Was browsing Mandarake and saw that one of their stores had all of the Akibarangers for cheap. Couldn't resist. Ate up the savings by shipping EMS though. Sick of RSAL!

Dang, hook me up or something, I could use a few. Also, I'm about two more twitter posts about Fall of Cybertron from buying it. Unfortunately, it's normally 12am-2am when I can play games, MST, so I don't think anybody I know is available to play at that time.

This is the first game I purchased new, since my first daughter was born, over 6 years ago, when I got Hitman: Blood Money. Like, seriously, it came out the day she was born and I picked it up on the way to the hospital to see my wife her second day there.

At least this one also includes the first game, which I never got around to buying.

Can't wait till I have time to put it on tonight.

Oh man the first game was really awesome. Id say FOC is close quality wise. They definitely stepped up the multilayer, which was the big selling point for me.

I wasn't entirely sure when I ordered it. It's something called a Hyper Hero Action Doll. Basically they're 8" poseable standard bodies that come with costumes and accessories that you cut and shave down to fit the figure. It's sort of like a model kit. I'm not very good at it and still haven't figured out how to attach his cape but it's okay. Kind of like a poor mans Project BM or Real Action Hero

Nice! Hyper Hero is a great substitute for Medicoms 12". Can you take some pictures of Aka red when you're done ?

You're correct! Akaranger is the leader for Goranger, which is the Hyper Hero figure there. Aka Red is the 30th anniversary sentai fellow who was also in Gokaiger.

The quality isn't too bad. The plastic is just a bit cheaper than I'd like it be. I finished building him last night although there was NO indication as to how to attach the cape. There's literally nothing included in the box that can be used to attach it. The 2-sided adhesive tape it comes with isn't nearly strong enough to hold it on. I wound up using a sewing needle to hold it. Otherwise it's a decent figure. I'll snap some pictures of him.
