Personally? Color palette, motifs, rough bios of what their personalities are like.

I wouldn't mind if we got another Orange Ranger or Purple. Maybe female Green again would be good. We got that for Kira Mage. Kyu had given us both Orange and Purple. That was good.

Adore these suits.

I've seen rumors saying there's a purple, which always bugged me, because--if I'm not mistaken--"purple" has always been referred to as "violet" in Sentai. Seeing it, however, it strikes me that this purple is easily differentiated from any violet we've seen--enough to warrant the different name.

Yellow and Purple are female.

Screenplay: Mizuto Takano (previously wrote Heisei Generations Dr. Pacman)
Producer: Takahito Omori & Taku Machixuki (both longtime Kamen Rider vets)

I love these suits! Especially Red's! The weapons also look neat, and the aesthetic does remind me more of Rider than Sentai, which is a nice change of pace for the suits (especially since Ryusoul Red Max was one of my favorite examples).

Overall, really liking what I'm seeing so far.

Director having worked on chunks of Ryusoulger makes sense, I got the same vibe looking at the poster.

Ryusoulger was great and had an extremely strong endgame, so I'm up for more swordsman sentai stuff.

What's the source of this rumour? The fact that both times I've seen it "Minato Takano" has been spelled wrong gives me red flags as a rumour goes, tho it could be a google translate issue on an accurate rumour

Love the kick ass suits.

I like what I'm seeing. Love the swords and capes. Mecha looking super greebled and detailed is also a surprise.

I heard that the sixth ranger is going to be a male and a pink ranger.

Man, they went hard on the suit and the Mecha. I love it!

I got to say, the new ranger suits look great and the main mecha looks pretty impressive from what little we see of it.

I can't tell whether the sword hilt is simply themed after each core team member, or if it's covered with collectible widgets. I'm guessing the latter.

At first, the form-factor of the belt reminded me of the Vision Driver, but I'm guessing it's probably another case of the belt buckle being used to carry collectible widgets.

That name is atrocious, but the suits look great. I'm looking forward to seeing more of them.

Also, having five team members, none of whom are superdeformed CGI, is really, really nice.

Man, it's unfortunate that this primarily sword-wielding Super Sentai series came after Saber, the primarily sword-wielding Kamen Rider series. Would've been fun to see how different the swordfight choreography would've been between the two while they were both airing at the same time.

Very interesting color choices, glad we're getting a Purple Ranger (who's more of a lilac than violet), and I wonder if KuwagaOhger and HachiOhger will have the same sort of level of importance, judging by how different their helmets are to the other three. Speaking off, very interesting choice to make the leader a stag beetle instead of a rhinoceros beetle, don't know how many bug-themed stories do that since it always seems like it's the usually the other way around. Also interesting in making it so that the bee/wasp is the Black Ranger instead of the Yellow Ranger, since I usually think that bees/wasps are associated with yellow more than black. Overall, really liking their designs, it's nice that we're getting a more armored Super Sentai team this time around (and no, not counting Zenkaiger, most of them were robots, so their armor isn't the same).

Though not so sure how I feel about the mecha this time around, it feels a bit too mechanical? It kind of clashes with their look for me, like it goes too hard on the mechanical details here. Maybe it's the panel lining, I've actually never liked heavy panel lining. It always looked ugly to me whenever I see like, people panel line their model kits. I get that it's supposed to help bring out details, but it just looks so distracting to me personally.
