The two shark monsters like Abyss Hammer and Abyss Slasher are appeared in Ryuki series so the potential Kamen Rider Abyss powers actually are exist in Ryuki series. Both Abyss Hammer and Abyss Slasher are didn't have Rider as their master in Ryuki Series.

And, in Zi-O, someone finally can become Kamen Rider Abyss.......

I'm just thinking that, if 13 decks were created, and Ryuga was a fluke that had his own deck from the get go from being born in the mirror world, I think technically speaking, Abyss is the true 13th Rider in Ryuki.

And it's entirely possible. A version of Raia had Guldthunder as a partner, Imperor has like, 5 monsters under his thumb because the Zelles travel in herds, and Abyss has 2 advent cards because both sharks are contracted to him. So it's not impossible for the Zebra Skulls to form a contract with someone.

It's similar with rider time Ryuki. 13 great warriors were brought to the mirror world, which discounts Odin being one of them. Ryuga was also probably not counted. This leaves 11. At the start of the special it is mentioned that some are already dead, but we don't get to see who those are. My guess is that one is Femme, and the other could be Alternative or a new rider

Well, Alternative is definitively not one of the 13 chosen riders, since his powers and deck weren't part of Odin's creation.

Played by Kenji Tominaga aka the suit actor for Kuuga and Riku the former Kuuga in Kamen Rider Kuuga.

He also suit actor for Duke and Bujin Gaim.

While the statues on Grand Zi-O are placed there for an obvious reason (left side Heisei Era, right side Neo-Heisei Era, middle Anniversary series), there are other potential reasons for their placements.

Chest Left Side: Kuuga is the first Heisei Era Rider, Den-O and Kiva appeared in the first Heisei Era team-up film (Climax Deka)

Chest Right Side: Double is the first Neo-Heisei Era Rider, Ex-Aid started the Heisei Generation film series, Build appears in the last Heisei Generations film in the Heisei Era.

Two statues on each side of his waist: Kabuto and Ghost both possess horns.

The position of the statues makes a U shape that follows each Heisei era's Kamen Rider order:
* Heisei: Left shoulder: Kuuga, Left arm: Agito Ryuki, left leg from bottom up: Faiz, Blade, Hibiki, left waist: Kabuto, left side chest: Den-O, Kiva
* Neo-Heisei: right shoulder: Double, Right arm: OOO, Fourze, right leg from bottom up: Wizard, Gaim, Drive, right waist: Ghost, right side chest: Ex-Aid, Build.
Decade is in the middle to serve as a bridge between each side (last Heisei Era Kamen Rider, first to properly start the yearly team ups alongside Double (Movie War/Heisei Generations). Zi-O is on the crown to symbolise his role/dream to be King and he is above them all as he is the one who inherits their powers to become a King.

I just found out about the patterns on the Taros that spell out bits of their name (and also that Sieg's chest has "SWAN" written on it), and now I'm sad all over again that Yasushi Nirasawa isn't still around to keep coming up with more amazing monster designs.

How did you not notice the SWAN on Sieg's chest? It's not exactly subtle :lol

It's literally all down to it being mirrored on the other side. The giant, attention-grabbing "S" is balanced out by the backwards one right next to it, resulting in my brain just seeing two decorative squiggly gold lines no different from the ones elsewhere on his body, including just above on his collar. Same deal for the other letters.

It's not subtle at all once you see it, but it's blended into the design so naturally I never gave it a second thought until recently.

Like I said, I guess it's all a part of me just being in love with Wing Form and Sieg since 2007 :lol

Woz Ginga Finally Wakusei Form's (I don't care if the official spelling is 'WozGingaFinaly'. I'll stick to my spelling) transformation announcement, "水金地火木土天海 (Sui-kin-chi-ka-moku-do-ten-kai)" is derived from the first letters of every planet in Japanese:

I only just realised today that Sasword has a really obvious Scorpion pattern on his body that's one of the only coloured parts of it. The body of the scorpion is on the chest looking up; the tail wraps around the waist and left leg; and the shoulders are the only 3D part of it -- the claws.

And how did I finally realise this after loving Sasword's design for so long?

For what it's worth, I'm becoming aware of this for the first time now too. I've always liked the design a lot, but I guess I never spent enough time just looking at the design long enough to figure it out.

Me again. Just realised that Kamen Rider Drake's entire right arm armor is a dragonfly tail. So basically from right arm to left shoulder its a huge dragonfly. Mind blown.

Oh yeah, one of the reason why Kabuto is one of my favorites. Story is not the greatest because of THOSE THAT SHALL NOT BE NAMED but at the least the designs and concepts are by far the best renditions of insects in a super hero show.

Kabuto's designs really are the apex of having "oh huh, that's neat" moments the more you look at them.

Something I never noticed is that the non-gear pieces on the Engine and Remocon Bro's heads are literally exaggerated designs for an Engine and Remote Controller. Somehow that completely flew over my head.

Kamen Rider Tsukuyomi shares traits with the other 3 Riders in Zi-O:
* Zi-O II's standy-by transformation sound
* Ridewatch is dated "2068" like Geiz's
* Rider name repeats itself in the transformation announcement, like Woz's.

And all three of those Riders were present and/or contributed to her debut.

Kamen Rider Ghost's forms are based on a Japanese funeral:
-Ore Damashii is based on 通夜 (tsuya, lit. 'passing the night') which is held ASAP after death. Everyone wears black. Ore Damashii is black.
-Toucon Damashii is based on cremation.
-Mugen Damashii is based on a shrine, I think? I dunno, I'm going to need some help here.
