JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Maybe this is the right place to ask this. I think I'm finally going to sell all of my US Gundam DVD's. Does anyone think they'd be worth listing on ebay or just taking to a used DVD store? I just don't know what to do with them. I figured it's finally time to upgrade to torrents of all these shows since I don't really need the discs anymore. Here's what I've got

Just watched the first three episodes of Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu and my thoughts are mixed. The first episode was utterly hilarious (especially the second segment), the second less so but still funny and the third pretty forgettable (save for Sousuke's encounter with the cook). I hope there isn't a pattern emerging.

I've been watching Sword Art Online and got caught up with Hunter X Hunter last night(Greed Island!)

Now on the second part of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. So glad to see this arc finally get animated. Also still keeping up with the new Hunter x Hunter.

Ended up stalling Btooom! half way through. Really don't like the direction it's going and it looks like Taira (who is the only reason I started watching it ) is going to be tossed aside in favour of our other two main characters...

Finished watching My Bride is a Mermaid a few weeks back.Thought it was romance,way off base.Never laughed so hard in my life.Right now it's a mix.Rewatching Naruto(been a few years),Fullmetal Alchemist so I can understand the plot and story this time,and Fairy Tail every friday.Also trying to keep tabs on Toriko.

Just finished up Chuu2, loved it. It was generally a lot cleaner than most other shows of the genre, and the protagonist didn't just become the outlandish female lead's plaything. Good stuff.
I think I'll work on finishing Nichijou now, alongside Gekiranger.

Finished FMP? Fumoffu, and it was pretty dire. It has its moments of brilliance, but the episodes themselves are pretty generic and forgettable. Will give The Second Raid a go once I've rewatched Power Rangers in Space.

I just watched the finale for Hayate no Gotoku: Can't Take My Eyes Off You. I will watch it again once the the group who subbed the other seasons gets to it.

I finished AKB0048 the other day. I liked it, and I really want a Figuarts Nagisa in her battle outfit. I mean Figuart ZEROs are nice, but I want something poseable (no I don't own te Figuart ZEROs) and toys of ome of the robots would be nice, as would a toy of their ship...oh man come on Bandai! You have the license! But, considering the way they treat other things that Kawamori made...*sigh*

Finished watching the latest episode of Robotic Notes. The plot thickens and we are finally getting into some heavy Alan Moore-ish end of the world conspiracy stuff. Got to say this is my favorite anime of this season!

I just caught up with what's out of Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo. I kinda hate Shiina, which is bad, considering the entire show is about her. But I still have to watch because Aoyama is perfect.

Finished Sword Art Online and now on to Nekomonogatari Kuro.

Started and finished Sword Art Online over the last week. Really wish I listened to myself and stopped at the end of episode 14. Everything after that point is unnecessary garbage. First 14 episodes are quite enjoyable and thankfully makes a complete story all on it's own. This was clearly meant to be only one season, but extented to 2 with a horribly half assed story. Oh, and the incest. They had to bring incest into it. Goddamnit, Japan.

Eitherway, I do highly recommand the first 14 episodes of SAO if you can live with the death game MMO gimmick (which I think is explained very well).

Watching Oreimo. Almost done with it. Pretty good so far! What do you guys think?

I wasn't as crazy about that show as a lot of other people seem to be. The characters were all really boring aside from Kyosuke and Kirino. Ayase especially annoyed me just for how little purpose she had, other than continuing the dumb sis-con jokes. Kirino herself also lacked much redeeming factor beyond being Kyosuke's sister. That guy sacrificed way too much of his own time for his sister's eroge addiction.

I have to agree with you there. There's a fine line between a good Tsundere and a Jerkass Tsundere. Kirino is definitely the latter, as she's not only a bitch but a pervert too.

I doubt it counts since it's manga, but I just started to read Negima and I'm liking it so far. Then again I do like Ken Akumasu's work.

Mustered the free time to watch the Tamako Market pilot. Fabulous. I'm going to love this show. The pervert bird can go away and come back as Nichijou's Sakamoto if he'd like, but beyond that, great. The characters are all lovable.

Just started watching Blood-C, and I just figured out what the "C" stands for.

Excellent to hear. I've got that on my watch list for this season, along with Vivired Operation and the remainder of Robotics;Notes.

About to start watching Full Metal Panic! The Second Barrage too.

Now that One Piece is back from filler crap I watched the last few episodes, and episode 13 of Robotics;Note, JoJo's and HunterXHunter. Feels good to be all caught up with the weeklies.

That annoys me with alot of his work. One Peice, Bleach. Massive filler between story arcs, and even during them.

All Shonen Jump animes seem to have this problem because Shonen Jump wants to capitalize on them while the manga is still ongoing. There's a need for filler, but no one wants filler. There's a number of ways to do filler and none of them are particularly good. Weather it's DBZ's nothing's happening filler, Naruto's 3 years of pointless filler, or Bleach's interrupting the middle of a fight for 20 episodes filler, no one is happy with it.

I'm just happy Bleach seems to be going the Inuyasha route where the show ends before the manga and leaving open for a finale anime (with little/no filler) once the manga is done.

Honestly, I just hope Bleach and Naruto have Kai versions already planned for after the mangas are over. DBZ Kai made DBZ watchable again.

Speaking of, since I have access to Crunchyroll between classes this semester, I've picked Bleach back up once I realized I only had 70ish episodes left (some of which is filler I'll be skipping).

Finished Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid. After 2 disappointing seasons, it was great to see everything come together for the third. Great development of the old characters, great new characters, great plot and sharper visuals. The only thing letting it down was how many loose ends there were.

Since Blade Raider told me it was great, he has permission to say "I told you so" :lol

Weekly-wise I'm still keeping up with Robotics;Notes (which is fantastic), and Tamako Market is off to a good start. No idea why I'm watching Vividred Operation though, because the first two episodes were abysmal.

I know it's needed, but I don't have to like it. That's why I have Naruto, Bleach, One Peice, all on DVD. I skip the filler. And no on the Kai idea. I don't want my anime butchered and censored thanks.

DBZ Kai was only censored for tv wasn't it? The dvd/blu-ray releases were uncensored.

They 4kids.tv'd it for television. But the DVD's weren't Kai. They were a straight-up release of every episode.

Eh? Kai was definitely released on DVD as a separate entity to the original DBZ boxsets.

They were? Meh. No thank you, I bought the originals because I hate when people censor my stuff.

The DVDs have no censors on them. They are exactly what Japan got plus dub. Any changes made are mostly for the better. It's closer to the manga and cuts a ton of the BS out. Also, it corrected some errors like Vegata's colors.

And the only real censor in Kai (Piccolo's Makansapalopolis or whatever drilling through Raditz and Goku having much less blood) was present in the Japanese version, too.

I went ahead and watched the two episodes of Kotoura-san that have come out so far.

That was certainly a lot more soul-crushing than I'd expected. I love how everything just shattered into slice of life anime though. That was interesting.

I also caught up on Sakurasou. I still don't really like it that much. I think I'll end up dropping this show for something else.

I also tried two episodes of Sword Art Online on multiple recommendations, but I'm not feeling it too much. Maybe it's because I can't stand the bulk of RPG's.

Been snowed in at my sister's house with nothing to do but watch Crunchyroll. A Bleach marathon ensued. I watched episodes 300-350 (skipping about 30 episodes of filler). I forgot how quick this show can get while marathoning. You can eaily skip the first 4ish and last 3ish mins of most episodes plus the seemingly endless amount of half clip shows. Crap like that in addition to th filler episodes is why I want a Kai version so bad. It flows so much better.

Regardless, I'm just happy to be finally done with that arc to lasted about 5-6 years and took place over about a day in fiction. I was having Frieza flashbacks at one point. Only have about 20 episodes left. If I'm still stuck here tomorrow, I might finish the show.

PS Meanwhile, I'm so far behind on Naruto that trying to pick it back up kind of scares me.

Ive been watching a little bit of Eureka 7. I also finished watching OREIMO!!!! :D Cant wait for the second season!

This man speaks the truth. But then don't watch AO. Nobody deserves to be put through that.

Eureka Seven being my favorite anime of all time I only have this to say... I liked AO.

Why? I'm genuinely curious, because Eureka Seven is one of my favourite animes of all time and that's why I didn't like. It was a massive middle finger to anyone who followed either series.

I thought that the characters were enjoyable, the new Nirvash was badass, the music was good, and the animation was absolutely beautiful. But it's Bones so what do you expect? It's not Psalms of Planets but hey I didn't expect it to be. Also it's better than Pocket Full of Rainbow/Goodnight Sleep Tight Young Lovers, now that's a middle finger to the original series.

One more thing, if you were disappointed by AO, go watch Lagrange: the Flower of Rin-ne. Need some motivation? Here's the opening!
