And I agree, Penguindrum is nuts and everyone is messed up in the head. I read analyses that said it was about the sarin attacks on Japanese subways and how it affected that generation of Japanese kids in this long run and the penguin thing being an analogy for not belonging. Still made way too little sense, but then again I heard its a good show to rewatch.
