While the roleplay toys I think are subpar, specifically the ryusoul keys, the moment I saw that megazord I just went screw DX Kishiryuoh. Kudos to Hasbro for making a better product. :rock:
Seriously, Bandai needs to step their game up. At this rate they should just have the Super Minipla department make the DX toys if they wanna compete and not get called out for their current mannerism.

I can see it as part of a two pack, possibly with Adam in the Mighty Morphin black suit, or as a Walgreens exclusive or something.

SPD green, nice, I'm still predicting that Dino Thunder will be the next fully complete team, though after wave 9 each team will only be short by two members, so maybe SPD and DT will get completed simultaneously. A bit surprised no Super Mega Yellow by now considering how prominent both Saban and Hasbro had her. Also surprised no Dino Fury Red, or any red ranger at all in this wave.

Opening song - Ugh. They really should retire the "Go Go" theme.

Zords - They did good on this one. I hope they give the Zords more premium paint apps down the line to match the shininess of the DX line.

LC - not really a collector but good for those who do, I guess? :D

Really Liked the Intro Song. No LC yet, but I'll settle for the basic action figures for now. Even they are better then what Bandai released for Ryusoulger.

I kinda doubt they'll do those as the relevant heads are just packaged with other figures -- if you want MMPR Red II you just get Zeo Blue, etc. The only exception is MMPR Yellow II and I could see her being in some sort of special 2-pack.

Either way the Metallics seem intent on giving you the season 3 identities

I'm a big fan of Lost Galaxy, In Space and Dekaranger so that next wave of Lightning Collection stuff is right up my alley. (Tengas are cool too.) They still have those weird little errors that a lot of the figures in this line have which is annoying though.

That Dino Fury theme sounds bad!

I watched this video, and all I could think of was how bad I felt for these people who had signed up for their quiet office jobs and now were in charge of uncomfortably reading jokes from teleprompters on youtube livestreams.

As someone who knows very little of what Power Rangers represents nowadays, is there some kind of definitive thread someone could point me towards with all the Toei/Hasbro gossip? Whilst watching this, it really struck me how much money was being sunk into this, and I can't help but wonder if the collectors' market for such toys is really that healthy that Hasbro wants a bigger slice rather than licensing the Bandai toys.

Well, their Lightning Collection seems to be profitable, given on what wave we're right now. And when it comes to the Zord, they hardly can do worse than Bandai right now. Saying Sentai is doing badly is an understatement, it's straight-up dying, with Rysoulger, Dino Furys counterpart one of the worst-selling seasons ever, together with Kiramaiger and Timeranger. Not following Bandai's lead here is the only winning move honestly.
