Looks like a black and white comic

Just because the back ground looks like it, doesn't mean that's their motif. It could just be a place holder.
Btw I saw a thing saying "Collect the Mashin Parts" so I guess that's their gimick? And Sentai might have only 26 episodes now. |
It just looks like a normal building to me.
|
So it begins. *starts eating popcorn*
But based on what I am seeing the gemstone stuff seems more of a possibility because of how the top of the helmet is shaped like one. |
Kirameiger is a 5 Ranger team and it might have 2 girls on it.

Those silhouettes look promising, though in general I'm always a fan of shoulder pad armour. At least how Cross-Z and Lightning Hornet pull it off.
|
2020s is the next decade for shoulder pads. I just know it.

Is it me, or do some of silhouettes visors kind of look like Ryuki's

That sparkly background also could point towards gems, or maybe shiny metal (which could go with the "mashin = machine" theory).
Or of course it could just be sparkly for the sake of shiny new toys. |
So I just took another look at the silhouettes of Kirameiger, there's a gap between the 3 on the right and the 2 on the left, the 3 on the right might be a team by themselves before the 2 on the left show up and they are together as well, also I noticed that the Ranger in the middle looks further back then the ones of their right and left, those 2 are the ones in the front, and those are the 2 that look like they are girls.

*sitting on bench eating popcorn* So any new rumors or finds other than there will be a core-five team and their heads remind me of Kamen Rider Wizard?
|
There's a split between the five on the scan. So, some Go-Onger and Go-On Wings stuff I guess?
|
'Split' teams does seem somewhat popular recently, even when the team's fully united. Ryusoulger's Red/Blue/Pink is a 'core' team while Green/Black (and sometimes Gold) are a secondary one; the Kyurangers were constantly put into grabbag teams doing different missions before they also decided to go for the versus format in their V-cinema; and then of course the entire point of Lupinranger vs. Patranger was two separate teams of rangers. Even all the toys recently have gotten in on the action -- all the mechas have had a large focus on interchangeability, and for the most part the 'Auxiliary' mecha aspect has been replaced by just different team members controlling it.
I wonder if it's something they've found to be working out for them. It does make sense -- separate teams is a good way to create some sort of source of conflict, especially if there's different ways of doing things between them ie early Ryusoulger Green/Black. It also allows each member to be more easily identifiable and stand out if they're members of smaller 2/3-team factions rather than one larger 5/6-team one, and that can easily be played up in a variety of ways for toy sales. Personally I like the idea a fair bit, and would not be surprised at this rate to see it continue in Kirameiger. |
This color combination reminds the heraldry.

I wonder if they'll keep using the not-Lego connection system from Ryusoulger or go back to more conventional combining.

If the toy-sales for Ryusoulger have been fairly steady, then there is a possibility they will stick with the principle concept. However, there is the risk of monotony and making a new thing with an old concept! Repeating the "Lego Gattai" system could showcase a clear lack of creativity and ultimately bore kids by flooding the market with "same old, same old". I would do an amalgamation of the two depending on the market: capitalize on the success of Ryusoulger (if the market supports calling the Mecha sales a success) without mimicking it precisely. Create a system that echoes the mix-and-match aspect of LEGOs, without actually looking like "THE SYSTEM" (small nod to The Toys That Made Us)! |
So it seems that we will be getting some new info VERY soon. What is everyone's final verdict for their prediction? I for one would like to think machinery powered by magic.

I predict the collectibles with be crystals or jewels of some kind. |

This list has been circling a few places; so far authenticity has not been confirmed but it would be in line with expectations.

I'd doubt it if only because Toei are already doing a series where the gimmick item is 'keys'. Granted it's a pretty broad definition and could easily be very differently functionally from Zero-One's Progrise Keys, but I doubt they'd use the same word.
|
So Kirameiger is Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, and Pink.

Another sentai powered by crystals like Ohranger, in Power rangers version will be called crystal force.
