If the CGI rumour turns out to be true, then I hope they do go with a video game theme honestly

Mostly just because I feel like it would be a lot easier for me peesonally to take CGI characters at face value if there was an in universe reason for them to look like CGI

I don't know if it's the most likely realistically but that probabaly sounds like the most interesting option to me personally? I'd be pretty hyped to see a video game theme in sentai again, especially if they went for an over-the top aesthetic

Tbh tho I'm also prepared for any/all of the rumours to be wrong, or just not entirely correct? Theoretically the show could be about something that none of us have guessed

I've gotten too hyped about rumours for shows that wound up being wrong before, it's fun to theorize and make guesses but I'm trying to not get too attached to any rumours or theories tbh (if we get any suit leaks I might be more willing to double down on what we can gather from those however)

I really don't think we're getting CGI rangers; at most it'll be something like Vice where they sometimes look like it. They don't even have the budget this season to have Rikki and Cuttaner as CGI all the time nor have Super Zyuran for more than one episode

I was thinking about the budgeting too earlier, I was almost thinking that it wouldn't be too expensive as long as the rangers are humanoid, since they could just rig some 3D models and do mo-cap rather than hiring animators, but obviously if they're going to bother to get actors to do mo-cap it would be just as easy and likely cheaper still to just have the rangers be suits like the Kikanoids (plus regular suit actors in suits would be much more in toei's wheel house production wise)

Mo-Cap would only be worth it if it was a stylistic decision rather than a practical or budget based decision, which isn't impossible I guess but yeah idk

Like I said earlier I'm trying not to get too attached to any rumour... and with some more critical thought it does seem like the CGI rumour may be just a rumour, or at best a half truth and like you said it'll be smth like Vice? Like maybe they'll use CGI for some specific purpose, but they won't be CGI most of the time, because you're right, having full CGI characters every episode would probabaly be more expensive or more hassle than it would be worth

I've seen a new rumor for suit actors, Lupin Red's suit actor for MomoBrother and Magine's suit actress for OniSister, no suit actors rumored for the cgi animal Rangers.
