Well I caved again and have now properly dived into the world of Drive toys. Just got a Tridoron off amazon.co.jp and got me the TK figures/sets. Even have preorders down for Wild and Chaser who I might add are looking really good.

Also I place the blame soley on Den-O for taking awesome photos.

The AC line really stepped up the whole not figuarts line into something special, and I'm glad the TK line is living up to that, I think the instant I saw Wild and how the same tyres can work all around really cemented it for me. Like I know the figuarts can sorta do the same thing from what we've seen I don't think it'll be capable of doing things such as Vegas' stacking.

Tridoron is really cool... do you know if you're getting the max flare FT promo item with it?

I don't think I'm getting it with my one since I just ordered it so it's probably a later run. Though would be a nice surprise if I did haha.

So since we'll most likely get the Legend Rider Series as personalized Shift Cars I started thinking; will there he any Legend Rider Series Signal Bikes? I have doubts, but I wouldn't surprised if they released like 2-4 of them.

So I completely broke down and bought TK03 Type Wild on HLJ :lol

I suddenly got my payment request for Type Wild and the second wheel set. I only just preordered them last week and I got it in. Really glad there isn't that big a demand for them compared to Gaim.

Got mine too. I'm think HLJ got more instock this time around IMO. Also the demands there I think it's just with fewer individual figures compared to Gaim there's more stock available in general.

Btw does anyone know what the red car with the blue top is? Saw the candy toy version in the new arrivals at cstoys and wondered if it'll be in a dx pack.

For some reason I only got payment request for Wild but not the tires. So I just shipped it. Then they requested payment for the tires this morning.

And this is why I despise HLJ with a passion.

I´m much more surprised that they already requested payment for the Tire Set since isnt that supposed to come out next weekend?

Private Warehouse? If you have orders for the month, stack them up in the warehouse and ship them as a whole. You can even change shipping methods to "Private Warehouse" if you already pre-ordered it with another shipping option.

That's not really HLJ's fault here if you ship it out like that.

Yes it is. Please dont try to inform me how to use a website that's notoriously ripped me off for years. It was set to private warehouse. Then they only filled one of the orders, Type Wild. And the tire set had been removed from my account, as seems to happen very often with my pre-orders from them. Items just disappear sometimes with no notification. But in any case the tire set was also on order stop on their site so getting them anyway looked suspect. So I went ahead and paid up Wild to ship it since I apparently had nothing else coming in this month. Then this morning I wake up to an e-mail for money for the Tire Set which wasn't even in my pre-orders as of yesterday.

So yeah, it IS HLJ's fault. Sorry if that seemed rude but HLJ infuriates me to no end and they always feign innocence about whatever my issue at the time may be.

Just checked and TK04 Tire Set Second can still be preordered. HlJ may have messed up but the set isn't out yet.

Either way I asked them to cancel that order. I'm sure it was a glitch or screw up on their part but it still bugs the hell out of me that I just never have the smooth experience other people do with them. Trust me it isn't at all uncommon for me to get bamboozled by them as I've been documenting over the years. Just can't catch a break most of the time with HLJ :(

But yeah man HLJ are fine with normal purchases, if you even try preordering with them there isn't much guarantee that it won't be a total nightmare. I'm just really lucky right now that type wild and the shift car set came in.

(Also don't suppose anyone can answer my previous question about what's the name of the shift car that is red and has a blue canopy and if it'll be included in any of the DX sets)

The Name was something with Solar. Its supposed to show up in the movie first so I assume a DX release will come somewhere down the line.

Grabbed myself a Type Wild as well, since I plan on buying Chaser and having him all by himself without someone to fight against would be lame.

Speaking Chaser, I hope they include his weapon with the figure. Since all three known variations of his Viral Core-weapons seem to transform into one another, it would be cool if the figure's weapon could mimic that.

I ended up grabbing one off Ebay since Midnight Shadow is the only Drive thing I want at the moment, and CSToys would charge me more than what I paid for on Ebay despite it being one little toy.

Yeah but all three weapons are basically the same one, mold-wise, look at the magazine scans, you can clearly see it. They are the same device only that the plates are in a different position so that they work as a different kind of weapon.

Spider = Claw, plates up front
Bat = Bow, the plates turn around to form a bow
Cobra = The plates turn to the back and he uses the connection cable as a whip

That's why I hope they make the weapon with movable parts so you can adjust them manually to change them to either mode, so there's no need to make each weapon a separate mold.

And the Chaser-figure needs some kind of gimmick so might as well give him that :)
