It all takes up quite a lot of space! It's so close to being a complete collection, just need a few more figures I listed in a previous post. Someday I'll get around to finishing it, but for now Mandarake shipping is a bit prohibitively expensive for such tiny boxes

That is a legendary collection. Great work! I can't even imagine how long it took to get all of those pieces. Do you think you'll try and do the same thing for Zero-One, go line-complete?

Side note, I try to only keep boxes that can safely store the figure (RKF, Figuarts, etc). I use a tupperware thing for SO DO and Shodo.

Planning on it, yeah. It's been a lot easier and cheaper so far, no need to buy the whole case of 12, the complete set gets you one of everything plus enough bodies for all the armor. AI4 is a slight exception, not including a spare Metal Build to make Dai So-Do style RabbitTank or RabbitRabbit Hazard, but those were alternate accessories really, not the main figure. So long as Zero-One doesn't do anything like that wave of Zi-O with legend Rider armors but no armored Zi-O bodies, buying all the complete sets should grt me everything so far. They even offered a complete set version of the mech and bike, while if I remember correctly with Zi-O you could only buy that as a large case.

I really should throw out all the boxes, I know. I think I've just got to take pictures of all of them first, doing that is what enabled me to throw out the huge shipping case from Unite Warriors Grand Galvatron

Wanted so share something by the way. I'm autistic, one of my quirks is that I'm obsessed with making lists. Thanks to the So-Do guy's weekly blog sharing information on wave layouts and side releases, I've been keeping a list of everything released for So-Do from Build onward, with both text and pictures, in order of release.
So-Do Waves

I wasn't into Rider yet during Ex-Aid, so I don't know anything about the wave layouts during that line, but if anyone knows where I can find info on everything that was released, I'd be happy to add it to the doc!

The Wiki's got a whole lot of info about the Ex-Aid series of SO-DO figs. (It's weird that I both know that, and never knew that a Nico figure got made. I am not a Perfect Puzzle!) Hope that helps!

I’m in a dilemma. Should I buy the entirety of SoDo 5 or just by Thouser by himself? I want to have a complete collection, but my budget is rather thinly stretched out by Earthrise and the touch ups to Siege. Thouser is an important show character while the rest are figures I don’t necessarily need.

If you're not interested in Zi-O, just get Thouser off Mandarake once the wave is out in Japan. It's what I'd think about doing if it wasnt for the fact that Amiami doesn't let you cancel preorders

So! Took about an hour and a half, and research from the Kamen Rider Wiki, Amiami, 1999.co.jp, Premium Bandai Taiwan, Tokullectables, and Youtube, but the list of all So-Do in mostly chronologial relase order with pictures is complete including Ex-Aid! Hopefully I've got the proper realese order of the P-Bandai Ex-Aid sets down correctly, but based off everything I've seen, I'm pretty sure I got it right! Here's the Google doc one more time! Hope this helps or at least is somewhat interesting!

Thanks, yeah I think that’s what I’m gonna but instead of Mandarake order it off TokuToyStore since it’s an actual store and not a marketplace type thing.

I looked it up, that site looks pretty cool. So-Do is definitely more expensive there though. Phantom Build is £12.99 there, equivalent to ¥1858, while Phantom Build is only ¥700 on Mandarake. Of course, unless you're buying multiple items, the shipping off the UK based site would probably be cheaper, and definitely faster, so overall I guess it's 50/50

Yo, as the person wh basically put the Wiki lists together, they should be complete and all-inclusive up to the end of Zi-O! I got really deep into it in Build (seriously, I almost went full completionist on it, think I just need the V-Cinema releases and Prime Rogue) and kept up the momentum by following the weekly Candy Toy Blogs. I haven't bought any in a while, as much as I've been wanting to- I own, like, 2 of the Zi-O sets and not even the one with Shinobi and Kikai - blame customs, and the shipping, and the bad exchange rate, but I still like seeing how the toyline goes.

And I'm glad to see people are finding the wiki useful!

I feel so bad that I haven't bought any of these since the ones I already have. I really just need the base Zero-One riders and select Build characters before it becomes a waiting game for Legacy Riders.

I went crazy back when Build was out and have massively cut back since, but yeah, I feel that. I went trawling through Mandarake yesterday and my brain was like "Hey wouldn't it be cool to buy Lightning Hornet? And wait for Den-O Wing to come back in stock?" It ain't good.

Mandarake is such a bad influence on me. I keep making carts and adding to favourites and forcing myself not to just splurge and buy them all from like four different stores.

But the currency conversion is so freaking bad these days.

I think the most difficult thing in collecting, and I don't know if it's just a thing with these tiny mans or an overall collecting thing, is taking the time to appreciate what you have rather than long for what you don't have. It's super easy with these tiny men to sticker one, put him on display, and be, like, What's Next. I'm not doing a great a job of pacing myself, of not racing to the next purchase, but I'm trying to be mindful that I'm not doing a great job.

I feel like I should get some program that redirects all Mandarake websites to a YouTube video of a tranquil beach, maybe have one visit per week before it bounces me back to that beach. I don't know. My impulse control is regrettable, is what I'm saying.

This is how I feel with collecting in general though maybe it's because once I add a figure to my collection and sometimes posed so that they all fit, I don't really want to mess with it anymore because it can be hard to repose the figures and I get lazy. lol. So I tend to "play" with my figures by doing a mini photoshoot with them before adding them to the display and rarely touching them again. Haha.

Yeah, So-Do aren't really posable enough to play around with much. I tend to keep them on the shelf in snazzy pose after I've stickered them up. I did have my Grease sitting on my desk during those couple of endgame Build episodes though.

AI4 arrived today, might have some time to open them up later today. Also placed an order on the Ride Plus wave on Mandarake. Hopefully the order goes through!

Surprised they didn't announce Barlckxs first, guess they'll be saving him for last. Not sure how they'd be able to fit them all in the same wave as Metal Cluster though. On all the complete sets so far, the price has been 440 yen per box. Assuming the price hasn't changed, that'd mean a complete set of AI 6 only has 7 boxes, and I don't thing Metal Cluster or any of the Quartzer trio could fit in a single box. Curious to see how the wave layout ends up.

I assume if Zonji is in a normal wave, so are the other two Quartzers (they could have been a sensible candidate for a Premium Bandai set, though I don't know how well it would sell)

Still find it pretty weird how Zi-O heavy the last few waves are. 4 had more Zero-One figures but because of Metal/Phantom Build was 50-50 on boxes and 5 is 3/4 Zi-O. If they give us the other Quartzers and/or Tsukuyomi, 6 might be too. Though a certain other Zero-One form might come soon enough to get in this wave.

We do know we’re getting Tsukuyomi and the other quartzers, but until Woz’s v cin form or whatever that’ll be us done with zi-o and the remaining waves will be full on Zero One (... and Woz), where they should catch up with Ikazuchi and Kangaroo.

I'm still eagerly waiting for Ichi-gata and 001. I love the look of both of the Winter movie suits

In that case, there's four Zero-One suits to catch up on; and all of them should fit very easily in future waves.

Kangaroo will probably be a Televi-kun exclusive. Pretty sure all the HBV suits that aren't released after the show's over have been. There's also one more suit they need to do, the spoiler one coming next episode

But if it was gonna be HBV, wouldn't it be out already? I thought the HBV had released?

And I know about that one (pretty excited); just saying which ones they've technically skipped ;)

I want so badly to get more Zero-One figs on Mandrake, but I know the final 3 OOO combs will be out soon and it makes more sense to get them and the Zero-One figs together.

The wiki doesn't seem to have the release date for previous HBVs, so I'm not sure what the time between the videos release and the figures release was previously. It's definitely possible Kangaroo will be a mainline release, it seems like Zero-One has less suits than Zi-O so it could use stuff to fill out the waves. And I get what you were saying on the second point now, sorry for misunderstanding

I would be really interested in a guide to paint sodo and/or minipla.
I don't feel skilled enough to paint , so I just apply sticker for now. But if it not too hard/complicated to do , I would really like to try, but I don't want to try without some guide first ^^;

So, going off the new scans, what do we think the chances of Yua's Raider form getting a So-Do fig? While Evolt's monster form never got a figure, there's a little bit of precedent, with Another Zi-O in the final wave of Zi-O So-Do. It's a great looking suit, I'd love to have some plastic representation of it

Well we got the entire "another" series for Zi-O so I'm thinking they might do a "Raider" series for Zero one.

But that never got finished, we only got 8 another riders out of that which doesn't speak well for more monster figures in the so-do line.

If Jackal Raider turns out to be a mainstay suit and not a one-off thing, it'd be a lot more major than literally every other monster suit in this show so far. In that case, it would at worst be in a special side wave like Decade, Ginga etc in Zi-O were. We may even be lucky enough to get it in the main waves, depending on how little suits there are.

I feel like that's more because they only planned 2 waves. I feel like since they were released so close to the end of the show they probably did pretty okay, as what might've been a last minute decision. I should probably consult the blog.
