The region is also definitely based on europe in general not just france, pretty close in shape and layout. And you can get extra accessories and clothes for your character, so there's at least a bit more customization there then.

It really is a good year to own a 3DS...

lets just hope surfing on warte improves due to the riding on a goat cause we had a seal a laperas a wale pad thing for the longs lets hope we get the actuall look of the pokemon using surf or fly

Also... the region is actually probably just france on closer inspection =p In my defence the region's outline maps pretty well to both.

Also, seeing as the lizard dude is called Helioptile, I hope he has a badass giant lizard/helicopter evolution =p

and this was mentioned in aparagaph of one of it triva things on its page.

Actually, "helio-" means "of or relating to the sun."
But a helicopter lizard? Yes! That's how I want to fly! That or a Flygon.

I think it's just outdated dude. The fandom new about them before they were officially revealed hence why it says they aren't official. With the release of the Genesect movie though they are now all official pokemon.

Trucks were seen on the highway in Black and White so I guess this is a nice, natural evolution of that.

Hell, if you want to be absolutely technical, there was data for at least one truck in Gen 1...
