Yup, I love those too, they look so much better in reflective material.

Somehow these suits just clicked for me in these pictures. I can't even imagine what was offensive about them. They look fantastic!

I can still see what people (me included) didnt like about them they have so little detailing and come off as naked. For some people it doesnt work but for me and you in this case it does :lol

I'm still scratching my head over TokkyuOh's shoulders. On the suit they extend above the head. On the figure they don't look like they do that.

Normally the two are a LOT closer to each other.

Oh man, I just noticed that neither the toy nor the suit have hands. It just has stumps. :(

Hmm you're right. The figure has the shoulders about level or just slightly above the head.

I like it being that far above, though, it looks more interesting, proportionally.

The toy shoulders still stick up alot it is just hard to see because of the weird angle the toy is shown.

It would be pretty unusual for the toys to look that much different from the show.

Is this the case of a main Sentai robot not having any hands?

That's still my problem with the mech, though. It's not the "I needed to see it in action" thing like others, but that, until we find a crotchless human, the suit actor will always feature the one area that the toy lacks entirely.

I don't think AbarenOh had hands.
And technically, neither did GaoKing (Unless the animal heads count).

The megazord suit looks a bit better than the toy but I have to see it in action. Also the suits are growing on me a bit.

AbarenOh did have hands. The mecha just kept them hidden. In the AbarenoJi mode the tric head became a shield and the Trex tail and tric tail merged into a sword.

And yes, I could animal heads as 'hands' because they could grasp things.

So Magmabase (fiveman) didn't have hands. Finger cannons.

I guess since GaoKing counts, then Gosei Great does, too. So...Yeah. I don't have any other possible candidates.

The in-show suit makes the mecha kinda look better and worse at the same time xD It looks better with the black undersuit filling out the waist part but at the same time it makes it obvious that its just a guy wearing a suit.

Well, that doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. Still. The suit and the Sentai members themselves will have to get used to. I'm still not completely sold. I'll wait until we start seeing actual footage instead of stills before I render my own verdict about it.

Oh man, the show suit doesn't look right. It really looks primitive in the grionial area.

The ranger suits have grown on me. But the mecha suit looks even worse then the toy if that's possible.

Rough outline of the characters from what I can make out from the orange text:

Tokkyu 1 is energetic and is always the first to head in to battle energetically. This also means he has the strongest "imagination"(The source of their power I assume).

Tokkyu 2 is earnest and sincere and is the smart one. And because of this nature he tends to think too much.

Tokkyu 3 is strong-willed and tends to care for her teammates. She has mastered various martial arts.

Tokkyu 4 is cool and calculating, and never loses his patience. In a pinch he tends to find the key to turnover even the most dire situations.

Tokkyu 5 is cheerful, cute, and likes to play a variety of characters. It's this uniqueness that makes her a strong asset (I sense an episode where she does a one-person theater act cosplaying as various characters).

How come it seems Green keeps getting the number 4 spot in recent years? :lol

The outfit and the mecha do look better in the show honestly, I'm still not sold on it yet, it depends on the actors, villains and storyline.

I think this will set the tone of the show I'm hoping for, also no fists no problem because TrainGodRobo has trains for fists. Think about it the MotW gatting punched out by a train, that alone could make for a great finisher. Back to the Chugga Chugga pic, tells me this like Kyoruger will be on the fun side. I just hope it can have a good pace like Gaim is having so far and I think I will be good, even if TrainGodRobo is kind of awkward to me still.

I personally dont think this will be as comedic as Kyoryuger. It would be pretty boring to get two full on comedy shows two years in a row.

That reminds me of SuperTrain MZ's finisher, I can totally see that being a normal attack.

Yeah, sometimes I hate it when I am right.

Because they are just so damn boring. They look like they belong in the Bowzock Empire. They look about as exciting as it is to listen to the Buddyroids speak. They look like a Korean bootleg of a Chinese bootleg. Hell, they look like something you would find in the gag gift section of Spencer's.

They might as well just called this train wreck, "Terrible Sentai Derailger."

Actually I was speaking about myself, I guess I should have made that clearer. I wasn't sure about the suits before but now I've been completely sold about them. I understand what people may not like about them, but for me personally any negative feelings have evaporated. :)

Oh thank god, the in-show robot suit looks fine, it's just the toy that looks bad.

Seeing how small the brace is on them, makes me wonder how big itll be in toy size.

I think it looks too bulky compared to the other wrist based changers.

Its not too bulky to me, just looks like a train station landed on your arm. That or a giant Skeeter :lol
