I've got Ryugen on order already, he has my favourite suit in the series and although I'm not 100 percent sure on how I feel about the figure, I want at least some figure representation of the suit. And if it turns out that I end up hating Ryugen, the AC's representation won't break the bank like the SHF will.
|
Am I the only one that thinks Ryugen looks better without the armor? I'm not referring to just the toy either, but the entire design. Just put the helmet piece on and leave the armor off. He'd look much better.
|
I dunno, I really like his chest piece and shoulders.
|
The official Gaim toy website play section has been updated with Ryugens face plate and lockseed.
Banana arms and Pine arms look good on Ryugen in my opinion. |
Link?

Then again, looking at the photos in this thread, I think that might just be build quality as it looks like the armours are just slightly too small which makes the Rider look awkwardly bulky as they don't smooth down properly to their body. |

And I just goofed off for 20 minutes making random combos and yelling the names :lol |

He looks great with Pinneaple. |
Looking at the open face for the Strawberry Lock Seed it just hit me…
Guys, it totally looks like the Arc Reactor! |

All the others look like ass on him. They clash hard. |
Recent online image confirms that Melon and Himawari (Sunflower Seed) Lockseed will be in Gashapon set 02:

The AC series is so awesome.
|
Watermelon Arms looks ten times better than I expected he would. I might just bite.

Best gimmick line ever. They're really making Gaim as aweosme as possible, merch wise and show wise! What a great first series to start with ongoing. Quote:

Damn it. I give up. Where can I get these (that posts to the UK) and how much?
|
Pretty much anywhere man. Mandrake is good for cheap figures, but keep in mind that once shipping and handling is added the price is likely to increase by fifty percent to double.
Then of course there are the big five of CSToys, Jungle, AmiAmi, HLJ and Hobby Search. |
Looking forward to Watermelon Arms. That thing looks like Sentai-bot kind of fun!
|
Will definitely pick up Watermelon arms. I wasn't planning to get into the line but this seems like a good one-off pick up.
Or a tester of whether I want more :lol |
I think I'm gonna hold off on digging too much into the AC line until I'm truly convinced with the show. Although I am really excited at the prospect of having a bunch of ACs and having fun making different juicy combos and Watermelon Arms especially is so awesome.
|
I'm going the opposite.
I'm going big or going to sleep. |

A quick question to all owners of the ac figures.
Does anyone else have a problem with the helmet not staying attached to the fruit when you detache it from the rider? |
Sometimes.
I think what happens is the fruit so desperately wants to stay on the rider, so when you pull with enough force to legally seperate them you knock it off it's peg. |
The other thing I had a few times was that the helmet part got loose while still attached tho the head and I ripped the head off XD
|
I have no problems with my AC Gaim or AC Baron as of right now. I absolutely love them. Baron was a little stiff, and Gaim a little floppy, but overall they are excellent toys and I've already dropped a good bill and a half on Ryugen, Pineapple, and the two bike lock seeds :(
