My favourite Kamen Rider character slash Toku-character would have to be Eiji.

There is something about him. He just has this "not quite dimwitted" feel to him, that almost threatens teh weight of the world that is hidden behind him.

It's something strange about him, that I love. Although he wants the world? He doesn't go after it, because he knows that his desire is a curse... I dunno.

I'm mentioning a PR character, but I'm entering for the Super Sentai prize if I'm allowed to do that. It's practically Super Sentai, not sure if it counts though.

Dayu from Power Rangers Samurai:

Dayu from Shinkenger had the potential to be a great character, and she was. She had a deep sense of mystery and a history of pain, like someone who just wants to end an eternity sorrow. However her back story left a little to be desired.

I'm sorry but when I learned her back story in Shinkenger, I thought it was more needlessly dark than tragic and it was too overblown. However, surprisingly the PR version managed to give the character the treatment that she deserved. When I saw the Samurai episode "Broken Dreams" I was pleasantly surprised to see that her back story was not only different, but better.

I won't say how for those who haven't seen either version yet, but I'll leave it at this. If you skipped on Power Rangers Samurai for any particular reason, you might want to go back and check it out just for Dayu alone, for she proves that darker doesn't always mean more tragic. And that is why the PR version of Dayu is my favorite sentai, no my favorite tokusatsu character of all time.

For sentai, it's Gai Ikari! He's so damn enthusiatstic about everything, it's like he's got ADHD and he's off his meds and I love it. He was one of the highlights of Gokaiger for me.

Kamen Rider? It's a toss-up between Kisaragi Gentaro and Nozama Tomoko. Gen-chan is the hero and pure of heart, sure, but I can't resist a cute goth chick. She's too adorable :3

Gonna add something- When coturos reveals his prize, you will have until the end of the contest to switch to the opposite prize draw if you want to, but you have to state a new character, and the switch will be your permanent entry.

Picking Kamen Rider Tiger.Just the design of his suit,his Claw Weapons,the fact he uses an axe.I just like his look and fighting style.

His design is great and very unique, in the words of Antonio "It's golden!" Kosuke himself is a very nice contrast to Haruto, where Haruto is noble and heroic, Kosuke is selfish and rather savage. Also there's the fact that (as far as I know) Beast is only Rider to fully devour a monster on screen.

Wizard hasn't gotten very far in terms of story and characters, but the two main riders have already formed a good rivalry, and there's the possibility that Kosuke will form an alliance with the Phantoms. Beast has only just arrived but he has great potential as a character and I already love him. Now all I need is a figuart... and some mayo.

If I didn't have that Kuuga already, I'd be switiching myself. He is a great toy.

I think I'm gonna switch, Shinken Gold! Genta is awesome, he's energetic, he has an awesome design, I love the way he interacts with the others, and he is downright hilarious. That's not even mentioning the epicitude of Ebizou and Ika-chan. (Also the Sentai prize is more interesting. Sorry Gentarou.)

I'm a little surprised to see Sentai on the Kamen Rider list.

That is pretty shocking.

My favorite character has to be Date Akira from Kamen Rider OOO. I'm just finishing this series up, but his character was one of my favorites for the entire ride. From the get-go I loved his personality: a good guy, but will do what he needs to to get his prize and try to help out others along the way. His fighting style was powerful and a bit more wrestling oriented, and even though he knew when to be serious, he knew when it was time to goof off, too. Also, that facial hair. That's something I wish we'd see more often in Riders. A few other things too, mostly revolving around the plot line centered around him from about episode 35-40 (don't wanna spoil it for those who haven't watched OOO).

And that "TA TO BA! TATOBATATOBA!" he did during the movie-filming episodes was hilarious.
