I have to wonder if they were always in their own digital world as well. Maybe none of them are real.

I thought that was the implication, that there were multiple digital worlds... I wonder if someone's made a Digimon/Gridman crossover....

I thought that was the case, given how the monsters in Dynazenon have the same "innards" as the one in Gridman. Among other things I likely missed.

Dynazenon can’t be in the Computer World, given that Gauma is the mummy from the original show.

Or data collected during the research of the mummy; digitized, itself believing it is real. Like how Akane created her own digital world, the mummy did as well.

It was outright established that Dynazenon was in its own digital world and that there are multiple digital landscapes that exist within the Gridman Universe. So a crossover is very easy to achieve.

It was never established in Dynazenon at all.

The most we got were some maybe hints at that, but plenty of hints that it could be in the real world as well. But it was never a hard confirm, just people saying it is based on assumptions.

I feel like Gridman Universe will tell us whether or not this is actually the case. After all, they specifically say in the trailer "multiverse" and it's not exactly out of the question that digital and real worlds can interact via the multiverse.

Seems like a pretty firm way to establish it if you ask me, especially given alot of the universal mechanics between the two shows are the same. And if we're to take the original Gridman into account, then the real world doesn't operate at all like how the digital one does and most regular people are none the wiser.
