So far I haven't sold any, aside from a couple of the DCvsMOTU 2-packs (which is really unlike me, as I often do get bored of certain lines and end up selling off some of the lesser figures). I'm still trying to be a completist on MOTUC, but also buying SHMA is really hurting my wallet :)

I can relate. I was using your blog for all my DC universe news and it seemed like we both lost interest at the same time. Now I've shifted focus to S.h.figuarts and yeah, it can really take its toll on cash flow.

I don't have any MonsterArts yet and was contemplating buying Godzilla. If we get confirmation of a remake in the Burning Godzilla mold I may have to wait because the added articulation just looks phenomenal.

I've gotten several with no regrets! This has become my favorite line. I am wondering the direction they will go after Destroyah is made (yeah, I know its not official but you know its coming). I would love to see the Millenium series come out as G2k is my favorite suit and I would love to have Kiryu posed on a shelf as well.

As for a rerelease who knows... they did move the dorsal fins a bit but from what everyone says, Burning is larger than the regular 90's Godzilla.

I have a feeling they'll stick with Heisei era a bit longer before changing which Era they are working on. After all, we still need Mothra, regular Rodan, Battra, Mecha-King Ghidorah, and Biolante(which did well on that poll Bluefin did a few months back IIRC).

All kidding aside if Bandai manages to get the rights for any Yu-Gi-Oh stuff, I'd like to see it show up either in MonsterArts or D-Arts or a combination of both. Yugi and Kaiba? Figuarts for sure. Black Magician/Buster Blader would be a nice fit in D-Arts, BEWD and UBEWD would be right at home in MonsterArts.

I'm not going to go into a in depth review this round as he's been covered by other collectors already.

Even though he's not my favorite design, I'm glad Tamashii finished up the characters from GvSG. The spaces aren't as bad between the joints when they are moved than what some pictures suggest. Still wish Little G had some neck articulation (I know. He didn't have it in the movie).
Btw, my daughter says he is creepy looking. :lol:
I'm actually liking the crystal display that came with him too. I just wish there were more crystals to create a bigger diorama around Space Godzilla. I'll have to hunt around to see if anybody wants to sell their crystals.

Now, I just need to grab Fire Rodan to be up to date before the big guy shows up next month! Can't wait.

Wonderful review.

I was going to skip this one at first because I didn't think it was going to be more than a simple repaint. You've sold me on him now.

$64.99 is clearly the official MSRP so not too bad. For now the exchange rate at the usual suspects puts Kong at $47 to $48 plus shipping, so it's almost even whichever way you go.

Space Godzilla - He is pretty awesome. The sculpt is amazing, but I am going to nitpick in that I don't like how loose his legs and tail pieces are. It just feels like they are going to spin off even though I know they want. I do love the posseability though, but I hate how the stand piece keeps popping out of the hole on the crystal base. Outside of those thing, this figure rocks. BTW, I cannot even look at my Bandai Creation vinyl of him anymore. It just looks so... pitiful. I'll probably be giving it away in our next anime meet-up group dinner.

MechaGodzilla - This one is probably my least favorite of the four I have. Overall, he is cool, but I have issues with him. First off, his legs are loose, extremely loose. I'm pretty sure it is due to the weight of the die-cast in the feet, but whenever I lift him up, his thigh joints just droop downward. The other issue I have is I feel like I am going to break him whenever I take his head and tail off to put him into the flying pose due to how much force I need to get them off. I also wished he had a better range of motion in his arms, but whatever. Now I need to some day get Garuda to complete him.

Ghidorah - Despite him having A LOT of parts that look like they can easily get broken, he is my favorite of the bunch. I just love how massive he is. I can definitely see why people hate the wings however, as my left one is not properly placed on his body, so it is kind of stuck at an upward angle. It doesn't look like it is broken, however, so that is a good thing. However, I'm also afraid to really touch the wings because of the hinges breaking outside of moving his wings to be against his back so I could fit him in my display case. I love that he has the three lightning bolts, but man were they a pain to get him in the case with the bolts on the stand. I had no problems with them until then. It's mostly the head farther from my reach that gives me an issue. However, I know the moment I move him, I will never get those things back the way they are in the picture again. Nevertheless, I love this guy. Now I'm really starting to feel that I need to get that Godzilla just for the sake of it being Godzilla. Hopefully I can hold out a little longer to see if they are going to do a different version of him.

Lastly, due to the size of Ghidorah, I'm not sure I am going to get Destoroyah. Not because Destoroyah won't be a great figure, but because I don't think I'm going to have room to fit him into my display case, especially if he is just as big or bigger than Ghidorah.

Looks awesome. I just picked King Ghidorah up with a coupon from Sideshow Collectibles this week. I opened him today and you can imagine my disappointment when one of his tails just fell off.

I've tried to squeeze it back on, but I'm not having any luck. Are there any suggestions for fixing it?

Use a blowdryer to soften the plastic on the joint, than try popping it back in while the plastic is more maleable. Chosen pointed this out to me in the TFW MonsterArts thread and it worked like a charm.
