Well he did steal the Peach Energy lockseed for shits and giggles (he had no idea it was going to give him what he needed to locate overlords), but I wouldn't call stealing weapons from bad guys a moral failing per se.
He also seems to get all his power ups from DJ Sagara just handing them to him, but there are plenty of Riders who don't do much to 'earn' their power-up items (Tendo and the Hyper Zecter, Tsukasa and the K-Touch, Wataru and Tatsulot, etc). It seems to me that some people want Kouta to be someone who makes 'hard choices' and 'does what he has to do' when his central character is that he doesn't accept that sacrifices and questionable deeds are required to achieve peace and happiness. |

Not cool, Micchy. Why you do this?! You are Kouta's best friend NOT his enemy. NO!!!!!!!! |

Koutas on that journey, denying the fact his friend is gonna use Mai to resurrect the Queen. |

It's also kind of obvious that Kouta is clearly in denial concerning Micchy, since he always shakes his head and runs off whenever Kaito brings him up.
|
And can anyone really blame the guy for it? Imagine after all you went through together your best friend turns out to be a homocidal maniac. Would your first thought really be "Lets kill the guy!"?

This episode took some surprisingly dark turns, I may not like Micchy as a person but his character arc has been wonderful. Although I'm sad there is no attempt at all to keep continuity with his suit actor's height.
I dunno if they got a new director or cinematographer in for this episode but wow was this episode pretty. From the use of close ups, to Kaito and the lens flare to that transformation where we followed the fruit through the portal. The action benefited from it a lot as well with Kouta and Micchy's showdown one of the coolest fights in the show, although why does Kouta always go to Jinba Lemon? But yeah, great episode. |

Even though he knows Micchy killed Takatora (as much as I hope that Takatora managed to survive somehow), I believe Kouta needs to actually see Micchy go to strike a deathblow before he'll stop pulling his punches. That's the kind of person Kouta is: he didn't give up on Hase even though he had clearly become a mindless dangerous monster, and he's unlikely to give up on Micchy unless he's sure he can't be saved. |

I always tell myself that Kachidoki is slow and Kouta likes a bit more speed.

Gaim's run will end in roughly ten weeks.
In the meantime, let us give thanks for a show that taught us how badass fruits can be, and how they can make us reflect on philosophy, human nature and hope. |
After watching the Gaim/Wizard movie, I would LOVE IT if the one thing to be kept canon in the series itself was Micchi still having the blood orange lockseed in his possession. A final battle between Gaim and Micchi as Blood Gaim, in the mental state he's in now, would be kind of awesome.

Everyone complains when the main Rider overuses his final form in a series... Then they turn around and complain again when he actually makes use of his past upgrades as well?

____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Something that I just thought of, What if "Ghost" Takatora was right? Mitsuzane has gone so far off the deep end, what if Mai gets in his way? He might not hold back and simply strike her down where she stands... Like right in the way of him finishing off Kouta... Which could both break Mitsuzane and push Kouta far enough to "End" Mitsuzane... |
I don't see how the Jimba forms are useless at all.
They actually did a good job of making them useful even after Kachidoki was acquired. |

About Micchy, didn't he start to fall slowly into madness when he discovered Helheim's Forest truth by his brother around episode 14? I remember that he was very distraught...
More so, perhaps had he lost all kind of hope seeing that and watching Kouta still spreading hope and saying that he will find a solution really drove him over the edge, especially when he realized that Mais would rather believe someone based on faith instead of someone who's "man enough" to face the cold hard truth. I'm just making theories though. And still about theories... I wonder if, in that fight, the problem wasn't that Micchy was suddenly OP, but that both Kouta and Kaito weren't at the top of their game? Kaito by being hurt, Kouta by being Kouta ? Or, even more simplier, Micchy mirrors Meteor in Fourze final: despite having been beaten a number of times by the Leo Zodiart, Meteor finally casts out all his doubts and win the fight. Another thing that I've noticed, is that pure skill is somewhat very important in Gaim (there are exceptions) as well as full commitment. Against his brother, Micchy had statistically the advantage but his brother, being more skilled, was able to beat him. Against Kouta and Kaito, he's fully committed. I remember that Kouta technically beat Takatora with Jimber Lemon when he was full on stopping Yggdrasill. Something tells me that when Kouta decides that he really must stop joking around and start kicking Micchy's butt, not even Redyue nor Micchy's own prowess will stop him. Lastly, I was wondering something, and it concerns Micchy's hallucinations of his brother. I think we can all agree to say that Redyue is using Micchy. But, what if she's doing more than that? I don't think that she made him become distant with Kouta, he antagonized him himself, but she's driving him more and more insane. With that in mind, what if his hallucinations are simply a part of his brain who tries to break out of it ? The warning about how he's gonna see Mai as an enemy soon enough made me wonder that. Oh, I have a question. What does that mean " receiving the flowers " ? And where does that happen? |

So am I the only one who feels that the Overlords have lost a lot of their original menace? I mean, what with Deemushu getting easily beaten via bullshit worf effect, Dyudyuonshu dying in his fucking debut, Grinsha dying in the span of 2 episodes, them overall being very human in nature in contrast to how they seemed in their earlier appearances where they were more alien in nature.....and now apparently fucking Micchy can take on both Kiwami Arms and Lemon Energy Arms, something that the last Overlord couldn't do.
|
Well, we didn't see what Redyue and Rosyuo are capable of. They could very well be able to take all riders easily, needing for them to be beaten that all the riders (yes, including Micchy) to be at their absolute best.

Kamen Rider Gaim: The one time where having a lemon doesn't suck :lol. Seriously though, I get the feeling the director felt proud to get Jimba Lemon, Duke, and Baron Lemon Energy at the same place at the same time shot wise. Mitchy is definitely full on villian now, with a generous side of batshit crazy.
