There hasn't been a Sentai series I've seen that I haven't loved. But if this was for bland, I'd say Go-Busters. I skipped after the first ep and came back for Beet and Stag Buster. And I skipped this weeks episode. I'll come back when they show off their powerup

It has become apparent to me that you have only seen popular anime (Most Shonen animes are), not GOOD anime. Good anime is rarely over 50 episodes, many fans even believe 13 or 26 episodes is the ideal length of an anime (lean toward 26 myself). Most good animes are 5 or more years old. That's where T&B's popularity comes from. It's one of the only decent animes in years. Also, all my favorite animes have a "Western feel" to them, so you are just wrong on that.

Actually, I hate all anime.
It's the only medium that I, now, vehemently refuse to watch. I'm currently under the impression that no anime can be considered "Good."

And what? :p

Gokaiger. I've tried and tried, but it's just too hard to get through an episode.

Part of me is enjoying all of the people saying they don't like Gokaiger. The part of me bitter having to read all the Gosei-Hate.

Don't bother. Here's all that happens, plot, character, and story wise: They beat the bad guy and give the ranger keys back.
There is no character growth, there is no plot advancement, nothing occurs during the series at all.

I've been trying to work on a larger post detailing all my problems with the series, but so far all I've come up with is blind rage and more and more realizations over why Gokaiger was so awful.

Boring villians.
Special effects doing the fighting for the rangers.
A ranger cast that looks like a bunch of 8th graders.
The supporting cast is really dumb and annoying.
Terrible acting from the ranger cast.
The heders were a dumb concept.

The only thing I can give Goseiger a compliment for is having awesome names for their monsters.

Honestly, after spending a month watching all 508 episodes of The Simpsons, I came to discover no series should ever be 500 episodes. I love One Piece to death, it is one of my favorite shows, but the manga should not have been allowed to run as long as it has. Same goes for Dragonball Yu-Gi-Oh!. Two more series I love, but seriously, way too many episodes.

Anyway, it is hard to say. I mean, there are a lot of great shows in the 50ish episode mark like Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (well 64 eps), Ghost in the Shell SAC, Code Geass, and most Gundam series, but for the most part, the best are definitely in the 26 range. Death Note, Ouban Star Racers, Gankutsuou, Escaflowne, Speed Grapher, Noir, RahXephon, Cowboy Bebop, Big O, Wolf's Rain, etc.

As for Gokaiger, it is a flawed series, and I can understand why some people do not like it. However, it was advertised to me as a series of fanservice, and that is exactly what it provided. Plus, it had a strong ranger cast, the best we have had since GekiRanger, and some truly excellent fight scenes. Oh, and it had Basco, which showed they still know how to do a Rio type character.

I understand that it was based around fanservice, but I think that led to it's biggest downfall. No one wanted to see the Gokaigers fight, everyone was cheering to see them transform into another team. And they did. And this lead directly into another problem. Lack of identity. The Gokaigers themselves had exactly one fighting style. Swap weapons. Luka always did the swords on ropes, Don always ran around tripped and shot. It stopped being interesting after the 4th time they did it.

Speaking of Gekiranger, when did Jan learn to speak a full sentence without inserting his "Nikiniki wazawaza"? :lol

Basco was one of the points in Gokaiger's favor, I'll admit.

I do agree about their own fighting style, but what would be the point of doing their own thing when the feature of the series was them turning into other rangers and using their fighting styles? For me, that is one of Gokaiger's strong points. Sure, the Gokaiger only had one fighting style, but how many series actually change their fighting style? Not many. Even DaiRanger, the greatest Sentai ever made, stayed with one style for the rangers throughout the series. Gokaiger gave us 35 different fighting styles.
