How about Kamen Rider Kyoryu! Japanese for dinosaur.

Yep. Exactly what I was thinking. Jurassic, Triassic, and Cretaceous forms, and the final form could be Mesozoic. No idea how those would translate aesthetically.

One of the reasons I said "Paleon" instead of "Paleo" initially was to separate it entirely from all that "Paleo Diet" fad nonsense. Oh well.

I was thinking about the kaijin being based on....

- Cretaceous

This one seems really good, especially if you think of the forms the each era can add

I was thinking the kaijins could be skeletal, sort of like dinosaur bones.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, we're only trying to come up with a name. We'll talk about forms and villains later.

As for the secondary rider, it needs to be based on prehistoric/extinct beasts.

I say he should be a dinosaur that no one has really used but is still a pretty hype-ass dinosaur.

I had a random idea for your rider guys:

He only uses Herbivores at the start, villains are based off of Carnivorous Dinos. Midseason upgrade he gains a Pterosaur to allow him to fly, final form is a Carnivorous Dino in order to counter the villains properly.

what if he had access to plant eater and meat eater powers, but they each act differently, so situations call for different ways of going about it.

it'd kinda be weird to allow multiple herbivore forms and states then lump the carnivores altogether in one.

I had an idea where there end up being 2 riders, 1 Carnivorous and 1 Herbivorous. With a potential 3rd that was Omnivorous.


Another idea I had had 3 riders, 1 Land, 1 Sea. and 1 Sky.

I would like it if we had an enemy that was actually two groups, the herbivores and carnivores, and they each had their own story arcs and character types.

like, neither is completely evil, some members are good but have to side with them out of loyalty. like, near the end, a couple of them even join the good guys.

also, I think a good name for the rider would be Cretac, short for Cretaceous period, where the dinosaurs resided.

How about adding some elemental stuff to it and call him Kamen rider TerraNo (Terra = Tyrano + T and N in its name ) or just call him Kamen rider Teksaur (if you want some tech stuff added in) and we could ...just call him... Kamen rider Extinct :D

I like the the names TerraNo and Extinct, but I get why there would be technology with dinosaurs, so Teksaur wouldn't work.

I was thinking for the concept the dinosaur rider is thrived from Tarzan & Hulk. Like Faiz & OOO the rider will have a kaijin side. He'll go dino-Hulk in a rage.

The final form is where he gets control. Godzilla style.
