I definitely agree with you that they'll most likely adapt Kyuranger after Ninja Steel is finished. What I don't agree with is the reason you seemed to say would be the reason for skipping Zyuohger. I don't think Ninja Steel's second season taking the next anniversary spot has anything to do with them potentially deciding to skip Zyuohger. I think it has more to do with trying to keep up with the Sentai seasons while also attempting to keep their current two-season per series format. Which is why I'm kinda hoping next years Sentai is, for me, uninteresting, as I imagine it's allready doomed to be skipped.

not just that kyuranger is the first season of seantai that not only did toei thought it up but both Bandai japan and Bandai American had a head in design it.

I wish Ninja Steel would have Zaram as the gold ranger.

Let's be honest, even if they went back to 1 season (40 episodes) like the old day (come on Nick get it together), they would still skip Zyohger. Mainly cause space globes are gonna sell way way better than animal cubes. Plus Zyoh had no collectible gimmick.

While on the subject of skipping a season, they should have ditched the Goseiger material completely for Megaforce and focus their all on Gokaiger material.

It would really depend on when they would theoretically revert back to a single season per adaptation format. If they had done it with Ninja Steel, than there's no doubt in my mind that they would adapt Zyuohger, rather than skipping it. To theoretically do KyuRanger for next year's season they would have to adapt it as it's airing. Which is something I can't imagine Saban pulling off these days.

Granted, this is all just theoretical. Unless Saban sells the franchise again, or there is a big shift in those in-control at Saban, I don't think they'll shift from their current format anytime soon.

They wouldn't have and I can give a few theoretical answers as to why:

- The Goseiger color-scheme is the same as Zyuranger/Mighty Morphin'! Too good to pass on!

- Goseiger had a mentor! Gokaiger didn't! Gosei is a replacement for Master Head, but Goseiger had someone PR could replace! Gosei is adapted from the Tensouder, but can you dream-up a mentor to replace a flip phone!?!?

- Robo Knight and Vrak were not bad concepts/characters, just very mismanaged!

- Using only one would've limited the number of toy sales.

- Nick and its nonsensical logic when it comes to airing episodes.

- Samurai/Super Samurai started the dumb as hell "Second-Half-is-Super" trope! They were probably trying to lead into the matter, with Legendary Ranger Mode being the anticipatory power-up!

- Gokaiger were not involved in the Great Legend War! Re-filming would've been a little awkward, even if it was done correctly!

- You aren't entirely wrong, but it had to go wrong before anyone decided to do it differently! That said, I'm not on the "Hate Goseiger" bandwagon! The PR "fusion-of-the-two" was not a bad decision, just poorly executed, and Nick has to share the blame, not just the PR crew's lack of passion!

P.S.: Does anyone have anymore photos from the Vector Arena filming? "Judge's Assistant"!?!? We having another "Rangers-on-trial" episode?

Actually, Saban WANTED to skip Goseiger as the year was the MMPR anniversary. Toei didn't want them to skip it as Goseiger was successful in Japan. And Nick is absolutely to blame for the whole 'super' thing as they made sure Saban's only allowed 20 episodes per show

Unrelated, but...finally, I know the name of that one location where every season has its fight scenes.

1. How was Goseiger successful in Japan? Do you mean by product sales, or ratings?

B. WHY THE HELL DID TOEI NOT WANT TO SKIP IT?! So fucking what that it was successful in Japan! Power Rangers is made for America. So do they have a fucking good reason as to why not skip Goseiger?

Both, Goseiger was apparently the most viewed Sentai in the last decade and it did what Decade did for Ganbarizing until the trading cards died out around ToQger.

It was in the contract iirc, and Saban couldn't just break it. Which makes it infuriating for ToQger or Go-Busters fans and inevitably Zyuohger fans

I got to be honest after reading that spoiler, Ninja Steel just seems to be really dumb. Please tell me there is at least something about it that makes it worth watching?

Not really very poor writing and acting that's make you want to watch the Sentai one insaid.

After they mess up with the dino supercharge final I don't know how anyone could have faith in this show it just lame.

- I can kinda understand it. Goseiger wasn't really significant in Gokaiger. Not many Gokai Changes used Goseiger.

- Goseiger was SUCCESSFUL in Japan!?!? Here and know, everyone hates Goseiger for some reason! What could have attracted kids to that so well when everyone is so irritated with it well after the fact? I think some have used it on "Worst Sentai" or "Most Hated Sentai" lists!

- Is Nick intentionally trying to kill the franchise? Do they even pay attention to the fandom's reaction? If they know their episode arrangement is working for anyone anymore, why don't they "adjust" it? Ninja Steel is actually regressing!

It's not that Saban REALLY didn't want Goseiger. It was the anniversery for Power Rangers and as such, Gokaiger was that much more appealing to use

Japan has different tastes than US fans, sure, WE think it's bland but they enjoyed it

The ratings have been pretty low ever since, I don't know WHY Nick does it, but they do. And the franchise is very niche so there isn't much of a fandom to listen to. And Ninja Steel regressing is more Saban than Nick
