The good thing with Kamen Rider is that at least Amazon has ties to it, so it will probably stream at Amazon Prime at some point, like Black Sun or Amazons.

So theatric or home media release aside, once the movie hits Amazon Prime in Japan we might get it with subtitles too.

And then enter 2027 the conclusion to Kamen Rider Shin. :lolol

It is a great, eye-catching poster to be fair. A lot of the comments over on Reddit seem to be about the movie being called "IMAX", Mumen Rider, or that they misread the title as "Shin Ramen Rider". Still cool to see.

I know this isn't directly related to the movie, but I love this commercial so much. Considering how this movie is seemingly aimed at older Rider fans, the decision to feature a kid at the end is interesting.

If the recipient had been an adult, maybe they could have also been assimilated? Not sure how that would fly in a commercial.

I don't even bother with theater concessions anymore, I'm just overly curious.

There are people who do not like Pepsi to such a degree that, when Regal switched over from Coke a year ago, there would be an audible groan in the theater when the pre-show Pepsi commercial would play.

I honestly don't care (prefer Diet Coke, but will drink Diet Pepsi), but I've heard anecdotes of people switching theater chains to avoid Pepsi. It's a thing!

Wonder if this will make its way to the UK - I caught Shin Ultraman, but even that was in a cinema out of the way.

I interchange both Pepsi and Coke depending on the restaurant, it doesn't matter much for me.

That being said I hate whenever I order coke and I get Dr. Pepper instead, that's a curse that's haunted me for quite a while.

Homepage says tickets go on sale in May, but I was able to get a ticket through AMC no problem.

It hurts that I could have gone to see Shin Ultraman in theaters near me, but circumstances prevented me, and now they're not giving me another chance.

I guess I shouldn't hope Godzilla 2023 gets a showing near me either.

I finally saw the movie today and I loved it. I almost skip out on it, but I saw it on the last minute. It was also surprising to see a KR film in a pack theather. Back in 2013, I would never believe it if you went back time and told me that Anno would make a Kamen Rider film and would do well in an American screening.

There's honestly not much else on Prime Video I'm interested in watching at the moment, and I already used the free trial two years ago to watch Shin Eva and Kamen Rider Amazons, so I'm not paying just to see that it's not available.

Shin Ultraman also isn't available and Shin Godzilla seems to be rental only.

That button does not exists for me. It does exists on the IMDB page for Evangelion 3.0+1.0, so it's not a matter of not being logged in, or a technical problem on my end. Guess I'll just wait and see.

EDIT: It seems I could start a new trial, and no luck. The selection for anime and tokusatsu is abysmal here in Finland, basically the Evangelion movies and Ghost in the Shell for anime, and Kamen Rider Amazons S1 for toku.

Canada got it at least, which isn't surprising, but yeah I had to search "Masked Rider."

Honestly I really liked it. It's a bit weird in the editing/pacing, and it has a LOT stuffed into it, but it was enjoyable and felt like a more earnest depiction of Kamen Rider whilst updating it accordingly.
