I'm going to go wild and use locomotives from around the globe.

Red: A Shinkansen
Blue: British Rails Class 55 Deltic
Green: Swedish Crocodile (or, it that one's too big, the Rhaetian in Green)
White: Santa Fe Warbonnet-like 1950s A Unit
Black: Pennsylvania Railways GG1 class (In a GaoBison full-legs type deal)
Yellow: A Thomas The Tank Engine era Steam locomotive, with the Tender being a weapon

For others:
Sixth Ranger: Some type of Garratt locomotive, and a damn big one.
Bragigas-type Mecha: Union Pacific Big Boy

Second mecha: an Armored Train
Possible freight cars in a Shinkenger-like weapon add-on set?

You know, the Gaim Fruit Arms system would work wonders with trains. 5 engines or cars that combine into a robot then the auxiliary extra trains could drop down on the robos head and unfold into new helmets, shoulders, chest armor, weapons, etc. That could be really cool. But I doubt that's where they're going with hit, I'd just like them to get away from the arm swap gimmick again.

I'd rather a Wild Force/GaoRanger type deal with some forming torsos, some arms, some legs, and some (The Big Boy idea I have mainly) being the Torso and Legs.

But I also think that we should get a wide variety as opposed to just high speed locomotives.

That would be incredibly awesome, has the same purpose as the arm switching mechs but with a more involved mechanism. Great idea.

Well, GoGoV would be nice, because it would be cool to see how the style of older Sentai series would look like in a new production.
Something more military-based like Jetman would be cool, too. Go-Busters was a bit like that, but suffered from the poor quotes (wonder what it would have been like if it wasn't rewritten, but that's a different story).

Who suggested the whistle henshin?

A train station as the main base and trains as mobile bases would be awesome (there was an earlier rumor that there would be different teams iirc).

I'm hoping for something like the base in GoGoV/Lightspeed Rescue. I loved that Train Station they used for Grandliner.

That'd be cool. I hope one finisher is the four rangers (Blue plus the other three non-red) drawing and quartering an enemy with the trains.

Also, this is real similar to a concept I came up with on my own; construction vehicles. Part of the plot for that would be that the Rangers can't have a secret identity because they have to help fix any damages they cause.

Hopefully, depending on Ranger count/color:
Red: Shinkansen (this is a given)
Blue/The Smart Guy: A big, bulky (and ugly) Freighter like a JNFR DD51 or an American EMD7
Yellow: a Eurostar
White: American 30s Streamliner
Green: The Obligatory steamer, but a Garratt that forms the entirety of the legs.
Pink: an older European locomotive emphasizing elegance and grace
Other locomotives I'd like to see:
A Fairlie as a pair of melee weapons
A Crocodile-type for the sixth ranger
A PRR GG1 to give to Green as an additional set of legs (or just use old rivets for him; that one's green)
A 1950s American A unit
A Union Pacific Big Boy, especially since when the one being restored is finished, it'll be the same year this airs stateside.

Red: LNER A4 Pacific
Blue: LMS Black 5
Green: A Beyer type Garratt
Black: A Ffestiniog Double Fairlie
Pink: The Ffestiniog Railway Small George Enland, Princess
6th Ranger: BR Class 28 Metrovick Co-Bo Diesel

Most of that's British. I'll admit they've got a lot of good stuff going on for their steam engines, but I'd prefer a global reach.

Still, it's amazing how much speculation got picked up for this. I'm used to Transformers, where we can guess all we want and outside of about six guys total we'll not know anything.

I'm genuinely shocked that this Sentai's theme hasn't made it to TVTropes' And The Fandom Rejoiced page.

Also, I think I know what the name got revealed: when the Kyoryuger/Go-Buster crossover occurs, the Tokkyuger team will show up. So this lets us know what it's called so that when they show up, we don't have to go digging that much.
