If it's true, then Sentai needs to find a new partner channel for funding and swap to there or it takes a break and comes back in the future once they're able to do so while Gavan takes over the time slot. If it's not, then Sentai and Metal Heroes possibly get rolled together conceptually for the next installment if THAT rumor proves true. Either way, there are shake-ups going on in the tokusatsu medium right now whether you wanna believe it or not. |

And why are you getting mad at the journalists? Even if this wasn't reported, Toei and TV Asahi would still be moving on from Super Sentai and the only difference would be that we wouldn't know about it yet. |

Tsuburaya is attempting to renew their Koseidon trademark.
https://ukiyaseed.weebly.com/ukiyase...idon-trademark In normal circumstances, this would belong in its own thread or the "Ultraman Discussion Thread", but isn't the original sometimes referred to as "Kyoryu SENTAI Koseidon"!!! If Toei and TV-Asahi really are shelving Sentai for the time being, is this opening doors that were previously closed off for Tsuburaya? I always did wonder why there was never greater conflict between Toei and Tsuburaya over the fact that they both used the phrase for Zyuranger and Koseidon respectively. Food for thought, at least. |

i'm so very confused everything.

I wouldn't read too much into the Koseidon thing. Tsuburaya barely has the budget to afford a 25 episode series every year, and they still need to pad it out with clip shows every few months. Bringing back Koseidon when they already struggle to make their flagship franchise every year would certainly be a choice.

We are all happy to talk more here, but noone is interested in loud uninformed yelling, its frankly uncomfortable and interrupts the flow of conversation. It gives the impression you are having a mental breakdown and are in need of help, and i don't mean that in a rude way, I mean it very literally, I worry a little bit when i see your posts that you are losing your mind. Don't make us worry, just ask for help understanding. Also, it would help if you use complete sentences, and addressed the person you are talking to or the subject you are reacting to. Even if its angry, then at least we know why. Heres an example. Instead of "why they spread that crap on the internet?", you could say "Why are these journalists spreading lies, is there no reason?" and i could explain: They just need more news to report so people will see their advertisements in between, so they exaggerate claims and generate drama. |
now i'm mad today because of the trademark of gavan toei is the only to blame for that is the only company for not letting us about the future of super sentai thanks for this sick grudge of it.

Toei is a business, and Super Sentai has been on a downward slope of popularity for over a decade now. Ratings are bad, toy sales are far behind Bandai's other brands, and it's expensive to film.
If Super Sentai isn't pulling in numbers anymore, it's for the best if Toei puts it on ice. Let people miss it. Hiatuses did wonders for Godzilla, Kamen Rider, and Ultraman's relevancy. |

Dbenavidez, you should Really log off for a bit. It's clear the news these last few weeks has been really upsetting you, but you're taking it too far now. Super Sentai and Power Rangers are children's shows, who exist first and foremost to make Toei a profit. Ending after 50 continuous years on television is an accomplishment, comparing it to one of histories greatest horrors is, at best, incredibly childish and immature

Boy howdy, I remeber when just doubleposting in a forum was considered a Cardinal Sin! ...oh, he finally got banned. ...what were we talking about again? OH RIGHT, the potential end of Super Sentai. It's certainly a bummer and I feel for the fans. I'd be surprised if it had any major impact in the West (at least from my perspective), if only because Hasbro seems content on letting the whole franchise wither away until all that's left is the occasional token licensed MMPR merch or comic book crossover tie-in. ...no I'm NOT bitter about how poorly/premturely the Lightning Collection Power Weapons and ZAP lines were treated and ended, shut up. (I'm never going to get a new proper combined Power Blaster, am I) |
