You guys are forgetting something. There's a reason they keep making Mechs that combine with Body, Arms, Legs. Toy Sales. If they can't sell toys because the Mech is to damned complicated to combine, guess what happens to the show? Poof. That's what. So get this thought of a complicated transformation out of your head.

What I want is another Megazord like DairenOh. Where the Red Mech becomes it's own robot, and the rest of them form like a Megazord Armor around it. Only better done than Go-Buster-Oh. Ace is perfect. Then the others glue on..

I don't want an armor because then I can't bitch over the lack of elbows and knees :p

And I'm not even suggesting a complicated design. The most complicated the design I was suggesting was that the main zord had detachable legs.

Also, there's a difference between complicated and unique. The big reason why I want zords that combine in an interesting and new manner is that Bandai or whoever is making the toys have no interest in moving the line beyond 1991, so, like Magi/Mystic Force, the neat and interesting combination is what's selling point.

nope I don't. I know it's a long shot but what if this is a dragon themed sentai, since before the word "dinosaur" was invented they where called "dragons". You could have red be a four legged style dragon(like dn'd) , blue be Chinese dragon, green can be the one I can't remember but it stands on two legs and has wing where arms could be,, yellow a sea dragon and pink a wyvern. It proply won't won't happen but a guy can hope can't he?

If that happens, and they don't mess up, I'll dump my entire year's expenditure into the DX mecha line.

That's right. The Zyuranger to Timeranger mecha had some really imaginative designs. Very few stuck to the traditional Voltron-oh design, but were simple enough for the kids back then to enjoy too. Unless kids have regressed in intellectual aptitude, I think a unique idea that keeps it simple would make for a fine robot.

Although Toei has a tendency to give up on unique ideas when they bomb, I think they could benefit from learning what went wrong with Go-busterOh. As said before, a mecha doesn't have to be too complicated, which I think was Go-busterOh's problem. It was just too ambitious in making the individual components complex that the combination suffered as a result.

They could try a different transformation again, but it doesn't have to be crazy complex. DaiZyujin/Original Megazord is a decent design that is easy, durable, yet unique in its own way.

It Will never Happen. It just won't. Not after what happened with Go-Buster-Oh, not after something that ungainly. I'm telling you right now: The Next Mech will be a Voltron-Oh.

Besides Digimon, there's a bit of Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad in the whole digital factor (sorry I haven't watched Gridman so I can't comment). A digital environment would offer a ton of imaginative possibilities, as Digimon has demonstrated.

I do like the idea of virtual reality dinosaurs. Hopefully it'll lead to Zoids-esque mecha which would make a nice contrast to the ones in Zyu and Aba.

Didn't think of that, that's a great idea! It would be a great opportunity for Toei to reintroduce Gridman.

yea it will due to grid man ant lass as an ultraman due to the fact kamen rider all ready did a cross with a ultraman so with this sentai season cross over with gridman would be epic

Gridman isn't owned by Toei though unfortunately. Its a Tsuburaya property, so that might slim chances a bit.
