I'm not sure if other sites are doing this but I felt i was worth mentioning that, for those of you who are interested in the Ryutsueider, CSToys has the option to ship the toy without its box. I heard the box was pretty big so I thought it was worth mentioning.

But since ohguma is considered a power up like Pegasus I'm guessing it will be a campaign |
Ooguma is a campaign item, but it's not with any DX Voyager. You only get it with KyurenOh, RyuteiOh, or by buying the Ryu and Ooguma & Koguma Voyagers together. So yeah...not an easy one.

Also I think ohguma is gonna be used where he will use koguma most of the time but will go big maybe to ohguma to fight major battles with the Kyuranger in adult form but that's my guess otherwise campaign for this makes no sense if it will be important |
After my experience with the Pegasus Campaign, I'm just going to order Ooguma through a middleman. Buying Kyu the Weapon from CStoys vs HLJ cost nearly ten bucks more, plus I had to pay for that shipping right there rather than using Private Warehouse (which I still haven't had to ship anything out yet) Just cheaper to go the middleman route.

HLJ usually were good with campaigns like the Ex Aid Eyecon or Proto mighty action x Gashat but with the Kyuranger promos I think something went wrong or changed from the norm as HLJ couldn't run Pegasus as they weren't going to be given enough and CS didn't know till practically last minute as shown through posts here so I'm not sure if terms have changed to make it less "online" |

At the end of day the campaigns are more frustrating than pleasing as for overseas customers it's pretty much the Toku version of the lottery lol |

Pegasus was apparently conceived as a brick and mortar store promotion only. At least that's what Amazon Japan said in their response. I'll probably go the middleman route again myself. I'm not sure how many more of the DX Voyagers I'll be grabbing and fighting it out just doesn't seem worth it. It's really going to depend on how the campaign plays out, honestly. |
Quote:
Kyuranger is my first ever foray In to Sentai mecha so I'll keep going with the Voyagers to see the experiment through As for the middlemen route, some people who like me have never strayed outside of HLJ or CS will find the middleman route a little daunting so I'm not sure if it's worth it for something like the Kyutama If the Campaigns are being made more to encourage Brick and Mortars I'm fine with that but I'd like them to at least announce it as such so we are not all emailing stores trying to find out whose doing what each time it comes around I mean this may sound stupid but they must know people outside of Japan go for these things right? |
Quote:
As for announcing the details of the campaigns, I expect that it's probably in one of the advertisements for the darn things somewhere. It might even be direct, in-store promotional materials. I'm sure the intended market gets the details they need. |

In the words of Shou Ronbou... 'Kyulette the Chance'!... Sorry, I just had to work that in and I couldn't figure out any other way.

Mandarake Fukuoka had a Pegasus Kyutama added a few minutes ago at ¥800. As of this post it's still there if anyone is interested.

And I have to say that site is the most confusing I have ever seen and I still have zero clue with it lol I need a guide for dummies If it wasn't for your link I'd be doomed :) So hopefully Pegasus on the way unless I botched it lol |
The full 3rd quater catalog's pictures are now available.

Just gonna copy what I posted on RB about these.
My spaceballs finally came in. https://i.gyazo.com/3e6ce069167d9e6f...ec9231b52c.png And with my Kyutama being delivered, I gotta give a shoutout and full recommendation to the place I got them from, auc-toysanta on Rakuten. Their prices are extremely reasonable, especially for the full assortments of SG/Gasha, the shipping is quick, neatly packaged, and even comes with a classy thank-you card. Full marks to this seller. As for the Kyutama themselves, they're very nice! They look great on display, especially when a lot of them are together. They're great both before and after Mawa Sliding, and the dark stickers don't even bother me as much as I thought they would. The only thing really holding back my display is the limited colors I have, but hopefully Kani will help alleviate that a little once my DX sets come in (though the doubling of the blues may not help). My only real issue, though I don't know what I was actually expecting tbh, is that the symbols don't really line up perfectly after the Mawa Slide on most of them. They're off by at least a little. On most it's not a big deal or too noticeable, though still unfortunate, but it's pretty distracting on a few. My Perseus is just fucked up. But they're still pretty great. These are all SG, but I also got an extra Gashapon Andromeda so I could compare. Now I wish I had gotten one with brighter colors, but it still did its job. You can barely tell the difference in the plastic, even the colors look pretty much the same, though the Gashapon does seem to have marginally (and I do mean marginally) sharper molding. The Gashapon's sticker also looks better. On the globes, though...I'm not sure if you can really see it in this picture (it's not great), but the SG has noticeably better printing on the globe stuff. Probably best seen in the top right, the two bits that make her hair. In the Gasha they're more bunched up and indistinct, while the SG is crisper and more intricately shaped. That's pretty much how it is. The Gasha has smoother shapes that look a little blown up, and a lot of the little details seem lost. The location of the picture is also fairly off, though, as I mentioned, it's not like that's exclusive to the Gasha. I only have the one to compare, so who knows if it's just a dud, but since the globes are what I focus on I do think the SGs edge out the Gashas for me. So that's good. Also I just took my Andromedas apart, and the Gashapon was a fucking chore. In addition to the four screws, there's a pin in the middle of the "arm" keeping them together, and it was much harder to separate the Gasha than then SG. Again, only one data point, so maybe just a dud, but still, not earning any points. But yeah, these are cool. Looking forward to getting a lot more. |
So the full details of the new Kyutama campaign are out
The campaign starts April 30th You have to buy one of three things Kyuren-oh Ryutei-oh Or Ryu and Kogami Voyager in the same order Bandai apparently have said this is the one and only chance for this kyutama, they won't be rereleasing in other forms I haven't seen a mention if preorders count for this as I preordered option number 3 already Both the Voyagers and Complete set are released April 30th as well So CS confirmed taking part in the campaign No idea about anyone else so time to chase up the other stores early and hopefully not end up with another scramble like Pegasus was :) |

So although they have no idea of quantity, I would assume all stores know today if they are going to go for it or not But for now all I know is CS is confirmed If anyone else contacts HLJ or anyone else and gets responses we can keep a running list for people of whose in or out as the 30th approaches |

You were asking about the Kyutama Roulette right, Orphan51? Well I found a review for it. I'm not interested in it but it looks like a cute little toy none the less. I love the song it plays though and the little dance Shou does. |
Quote:
Sadly even with the Kyutama I can't find a reason justifying that lol Unless a Toku casino opens up, this one is a miss sadly |

My dilemma was if I was essientially paying for a Kyutama and a glorified lottery machine or Something worth having and despite the Kyutama I just can't imagine me buying it Although it does do more than what I expected so well done to them for that but I do think maybe this should have stayed in the show rather than the toy line |
THat Kyutama....IT'S THE SAIKO KYUTAMA!!! Or at the very least, some rendition of it.

My Pegasus Kyutama arrived :)
It's a weird one so I'm not sure how long it will stick around with me but big thanks to Thessair for the heads up about it |

Kyutama #36 and #40 are now mine! #40 is definitely my favorite of the two. I love how long its name and the sound it makes. It sounds so angelic. I've also got Kyutama checklists. It show Kyutama 1-9, 20-26, 36-43, and 45. Guess they can't show off all the Kyutama *too* early.

RyuTeiOh doesn't look too bad but its combination with KyurenOh is just lazy. Its just the RyuTeiOh on its tippy toes behind KyurenOh. I mean really? They could do more with the Ryu Voyager. I just hope the grand combination for this season does it better. The ONLY good thing I can say about the combination is that its just RyuTeiOh using Lucky as a shield.
