That's actually really surprising; wasn't expecting to see it so soon and with the leak name I fully expected it to be a two-pack of MMPR Blue and another Psycho.

But this is encouraging; this is the first ranger we've seen that's not MMPR, a Red or a Sixth/Extra. And it's a Psycho that's an exclusive. At this rate I wonder what the chances are of us seeing all the Psychos by the end of year 2...

Is there a list anywhere to count what's already been released and where? Because I'm aleady losing track of all the different exclusives.

Weird that we're getting the Psychos before any In Space rangers.

It sorta makes sense. They're the most iconic villains in the franchise after Zedd, Rita and Goldar.

And yeah, it's looking like they're really trying to round out the Psycho Rangers and I couldn't be happier. Psycho Black is probably inevitable at this point. Hoping they don't pull a BoA and we actually get the girls, too.

You know I totally get that female figures don't sell well; which makes sense why toy makers and retailers would get cold feet. What I don't get though is why not pair them with popular figures? MMPR Pink should be paired with MMPR Green instead of the later paired with a putty. I have a feeling that's what Hasbro did with Lost Galaxy Red as they probably think it wouldn't sell as well alone as it would paired with Psycho Red. If they want these figures to sell they have to come up with a pairing/accessory that makes it necessary to buy the girls to have one or two of the guys/villain/combining weapons in order to have a complete set. It's unfortunate that's the type of society we live in but companies looking to make money have to consider the market. Not just the niche collectors that want all rangers and villains and would be willing to buy the female rangers separately.

I could see Yellow and Pink because all the Psychos are just recolours, and if they're this committed already I think we'll see all five (six? seven?) before 2020 ends. Same for the Beast Morphers, actually.

the psycho rangers should all the same buck the yellow and pink didnt look more feminine than the rest of the team unless you count the color being so which i dont, maybe the pink is a tad shorter but this is hasbro if u look at the female ML figures most the females are taller then the males so its easy use male bucks for the whole team.

Well that's certainly a little disappointing. This definitely looks like one of those figures where it's a case of the quality being directly proportional to how well you can pose; if you get her in a good pose she looks amazing, but other poses show off significant flaws all too well. I'm especially put off by how the upper torso articulation has far too big a gap; other figures have a lot more lower torso inside the upper to avoid that issue.

I think this is also where Lightning Collection's staunch dedication to providing only one extra pair of hands is really starting to show its downsides. It was excusable before when you only needed one holding hand each and the other two could be fists or whatever; but with an archer character there's specific needs with what types of hands they need, and it's clear that they done it in half-measure to accommodate both the bow and the gun while also not putting as much thought into the arrow-holding hand as they needed. It certainly doesn't help matters that for some reason they continue to include a useless pointless 'chop' hand which has extremely limited posing potential and is in place of a hand which could have been useful for the bow and arrow.

This is not only a massive step-up from Legacy as always, but also impressively able to stand alongside the Figuarts in terms of quality; but there are some very significant flaws here that I'm not happy to see. A bit more thought into the figure would have gone a long way here. I'm still getting this figure and it's still one of the figures I most want from the line so far, but I'm certainly a lot less excited than I was from stock photos.

That's like saying a McDonald's cheeseburger is able to stand alongside a beef wellington made by Gordon Ramsey because those both have beef and bread.

The Lightning Collection figures are decent for what they are, but as far as quality goes, they are a far cry from Figuarts.

And yet I probably wouldn't be able to tell you the difference between a cheeseburger and a beef wellington :p

Looking at them side by side I still think the Lightning Collection figure looks pretty impressive. As the reviewer said it'd be easy to mistake one for the other if you didn't know the exact details off by heart.

Comparing the Lightning Collection to a SS Kamen Rider Figuart, you might be right. Sentai Figuarts aren't that great, though. Yeah, they're a bit better than the Lightning Collection, but not by that much.

That's a really good point, and I was definitely thinking SS Rider Figuarts. I don't own any Sentai Figuarts, but I own a couple Ultraman Figuarts and while definitely better than LC Ranger Figures, the gap in quality is much narrower.

I'll be brutally honest with you.
I have 3 Sentai Figuarts and the headsculpt is good but I never had any fun posing them compared to the Kamen Rider line ( SS included) or even Dragon Ball or Star Wars.

They are "good" but dated objectively. But I hate them, I hate them because of how tiny they are, because of some of the articulations that are badly done. The shoulder pads on the White Ranger that are like the ones you have on Dragon Ball figuarts, these are horrendous.
The Dragon Shield limiting the shoulder and the whole arm movement is another default of the figuarts.
And last thing, the shoulder as a whole with the "floating piece" if you see what I'm talking about...that wasn't really useful to do that...

I can't wait to get the White Ranger, Zedd and the Gold Ranger...too bad that I live in Belgium....

He doesn't seem to come with the flute dagger, but I don't believe he used that in the show? Aside from that he more or less comes with everything he needs, so that's cool.

So, out of MMPR Season 1, we have Red Ranger w/Dragon Shield, Green Ranger w/Dragon Shield (stating the obvious here) and soon, Black Ranger with Dragon Shield.

Can't wait to see what an MMPR LC figure looks like without Dragon Shield and bicep cuffs. Although, and even though it didn't happen on the show, I wouldn't be entirely against seeing a Billy figure with Dragon Shield.

In all seriousness, just find it odd that out of the male MMPR figures we're getting they're all in dragon shields. Makes sends, why waste the bicep cuff mold on just one guy, right?

It makes sense when you consider that all of them are exclusives. For exclusives you'd want something that's not a 'standard' ranger fans would expect in a normal wave; but something that's still popular enough to actually sell -- Dragon Shield MMPRs are probably the perfect middle ground.

... then again, standard Lost Galaxy Red is an exclusive...

Am I the only one annoyed that the MMPR figures arent coming with holstered versions of the blade blaster? It was in the SDCC 2 pack but Pink MMPR doesn't have it and neither does the Black MMPR with Dragon Sheild.

I would much rather the blade or more hands. The holstered version is... probably the lowest priority accessory.

I also find this unreasonably irritating. It means the figures won't *look* right on display, and seems like a weird choice when clearly a lot of effort has been put into show accuracy in these figures.
