The morpher is all one colour. That is not subjective. The morpher lacks any discernable details outside the swirl pattern that encompasses the whole thing. That is not subjective.

It is objectively less detailed than the original morpher. It has no colour seperation, no clear details outside a surface pattern. It lacks visual interest outside of the coins. In fact, were it not for the fact that it had to resemble the functionality of the original morpher in some way, I doubt it'd even have that as a focal point.

Yeah those are facts, but it's still subjective that it's boring as fuck as you put it. I don't happen to find it boring at all. Does it have less detail than the OG sure, but this isn't meant to be that. I'm happy that it's a different thing. Again, you don't like it and that's fine. However how you feel isn't gospel. It's that simple, no need to get worked up about it.

My ire was directed at the simplicity of the gimmick, not you. The spinning gimmick is really damn small, and given how it's not especially easy to see the animals in the coins anyway, I can't imagine it'll look all that impressive in action.

Again, given the design, you think the natural gimmick would be an apeture closing/opening. I even thougth that's what it'd do, but looking carefully at the sculpting, it looks like it's one solid part, sculpted to look like it can close.

That's no excuse for replying to others in such a harsh tone. And no, it doesn't matter whether or not your frustration is pointed toward a person or an object. A condescending reply is condescending either way, and I don't think I'm being overly sensitive when I suggest that your language and severity is a little unnecessary.

Actually, looking back at what I actually wrote, it does come across more foul then what I intended, so I am sorry it seems so personal. I never meant it more than a bit of sarcasm directed at the product and certainly not meant to be antagonistic towards anyone, which it certainly seems more like reading my posts in order. I wasn't really paying attention to my choice of words like I should have been and apologise for that.

The lack of paint detail just means I've got more work cut out for me if I intend to pick this guy and the others up. And you all know me, CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.

Well, maybe not. The prices and size of these guys both exceed my bank account (at the moment) and my shelf space :lol. Maybe just the morpher for me.

That makes more sense. Looking at it the other way, it was giving me Pteragordon vibes. But now I can see that if it's actually backwards, the front of the head would have more of the classic horned look.

I know that the head stows away underneath it. But looking at the T-Rex itself, this is how my mind is imagining it coming apart to combine. The blue thing on the side looks like it becomes the center of the chest (ala the blue chest triangles of the movie costumes) Any other thoughts?

I could see the tail becoming a weapon, the legs of the Dino becoming part of the Megazord legs, the gun arms reattaching onto the shoulders of the robot, and a chest plate covering up the holes in the front of the torso. I just don't know where the head of the T-Rex goes. Maybe it becomes one of the hands, Beast Wars Megatron style?

Also see the buttons I think those are to release both the tail and head sections.

Man. What happened to Bandai of America's quality lately? I realize that a lot of these are probably just retail versions and there'll be premium stuff coming down the pipe (I hope), but if this is all the movie toys are going to be then.. meh. That said, the teaser did turn out a lot better than I was expecting. Still not a fan of Rita's look, but everything else looks okay for the most part.

I've hated the direction Megazord toys have gone ever since zord builder. And to an extent going back to when they stopped just bringing over identical figures to the originals sans the occasional diecast or electronics.

That's kind of where I am right now. The fact that there is less paint on this then even the Dino Charge Megazord and costs $10 more is pretty much an automatic "nope". I'd be willing to buy individual Zords at $45 a pop...but they better be painted diecast metal BoJ style figures. I mean, the Legacy Falconzord is only $15 more and makes this look like a piece of junk.
