I blame Gun for detailing me more about Precure and for having dark precure as his profile pic, I blame Algo for telling me what the whole Precure thing was about and showing me what seasons to watch and explaining to me who was moonlight was when Algo had her as a sig, and I blame Comicguy for showing me Cure Heart Figuarts. You guys are part some of precure cult aren't you?

Lol well that movie has done a number on me, making me re-think everything that I wanted in an ending. Making me like the sad, good ending rather than the happy, dark ending.

You guys got me started on the close to 45 year old franchise of Kamen Rider. I think I could handle a 10 year old franchise lol.

Also good news my Madoka additions to my signature are almost finished.

They had completely different ideals, that was the whole point of Homura asking Madoka whether she thought laws were more important than desires.

Godoka acts for the greater good, while Devil Homura acts on her own selfish need. The whole ending was Homura resigning herself to the fact she contain Godoka forever and they will become enemies one day, but doesn't care because at least for now Madoka is what she perceives as happy.

Still as we don't know how it would continue it is possible that they might become enemies, but it is also possible that Homura also learns how wrong she was. Still it is possible that there could be a middle ground that Madoka could come and go as a God as she pleases with Homura's help. However these are all just ideas I have speculated.

I think your greatly overestimating someone who was prepared to wipe her best friend's memories against her will to make what she considered 'happy', but each to their own.

I just hope they don't make any more after this to find out.

Agreed, Even though Madoka magica is my #1 anime for me, I really do hope it stops in the next season or possibly another movie, I don't want the whole Madoka Magica series become a lame cash cow, it's what they kinda aimed for "The Rebellion Story", but it was still good. Have a good ending the next time around like it "The Rebellion Story" was originally post to have. Gen, said the original script had the ending where all the Magica Girls go against a army of Kyubey for the final battle... Imagine how cool that would be?

Oh man, why didn't that happen?! I mean I could definitely see a Magica Girls vs Incubators battle needing to happen rather than the Girls fighting other Magical Girls honestly.

I've read Urobuchi was persuaded to end it because it would ensure the franchise could continue. There are snippets of interviews on reddit and such that say that but none of them really have a proper source.

Ah it would be good to have some clarity on the subject.

There actually is. I bought the MAdoka Magica Rebellion Story collectors edition, and it came with a booklet of behind the staff. I forgot exactly what he says, but he wasn't persuaded or such to it, he gives us a clear reason as to why he changed the ending, I'll post it when I get home.

Ah cool, can't wait to read why it was changed.

In other news, I downloaded like 52 songs from Madoka, and listening to the Opening non-stop right now. =)

I just noticed something. The girls in their magical girl form almost look like a Sentai team. You got:
Red= Kyoko
Blue= Sayaka
Pink= Madoka
Black= Homura
Yellow= Mami

I think I'm probably late to the party on this but when I was thinking about it I was like "holy crap." :lol

I was also thinking how some of them have matching weapons to Zyuranger/MMPR. Madoka and Pteraranger both have bow and arrows. Kyoko and Sayaka have flipped weapons from both Tyranoranger and Triceraranger (Kyoko has a spear/lance like Triceraranger and Sayaka with her sword like Tyranoranger.).

Kyosuke was just an innocent bystander, he did nothing wrong... Hitomi was just a poorly written character whose motives made no sense.

Eh, making her a magical girl would take time away from Homura.
