Well, that is your opinion, and your welcome to it, if you disagree, fine. But thats no reason to attack someone elses opinion and be overall profusely bitter about it just because you disagree. This is a forum, many opinions resound here. And my comments were on a completely different tangent (if you looked at the previous page) before you chimed in. If you took my initial comments out of context, ok. There was no reason to get that bloody aggressive and dramatic over a childrens show, and that over an offhanded remark that was not directed at anybody, not trying to offend anybody, and may have been taken out of context. Context and civility in a discussion matter.

But again back to zenkaiger. I really hope the Dx geartlinger is not huge or bulky. Although, as a concept, it'd be cool to change with a gatling weapon, gatling weapons are overall quite unwieldly, so hopefully its like a handheld blasters size and not too bulky. It would be funny that after all this speculation, the morpher turns out to be another wrist or cell changer, just with an edgy name. Also, wasn't there a leaked toy list that had the sentak sofubi name for this series? Or was that a fake?

So, could this be our first look at the new suits?

Outside of the obvious Goranger-style high collars, the antennae give me heavy GoRider vibes.

The helmets silhouette is giving me bioman and rider vibes with the antenna. Maybe Kurona, youll get rider-esque sentai. Also, didnt gokaiger and lupinranger have high collars? Or are gorangers even higher?

Okay, now I'm interested. Might get back to Sentai with this if they're bringing back the capes. Yeah yeah I know it's fickle to get back into a show solely because of design but still.

Hopefully this show brings back the kaizo-ningen trope, but stil no word as of yet. Maybe it's cyborgs, androids, or they pull a timeranger, where everyone except red is an android or cyborg, or vice-versa.

Its joke if this end up being gokaiger season 2 especially i don't think most of the cast did so well after the series end aside from blue and silver appeared in other minor teens dramas and garo respectively .

Nah, only JAKQ are cyborgs. Gorengers were just trained specialists and surviving members of the special forces team EAGLE. Battle Fever J, Sunvulcan, and Dynaman were also specialists, while teams such as Denziman were descendants of aliens and Bioman were descendants of Earthlings who were bombarded with bio particles. Goggle V I believe were chosen by a computer.

Antennae! Some of the earlier rumors associate the red Ranger with the word “Mach.” Maybe it was a reference to Kamen Rider Mach, who had prominent antennae as well?

Oh boy, Zenkaiger might be a good season next year.

Well obviously theres a clear insectoid vibe with that suit and I took the time to do some digging in the Kanji because YES Kikai as a word can mean machine but we know its written differently Much like how Masshin was written as Demon Advancement or something like that, or that was our early reading of it only to now realize it was more Ma as in Magic not Ma as in Demon. Plus the obvious play on machines.

Engine sentai go-onger was written as Fire god and so on.

So lets look at 機界 Kikai from Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger.

機 Ki- Machine
界 Kai- this we take to mean world... but it has some other meanings for example when paired with 世 gives us the familiar term 世界 Sekai- which is also where we get the term Isekai (another world)

However from what i can dig up- Note i'm not expert and I was mainly looking at Jisho.org but 界 can also mean afew other things.

We are all focusing on Kai as in world... but what if its TAXONOMY... IF the rumor of them using past mecha is true then this works rather well. Machine _ Sentai Zenkaiger with some overt insect theme seems strange to me. Personally if they have a insect vibe I'd expect more Insect relation in the name of the team.

HOWEVER if its Mechanical Kindom(Taxonomy) Sentai Zenkaiger then....

YES i know vehicles are NOT a kingdom... but if since MOST mecha have some sort of mechanical form (even if they start out as a guardian spirit) then we can probably look at them under a similar lens. we've noted how the rumored mecha can be roughly seen as represening 4 types of past mecha.

What if the 5th is an insectoid mecha... maybe they will take a page from Kyuranger and have each ranger suit look rather differnet from one another. Red with Insectoid features due to having a highspeed insect mecha of sorts. And the other 4 taking traits from their respective classifications all keeping the high collar bits.

What will be there team colors red blue black yellow pink or white can wait to see the mecha and villains

Personally I don’t care as long as the Megazords combine. It was stupid that the Megazords in Kirameiger didn’t combine at all. Hell, Zyuohger’s Megazords combined and it’s already been well-established my feelings on that series. Kirameiger broke a cardinal rule in Sentai by not having their Megazords combine, and I hope Zenkaiger rectifies that issue.

In terms of context for -kai(界) world or realm seems like the more befitting translation than kingdom.

I think it's just the annual team-up movie of Kiramager X Ryusoulger; which is kinda funny to see before the standard one.

No VS movie this time, it's 3 movies, one for Kiramager, one for Ryusoulger, and one for Zenkaiger.

Just a thought - what if the antennae are actual antennae, like on a radio or an older TV? Does anyone know if the translation of "machine" can encompass that sort of thing, or is it exclusively used for heavy-duty machinery?
Not suggesting that Zenkai will actually be radio themed at all lol, just that it could be a neat design choice if they're going for a tech-y aesthetic

Yeah they can be considered machines as well cause in Japanese heavy machinery does have a term called jyuki(重機) which means heavy machinery primarily. Regardless they are all considered machinery last I checked.

That in mind, I'm just gonna say that the first episode (whether it is numbered 1 or 0) will feature the human joining the team.

Yeah, it's a very Sentai fish-out-of-water set-up for the Red -- or, rather, the main lead; given this one's apparently a White!

I'm anticipating some Windspector (and to a lesser degree Zero-One) transhumanism and robots finding love.

So the sole human lead and 4 suit/voice actors? That sounds like an awesome idea if pulled off well. I wonder if they’ll have the more bulky Metal Hero like costumes

Yes! My hunch was right about them pulling a timranger! They'll probably be either human looking androids, or, as you said, robots played by 4 suit and voice actors. Still a fresh concept, and a nice homage to timerangers scenario.

This is truly the wildest set of rumors I've ever heard for an upcoming Sentai show.

To summarize the leaks from the retailer meeting held yesterday...

We're going to have a human white ranger called ZenKaiser, who basically looks like Kamen Rider Mach but with a Dragonranger-esque shield and a cape, as the leader of the team from the start.

All of the others -- who will be colored Red, Blue, Yellow, and Pink -- are going to be robots/androids/mechs of some sort. Their robot forms will have faces based on past mechs (Red = DaiZyuJin, Yellow = GaoKing, Pink = MagiKing, Blue = DaiBouken). It's unclear if they'll have human forms or if they'll always be robots like Beet J. Stag/Washi Pink/Tenbin Gold.

Those robots will grow into mechs that can then combine with each other, KR W-style. Red will become a T-Rex that turns into something resembling DaiZyuJin; Yellow, a Lion that turns into something resembling GaoKing; Pink, a dragon that turns into something resembling MagiKing; and Blue, a dump truck that turns into something resembling DaiBouken.

The Sentai Gears are two-sided. One side represents a full team and its number in the franchise and the other represents that team's Super Gattai. These are loaded into the Geartlingers, akin to Ranger Keys.

So, my take on this is...

I know this verges on fanfic, but what the hell, I’m excited, so I'm gonna make some predictions. I predict ZenKaiser will be the combined spirit of all past colors of Super Sentai — like AkaRed, but for all of Sentai not just the red senshi. I predict ZenKaiser might be as much of a mentor as he is a leader, akin to Big One, and that the "core" Zenkaiger team will be the mechs he takes under his wing. ZenKaiser's goal, then, would be to teach this ragtag team of sentient mechs how to be a Sentai team themselves, without the help of any human/humanoid counterparts, by taking them on a tour of the legacy of Super Sentai and having them earn the respect/powers of past teams. I'm imagining JAKQ + Gokaiger, with shades of Winspector and Zero-One.

So, its literally 5 mecha referencing those main gattai's from those milestone series, with a combination mechanic akin to muteki shogun and Kamen Rider Double. It's storyline incorporates showa elements, such as JAKQ, and the android heroes trope. And the collectibles are like the yokai watch shadow side medals in terms of functionality, with two sides, and a dash of Gokaiger. Wow.
This is really shaping up to be a toyline and show i fully invest in, if its as good as it seems! I haven't been this excited since Gokaiger.:D

I only read the 2 pairs that form minicombos, and I also read that ZenKaiser is a Ranger Name this time around, so what's the fifth mech?

White, he's part of the team, but his mecha isn't highlighted. 4 mecha are listed for the 4 machine rangers. But not him, i believe he is the one who has the "Mach" machine that we've heard about red having. Since its stated red is his own mech and daizyujin/ t-rex themed, then "Mach" must be whites. It was also rumored that these 4 legacy themed mecha would combine with a central mecha, which probably forms the structural integrity of the body that the 4 plug onto. It would make sense that whites machine mach could be bigger than the other 4 to account for this. As well as the fact that he is their leader, probably will get a bigger mech. Rumors have stated the combined mecha is supposedly called ZenkaiOh. Time will tell if all this is true, but damn am i excited just on these supposed tidbits, it sounds refreshing.

Rumors indicate that ZenKaiser is the only one with an "original" mech (i.e., not based on anything from the past) but that it wasn't part of the toy meeting. Signs point to it being a Q2 reveal, so we won't know much about it until January (or possibly even later).

Again, all of this is rumor, so could be wrong.

What about that "Mach" machine that was mentioned earlier? Still in the air? Or was disproven? Is that what zenkaiser probably has? Or could it actually be whites? If "Mach" is the q2 mech, how do you think these 4 machines will form zenkai-oh?

The current thinking is that “Mach” was a reference to Kamen Rider Mach. Apparently ZenKaiser looks a lot like KR Mach. For context, the leaker from last week who referenced Mach, Daizyujin, GaoKing, MagiKing, and Daibouken usually leaks the suit colors — this year, they leaked those mech references, which, after the toy meeting, is panning out as a reference to the human-sized suits.

As for ZenkaiOh, apparently the Red-Yellow gattai is called ZenkaiOh ZyuuraGaorn while Pink and Blue combine to become ZenkaiOh BuruMajeen. ZenKaiser’s mech will probably combine with the other 4 to make... ZenkaiOh? It’s unclear.

Remember, this is all still rumor. Nothing is confirmed.

Thanks for clearing that up. Now it makes much more sense. Lol, i kept confusing white and zenkaiser as 2 seperate characters.

So, based on these leaks, the rangers will probably use dual gattais and a good sum of auxillary mechs to flesh out Q1, and then in Q2, Zenkaisers machine will be revealed, and we will probably get the 5 machine gattai. Make sense. Sort of fresh not to get the full team gattai at the start, and a dual gattai system seems far more plausible now. Since for the 5 machine gattai (they gotta do it, its a staple), whites will probably make up the majority of its structure, so i rescind my previous comment of double-esque gattais not working engineering-wise.

The dual gattai name for blue and pink seems a little uninspired, since red and yellow literally ooze legacy references, while buru majinn is just blues color and pink being after majiking. It would've been nice if it was called bouken majinn. That is to say, if these leaks are legit.

And the suit, aside from the pretty zany mock-up, i think it could definitely work and look quite cool. If only sentai figuarts were still around.....
