Mine was going to be here yesterday. But it was sent to the wrong post office. Then it went out for delivery this morning only to be re-routed back to the same post office. Then forwarded to my correct post office while I was on my way to the first one to pick it up. We're getting like 14" of snow tomorrow. So I don't think I'm getting him this week :(

Got my final piece of backer rewards from the Skullgirls campaign today. Which I didn’t expect at all because there was no shipping notice. But still, it’s here! The physical OST (Which I’ll keep sealed, I have the OST digitally anyways) and this awesome unique postcard-sized sketch by the great Kinuko, depicting Stanley Whitefin. I really need to frame this.

Sweet baby jesus that looks rather swell. I wasn't expecting to see that.

Mine and Winston's (the one in the background) turned out great, so all those concerns about splotches one the face seem to be inconsistent. Also, yeah, the faces only look off if you look REALLY close at in a high-res image. In person, they're fine and pretty much spot-on for this scale.

And dear lord can he MOVE. About the only complaints I have are the fact that he can do just under a full split, and the wrist pegs are a single ball joint. But, he doesn't lose a lot of motion in the wrist and they look fine, so I'll give it a pass.

I keep seeing the Mega Force toys and thinking "oh, hey, I remember having that one, too!"... how many Mega Force toys did I have growing up? I had a grenade that popped open into a base scene, but don't remember if that was Mega Force or another toyline. (I had some Z-Bots, too, but obviously not enough of them to care)

The grenade sounds familiar but I don't think its Megaforce, since everything in it were giant vehicles. A lot of the ones I bought still have the old clearance stickers on them so most of these were selling for pretty dirt cheap, like 3-5 dollars back in the 90s. It's a shame the lines dead and isn't very popular. Its like one of those things everyone probably had but not very popular.

Think I'm going to try getting the rest of the Shinkengers individually, as opposed to the Samurai SDCC pack. I'll get that later. As for Fourze Cosmic, I'm just a bit miffed with his leg joints being loose. My first Cosmic had some slight loose joints, and read some comments here that's the norm for some in the Fourze line. But happy nonetheless. It's great having a complete Barizun Sword now. Next up: Meteor Fusion. For Red Ranger, he's cool. Guess this is my stand-in for the non existent Figuarts, as the likelihood of getting that is moot.

I picked up the gold trim Dino Charge Megazord box set from TRU yesterday for $40. I dunno if they are all like this, but mine came only with the Plesio Zord instructions for some reason. Also the Raptor and Para Zord Chargers glow in the dark, but the exclusive golden T-Rex Charger does not. Weird.
