Why is it such a big deal again if people dislike the look of Keeper?

I dont particular care for his look but still think he is a pretty cool character.

The only reference I would make between Lerigot and The Keeper is that they are alien wise men that end up giving the rangers their powers. That and they're both short. And robed. On does it via magic and the other via alien tech.

Turbo. I liked the movie, but the show wasn't all that good. Liked it a little a bit once the first replacaments (TJ, Cassie, Carlos, forgot other girls name) showed up.

I remember having the overall feeling of severe disappointment.

I only got Lerigot vibes from that initial clip revealing him for about 10 seconds. Then I thought he looked like something from Galidor.

So... finally braved the crappiness of the Nick player and watched the episode. And that was pretty darn good. Almost none of it looked like Kyoryuger footage, and I really dig Sledge's suit design. Keeper's starting to grow on me, too.

I watched it with that really bad ADD screen Nick had going on, but despite that, I managed to get through it. So far, it isn't that bad. I don't care for the love child of Yoda and ET, but the acting from the pink and red rangers was pretty good. I liked that they did not rush the episode just to get everyone their powers. On the other hand, I already find the blue and green rangers (at least I think they are the blue and green) annoying. The names of the villains are dumb as hell though and the design for their master sucks.

Holy frick, I knew you guys said it was good, but I never thought it would be ths good :D

No I actully he ment Dino gem due the Dino gem where in metror rites in Dino Thunder. So seeing Dino charge having in metror rites in load sledge had might be possibility.

It is off to a great start. The only downside is that I have a horrible feeling it's going to go downhill from here...

Well it always could go downhill but seeing them invest so much effort in the pilot alone makes me incredibly optimistic for this show.

LOVED IT!! Also, the selfie thing that Tyler did, that was brilliant, also, the humor it WORKED, FINALLY I can watch a tolerable Neo Saban Era Power Rangers season! :lol.

They finally stopped to rely completely on stupid puns and "throw cake in the face" type jokes and actually made really nice dialogue based jokes.

I oh so appreciate that the fight scenes didn't consist of dull, crappy one liners and puns up the wazoo.

I absolutely loved that. I dont mind them talking a bit during fights but it was so cringeworthy that they always shouted out stupid puns like "I sweep you of your feet" and shit like that.

I've been gone a long time, almost a year I think but with murder and new series of Power Rangers and Sentai I had to pop my head back in and say hi.

Any way, on topic, Kyoryuger had some INCREDIBLE action and suit designs and while original is always best I wasn't really all that impressed with the episode other than with the novelty of finally getting original footage again. If nothing else, couldn't they have at least made Sledge look like he came from the same roster of villains?

It was certainly better than Megafail and Super Megafail but that wouldn't be hard to top. The fact the actors here can even line read shows improvement over the last two series.

Ok, so I gave into it and watched it. Very impressed by all the originality. I also really liked the pacing in this, not giving us too much at first but also did enough to establish a foundation of the backstory. First thought when Keeper popped onto the screen? ET's grandpa! Haha! Kinda upset they didn't bring over the Torin character as the figure head, I feel they could have done MUCH more with that than Keeper. But otherwise I was really impressed by this first episode. Dino Charge is bringing me back into the PR fray.
