Yes. And as archived in our Gaim rumors/speculations thread, the first behind the scenes shot of Gaim came around June 28th. The show premiered on October 6th. Following that logic, if this Drive image is indeed real then that's nearly 3 weeks sooner than last year.

I know the whole "Gaim has a shorter run" thing is more or less still up in the air so this could lend some validity to it. If so, then we could see Drive premiere somewhere around mid-september. We'll see how this plays out.

Well don't forget, Wizard had a longer run than normal. Gaim may well end up at the standard 48 and put Drive's start time back in September.

I think Gaim will end around the end of August. Ryuki started in February and ended before January ended. I won't mind a simple rider design again. W design was nice and simple.

IF Drive has started filming this week (Like W - Wizard did) and we see the first few scans at the end of June as well as a press conference on the last Thursday of the month Japan time. It would mean Drive is starting in September like W, OOO, Fourze and Wizard.

IF Drive only starts filming in the final week of June like Gaim did then it will be in October


one of the most recent rumors mentioned a red rider that looked like Accel and G3 merged into one. I still think that new picture is either a local hero or something unrelated.

No. They don't typically allow that.

normally there is a local news segment on the press con showing a tiny bit of footage the day after it.

Toei eventually puts parts of the press conference on their youtube channel a few weeks after the actually conference.

IF it is today we should get someone taking a photo of the poster like we did for Gaim's press conference very soon.

It's a press and merchandising type of event. It's not meant for the public, so why would they? That's why every year we get these grainy cell phone pics and blurred stolen images. This isn't really necessarily meant for the public. Not initially, at least until Toei's ready to full release the main show details and basic premise. This stuff takes time.

Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters anime was pretty good from what I can remember and the fillers were more watchable compare to the fillers that DBZ, Naruto, One Piece and Bleach had. Another rumor that the main character is also named "Sevens". I think the number 7 will be used in the show somehow.

I kinda hope for a mini car collectible gimmick. I grew up with hot wheels, so seeing cars of Ichigo - Gaim would be a A+ in my book.

I don't know what's coming (But I'm with Guyver on wanting a mini-car gimmick) but all I know is, at some point, he better have a team-up movie with Accel.

Okay. A "Rumored" Kamen Rider Drive's Collectible Item is Mini Toy Car but. How can Mini Toy car fit this story? Kamen Rider's power is meant to be use for Evil but how Evil gonna to use mini Toy Car?!

Well, Gaim's powers are from fruit locks. The fruit locks are actually real fruit that transforms. The cars could be something else that only turns into cars for him to use.

I means Kamen Rider's Power was meant to use for Evil. In original Kamen Rider. Kamen Rider was intent as cyborg soldier for Shocker.

But really? How the bad guy gonna to use a simple Toy car that supposed use for EVIL

Kuuga was a grongi. Ryuki's source of power comes from a Mirror Monster. Den-O's power comes from an Imagin. Kiva was a Fangire. Double's, OOO's, Fourze, and Gaim's powers all come from the same source as the villains.
It's an ongoing theme in Kamen Rider as a whole.
Before Fourze, I'd be asking "How can a switch be used for evil?" and before OOO I'd be asked "How could a coin be used for evil!?"
