Shout has done a wonderful job with a lot of shows. I'm honestly surprised they've gotten the rights to so many MST3K movies as it is.

I will say though one thing about Rhino's MST3K releases. They gave us Godzilla vs. Megalon on DVD in Volume 10 despite the apparent screw-up. Of course, now that volume is crazy pricey.

May Amiami order arrived today and it only took about a week and a half with SAL!

I haven't opened the figures yet because the Gurren Lagann charity art book ending up taking all my attention. Its so cool - the first half is sketches from the Gurren Lagann/Panty & Stocking crew but then the second half is all guest pieces from Pixar, Avatar/Korra and DC Animation artists.

Not quite toku, but snagged Summer Wars from Amazon, and some of the last (unreleased in the U.S.) Prime Beast Hunters Cyberverse figures from TFW member Transfan2's online shop.

I've resigned myself to collecting the rest of the Dragon Knight figma, there's something about seeing all of the boxes on end that is so gratifyng. I just have three left to finish the set (Axe, Sting, and Camo). Speaking of sets, Tomoe Mami and Homura Akemi uniform versions can join their fellow magical girls, as well as Ultimate Madoka. The decrease in price at Wal-Mart has meant an increase of Dinobots in my home, and that visit also yielded the titular Winter Soldier from this year's film. My wife, in her infinite wonderfulness, brought home Spidey for me one day as a surprise. Lastly, the HGUC high mobility Zaku II Black Tri-Stars version.

Now off to buy approximately 500 square feet of tile to replace the carpeting in my home.....

Look on the bright side: Getting all 13 Riders in Figma is a lot less taxing on the wallet compared to Figuarts.

Indeed. I genuinely like the figma releases but I dread getting Sting a little bit, it's gotten it's fair share of negative reviews. Besides, I shelled out the cash for the full line of souchaku henshin ex mirror monsters, I can totally live with the figma riders.

I've lucked out with them, the only one that I felt close to having overpaid for was the uniform version Homura Akemi. I paid roughly retail for the majority of them (man do I love Mandarake!). I especially lucked out with the unform version Madoka, the package was complete with sealed UMD, bluray, Kyubey pouch, handkerchief and clear card for ¥5000.

Yeah, surprisingly enough it's those Dinobots I'm jealous of... could really care less about that Moemura. :lol

Those guys are legitimately great. They're fun and intuitive hand candy. As for Moemura, she comes with the bow and hairpiece, plus you know... the OCD collector in me wouldn't let her slide. Heck, even her packaging focuses more on her other figure.

Honestly, I think I prefer the Figma over the Figuarts myself.

They're shorter yes but they look much closer to the actual on stunt suits.

I don't think the Figma looks bad at all, I just think they get a lot of hate due to QC issues, that's why I'm a bit iffy if I should get Onyx or not.

We belong to a small minority on that one. We could always fudge the height, but the sculpts are rather nice.

Onyx actually sold me on pulling the trigger on Dragon Knight. I haven't experienced any qc issues as of yet, but my figuart Ryuki and Ouja have always popped ports randomly while being manipulated. I even lost one for, I'd say just about a year. I only found the missing piece because I stripped the office down to replace the flooring. Hooray for not vacuuming a room adequately?

A partial haul for the last week, was waiting for a missing box to show up to post it all but oh well. More goodies arriving tomorrow for another good sized one ;)

Love the Hound so damn much it defies logic. But any time I see a guy cleave someone in half with a sword I'm pretty much good to go. He may have his way with me ;)
It's a beautiful statue. My wife is big into the Bombshells but mostly thanks to my prodding :lol Since I manage a shop it's easy to come by most of the statues affordably. And Afterlife is too ridiculously insane not to own. As will be the Sabrina spinoff they announced.
Yup! Actually came out in US shops about 2 weeks ago though I don't know about the European distribution. Great book, killer art.
