other than red rangers appalling acting, i didnt think it was too bad, bit too heavy on the similarities to MMPR but seems like theyre going back to basics.

Halfway through and i got a few problems.1.I find it weird that in Goseiger Black and Yellow are siblings yet in Megaforce Black has a crush on Yellow,kinda freaky. 2.Why was Red on the roof practicing,and even if he was practicing,why was he gonna kick the bottle off the rooftop potentially onto someone below.Also,why did he look at Timeforce Red's key and picture every Ranger but Timeforce Red? And last but not least,Tensou looks like a modified Roomba.lol.But for those looking,here's the first episode.

I noticed something disturbing. Black's Podium, where Goseiu showed him why he was chosen to be a ranger? It was Green. Saban, you are not making me happy.

I find it incredibly ironic that I asked Jason Faunt (actor of Time force Red) if he was gonna appear in Super Mega Force as a cameo, and instead they do a close up on his Ranger Key :lol

Is it me or does the Power Chamber have the vaguely distinct outline/shape of Gosei Ultimate.It wouldn't be the first time a base has been the big final Megazord.

Wow, I can scarcely believe it. This is the most fun I've had in Power Rangers since RPM. The cast actually works well and are believable. I think the true stars so far seem to be Noah and Jake, they feel very natural in their roles.

This is finally a year worth being excited about for Power Rangers. I can hardly wait for the new episode!

That just foreshadows his future role as Gokai Green. :lol

Gotta be honest, pretty darn good episode for start out of the gate. Great amount of nostalgia and throwbacks without being tacky or feeling rehashed. Great that he acknowledged his mentor was Zordon although Ive personally felt that way about most of the mentors since that time. Nice that they acknowledged the keys lining the walls and leads me to believe they will play a role- Although honestly better decor would have been the suits lining the chamber. Hell any decor would have been better!:lol
I already feel these actors are into it more than the Samurai crew.

Or that hes going to be piloting a green zord and the primary green ranger during Gokai...or will it be Gosei Changes...eh lets stick with gokaichange :D:D

My thoughts on Ep1

Good:
-Choice in actors.
-Refilm of WarStar scenes.
-Gosei (or 'Freaky Tiki" as he is now know)
-Ranger Keys
-Ernie's Juice Bar returns!
-The overall feel of the show
-Resetting the rangers to mirror MMPR but update them

Bad:
-Tensen, better voice but still annoying. And what are the tablets on his back for?
-The 'Command Center', we need a decorator STAT
-Actors all feel 'wooden' (this should hopefully change)
-The opening theme, lazy
-Admiral Malkor's mouth movements don't really match what they're saying a lot of the time

Overall a solid first episode and a lot of potential. We shall see...

Tensou, Spada. Tensou. And I like the Command Center. A very natural vibe.

I like it too. It has a bit of ancient Tiki flavor (thanks Jake), and just enough modern machinery to work. I'm guessing it will get expanded in due time.

the first episode was decent much better than samurai and the actors were decent enough.alot of references to mmpr but its still a great 1st episode.the theme song is abit wtf at reusing it but this series seems to be looking well

I really loved this episode and I really think I'm going to enjoy this series as my most favorite next to RPM. The pacing was a bit fast but honestly I think this worked well for it as I never got bored at all. The Goseiger footage was all extremely well used/edited. The MotW felt a bit slapped on at the end, but they made it work. I really took joy in how Tensou had the Goseiger symbol embedded on him. There was one shot where it was zoomed in almost as if they wanted to show viewers, "hey, he isn't just a wall-E/alpha ripp off, we are making him fit into the Goseiger world too!". Perhaps that wasn't their intention but that was a nice little touch for me as a viewer. I also noticed that this series amped up the sexuality quite a bit. I say sexuality for lack of better word. For example, how Jake is really into the yellow ranger, the girls kinda give Troy the googly eye when he makes his comment in the classroom like they are impressed with him, Emma's short shorts that I don't think are allowed that short in public schools, Gia had a couple cleavage shots, plus when she got knocked down by the loogies she seemed rather stretched out rather seductively, and I'm not into women and I still thought this. and Troy is the most beautiful man on the planet! and with all the close ups of his pretty face. stunning! Please don't think I'm gross and creepy for saying all that stuff. lol.


What ultimately I think I loved the most was that it felt like fan service and like a completely different show than Goseiger(I liked goseiger even). I mean, I've seen the first ep of Goseiger several times but yet even with their use of that episodes footage this just felt so fresh and new to me. so I think that speaks volumes in that regard. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Well it was certinally decent, a lot better then what I was expecting. Thank god it doesn't seem as pun heavy as Samurai was

There are still more than enough "Mega" puns to make anyone cringe, though. :D I love it all the same.

At least every other line wasn't a cringe worthy pun:lol

Oh yeah, the Monster of the Week was definitely more tolerable than the early Samurai ones.

I have to admit. Some of the Samurai puns were okay. I kinda liked it when Mike made the comment "time to rage against the machine". What always cracked me up was their target audience prolly has no clue who "rage against the machine is" or would even get it.

I'm curious if Buredoran (I forgot his English name) will have his same lasting presence as he did in Gosei.

Well if you look at the opening it does show his final form so maybe he might.

Oh yes. I really think he will. I'd bet money on it.
