So I order UK season Eight mainly due to my USA season Eight disc one was faulty in playback on thrid ep on disc one half way through. So I just got UK version. For the first disc mainly. But the second reson is the cover.

Yea I know just need disc one. All the other disc in the USA version playing fine iy was just disc one so I just swapped them over.

So I finally done what I wanted to do with z since BOG came out l. I watched the first 288 of Z followed by Son goku and his friends return then BOG and then the last three episode of z being 289-291

Son Goku and Friends looks like a fun movie. I like that it's not taking itself super seriously either

It's my fave special. The fact they used sound tracks from both DB and z in special was a nice touch

Too bad it never got a English dub but subs for it have been up on Youtube for ages. I personally like it as well expect for Goku beating the enemy in one punch as a normal SSj when Gotenks had trouble beating him.

I like that Krillian, Tien, and hell even Yamcha had a chance to be awesome again.

Actully I was talking with Todd the VA for natsu in fairy tail and voice of tarble in raging blast 2 and he said funimation did dub it but the did not realses it for some odd reason.

Just finished reading jaco the galactic patrolman. I must say I love this short story set 11 before dragon ball. It was a fun adventure. It gave more depth in dragon world we know and love and the fact yen does exist it the world is a nice touch. I loved how Akira tied it up to the start of dragon ball. I recommened it not just for the fact it has prequel prequel chapter that focus on bardock and goku mother gine.

I like Jaco and DB- as well. You have fans that hate DB- because it makes the Bardock TV special not canon and fans debated if the Bardock TV special was canon or not for years.

exactly. most fn never read the manga so the fact that seeing baby goku as he appears in the anime is cannon to them when in fact toei added that baby goku in o the anime to mainly explain master roshi story at the begining of z. the fact baby goku never showed up in manga at all hels make jaco fit more in continuty to akira works. i decided to class the bardock the farther of goku special the prequal to the anime only and have jaco and dragon ball minus the canon to the manga prequal.

It still amazes me that people who do not like DB is because something isn't blowing up every 5 seconds.

I thought the prequel story with Bardock was so much better than what the anime did. The anime OVA is not bad, but it isn't really all that good and makes little sense.

agreed. i like all these year after stuff yea more or some plot holes where done. now like radiz thinking goku was sent to earth to destroy when he was sent there to be safe. making raditz not getting in contact with his mother and farther before hand to know the truth and get told by freezers men that he was sent there to conquer it would fit in nicely or some thing like that.

I really liked DB. It was pretty funny. I can understand why some people don't like it (DB and DBZ practically worlds apart).

Looks like the manga adaption of Revival of F is out in Japan. From the looks of it so far, Freeza starts training after he got wish back and he seems to know about Majin Buu.

I watched the dub for Battle of gods last night, i love that movie. :lol Also something i need to ask that i've been wondering, did they dub the two songs in this movie? It kinda sounded like they did but i really couldn't tell.

I doubt that's coming to America though.

Awe man Dragonball Xenoverse is FREAKING AWESOME

it's kind of simular to Battle of Z but they've refined the hell out of that battle system. It feels like I'm playing the actual show.

Xenoverse is probably the best Dragon Ball game I've ever played which considering how modern console Dragon Ball games tend to go says a lot. It's also hard as hell, the AI is pretty good at adapting to you're stragies. I know I got my ass handed to me once or twice because I wasn't use to the controls quite yet.

Going from the looks of it, it looks like it's legit. I was expecting a form similar to Coola's 5th form. I will likely get used to it once the movie is out.

Freeza's new form is basically just a repaint of his previous form.

He looses the crystal like thing he had on the shoulders. 10 sec Mark you see the character Jaco the galatic patrolman. I'm more happy seeing him being in the film then I am freezer new form.

No one made a joke about Freeza being a Gold Saint now :p? Going by the tv spot, it looks like Jaco is in the movie too.
