sorry for the crummy photos, but im proud of my little figure! i learned quite a lot making this one, and im not 100% happy with it, so i want to make improvements. im eyeing Bat Man as a possible second project, but i cant find any good reference photos

Black RX is seriously awesome, his ridiculously simple design just resonates with something deep inside of me. i take it thats the limit of his head movement? not really a concern for me anyway seeing as how the show suit had batman-itis.

i really want Kuuga Mighty Form but i dont want to fall down the hole of getting each of his 11 forms! he has more forms than there are showa riders!

thanks for the kind words! this site needs a customs section lol. i felt weird posting my progress in the figuarts thread (i figured its my own version of a figuarts zero) but i really wanted people to see and comment.

RX is simplistcly fantastic :lol He just pulls off the SHF treatment better than alot of other characters could. And yeah that's about the extent of his heads movement.

I'm good on Kuuga myself. I wanted Mighty, Ultimate, and Rising Ultimate. Knocked out 2 out of 3 but I haven't been able to track the last one down for a good price yet. The Red Eyes version (which I want) is extremely expensive most of the time.

You really only need Mighty form. The others are easily skippable unless you want to be a completist.

(and this is petty and nitpicky, but Kuuga has eleven forms and there are 12-15 Showa Riders, depending on how you count)

As someone who has Growing, Mighty, Rising Mighty, Rising Dragon, Rising Pegasus, and Rising Titan, I have to say, you need all of them. They're amazing figures, and so much fun to play with.

Also, I don't want to be alone down here at the bottom of this gotta-have-them-all hole (6 down, 6 to go, for Kuuga).

Don't get Rising Ultimate. It's a terrible design and it makes no damn sense in the context of the original series.

Eh, I think the design looks okay. But just like Decade will probably be the last rider series I watch (I want to see everything before it first) Rising Ultimate will likely be the last Kuuga figure I buy.

I bought this on eBay a long time ago. 1999 I think. Anyway, the seller was a very nice Japanese guy who spoke very little English, and we essentially communicated via BabelFish. I'll always remember his greeting in his emails: "Dear Greatest American Bidder!" :lol

Anyway, I have never seen another plushie in this style. He was always on display in my dorm rooms in college and has been my roommate wherever I have lived. He's my favorite bit of tokusatsu related merchandise.

Anybody own a gaia memory and a medal? I wanna see a comparison between the two, since it looks like the thing I keep my medals in might have room for one

Gundam and Kamen Rider? Gah! Too many O's!!!! That thing is seriously awesome and looks amazing.

This is my Cyclopter from Masked Rider -- or, if you prefer, Gatezone from Black RX :D. This guy is my favorite of the Crisis Empire baddies, and as he was the baddie included in the original line of toys, I am guessing Bandai liked him too.

He's got pretty decent articulation, and the sculpt looks pretty close to Gatezone, although the chest is a bit too barrel-like for him.

I have to give credit to my boy Monzo who found this for me and sent him to me. Thanks again!

I guess it gonna be impossible to find now...thought about selling it?:lol
