For real? Okay, a noble thought at a glance but that just feels like a lame excuse. They must think children run on arc reactors or something. What if they are done for the day? What do they expect them to do go watch Jerry Springer reruns instead? I remember when I was a kid I would do a bunch of outdoor activites from 8am to 4pm such as swimming, go to the park and play with neighborhood buddies, roller hockey and after all that I was done for the day and just wanted to watch Goof Troop and X-Men and Power Rangers until my dad came home to watch the news after all the cartoons were done. Again a noble thought but they should reconsider.

Most shows take breaks, so it's nothing new. With 20 episodes for one season, I do think having new episodes air in Fall would help promote new toys. It would help kids ask their parents to buy it for them for the holiday season.

True. Just that Nickelodeon's format feels incompatible with Power Rangers. And the whole 2nd season being Super has got to go. It feels pointless personally.

Random tangent. If they do Kyuranger next season I wanna see the actor who plays the nerdy lackey of the jock in Ninja Steel as the Spada/Kajiki Yellow counterpart. He seems to be as acrobatic as the others in real life and for some reason I can see him take that role.He doesnt even have to be related just say a mere coincidence like Battle Kenya and Denji Blue.

As somebody who watches Nickelodeon regularly, I can personally say that their consistence in airing new episodes of any of their shows is kind of weird. Most of their shows have specific day and timeslot that they air new episodes in. This time slot is based on what kind of show it is.

Their animate shows, save for Spongebob, typically air about 5 or so episodes at around 4:00PM or so over the course of a single week before disappearing for a while and then coming back for another set of episodes. This obviously doesn't count special or seasonal episodes.

Their live action shows, save for Power Rangers and whatever month long even series they're currently airing, typically air on Saturday nights between 7:00PM and 8:00PM. Ignoring the two shows mentions mentioned above, they usually have about 4-5 shows running at the same time. At the moment, those shows are Game Shakers, Henry Danger, The Thundermans, School of Rock, and Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn. Its quite rare for new episodes of live action shows, special or another wise, to premiere during any other timeslot, save for maybe holiday premieres.

For Spongebob, things are a bit wierder when it comes to premiere dates. While new episodes typically premiere on Saturday mornings at 9:00, its not unheard of them to have a week of new episodes just like there other animated shows. Its also pretty common for them to premiere new episodes on Mondays that are on the tail end of a 3 day weekend.

As you may have guessed from the information provided above, these means that the premiere dates for new episodes can be really all over the place when it come to consistency. The live action shows are a particually notable example because, as you may have guessed, a one hour time slot doesn't exactly split all that well between five 30 minute shows. This means that there are always points in seasons where there's a long stretch of time without a single new episode.

Lets take Game Shakers as an example. Season 2 of Game Shakers premiered on September 17, 2016. From that day, they aired new episodes every Saturday until October 8th, where they took a break before resuming new episodes on November 5. From there, new episodes once again aired every Saturday until November 19 where they disappeared again until... February 11, 2017. From there, new episodes aired again through out March and May, taking a break in April, before stopping on May 20th until... September 9th, 2017. As of this post, they've aired new episodes every Saturday since returning.

Game Shakers is not the only live action Nickelodeon show to air like this. Heck, its not the only show *period* on the network to air like this. In fact, this is kind of the norm for shows on Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and Disney Channel. Each channel has their own little quirkier when it comes to air dates but this is more or less how its like for all 3 of them.

Power Rangers is odd compared to other Nickelodeon shows in that we always know when its going off the air and when its coming back on. Things may be off by a month or so but for the most part we're pretty certain of the show's consistence.

Long post short, its pretty standard among all of Nickelodeon shows. In fact, Power Rangers may be better off then some of its other Nickelodeon cousins oddly enough.

What if Patoranger succeeds and be adapted for the 2019 season ?

I doubt it, they'll likely do Kyuranger first, and because they have 40 episodes max as usual since Samurai, plus there's the fact there's a hiatus between the 'Super' season. I don't think they'll finish Super Ninja Steel and Kyuranger's adaptation in 2018

Well I can't see them not adapting Kyuranger. It's an actual in space sentai. Saban's been wanting this for a very long time. Also with twelve rangers, that's something that could help the toy sales. heck if they adapt the civilian suits for Garu, Champ, Balance, Raptor and Shou that's something else they could sell action figures of.

And we don't know enough about Patoranger yet to know if they'll want it. I could have Zords that Bandai America doesn't think will sell well like Toquger or Zyuger.

I know that's not the thread, but when it was announced a space sentai i was expecting Megaranger-like mechas.

What if Saban use the music from Zyuranger instead of hiring Shuki Levy for MMPR? The show still be using American actors with Japanese footage, but the music is not changed.

...Honestly, I think that would of caused the franchise to be stillborn. The soundtrack is one of the biggest parts of why the franchise took off.

To be fair Megaranger was video game themed more than space themed. In Space added a lot more space elements.

I feel like the franchise took over because it was live action kids show that was different from any other kids show at the time. You had Giant Robots and people transforming to fight monsters. I like Power Rangers as a kid because I like the Action, Suits and the Zords.

What if Netflix make a original season of PR ?

How you guys feel if they use the Pre-Zyuranger Sentai in the BOOM PR comic book series? I won't mind if they find a good way to write them in unlike Super Megaforce.

Kousoku Sentai Turboranger as 80s Power Rangers would be cool. Say one of the 60s rangers tries to emulate the tech but with cars and he gets lookalikes of the Breakfast Club to be the rangers. Say Captain Mitchell is the assistant and all is set.

Between the Rangers of Aquatar and Andros, it's pretty easy to say that there have been rangers on other planets. Since their have been rangers on other planets. So you could use that if you want to avoid having to keep everything secret (And let's face it once you have to pull the Megazord out, secrecy is no longer a thing.)

It isn't a bad way to go, but how does one really go about it?

- Do JAKQ and Battle Fever J really make sense in a PR setting?

- If they appear in a comic format, does that mean that the show should incorporate them, especially if we have another "ALL RANGERS UNITE!!!" circumstance?

- I once saw a Star Trek "comic" which appeared to use actual and "doctored" images from the Original Series and speech bubbles to create an entirely new story! I have not seen it again nor have I identified it, but it gave me an idea: Could Pre-Zyu Sentai be done in the same fashion? Could older Sentai screen-caps be adapted into a new PR adventure?

- Do we adhere to what Super Megaforce did in any capacity, given the fact that they are, unfortunately, established continuity? Since Dairanger was referred to as "Legendary Squadron", does any unused Sentai team follow the same parameter: Dairanger to become "Mighty Morphin' Galaxy Squadron"?!?!?

The problem with Turboranger is that they have those suit badges which denote "Turboranger"! How does one marry this with Power Rangers Turbo? Are there two "Turbo" teams?

Easy just make them Rangers from all of the different planets from PR history.

I would use Bio-Man as the 80s Power Rangers team in the BOOM comic book series since Saban did want to adapt the series originally in English back in the mid 80's.

To include Zordon in EVERYTHING does not make sense! Aware of them and perhaps fought alongside of them in unseen confrontations, possibly. My own ideas are that if Pre-Zyu is FORMALLY adapted, they should collectively be known as the "Ranger Squadrons", with Dairanger being the last of them. This works in accordance with Super Megaforce and their abysmal naming conventions for Non-PR teams, which can be ret-conned as needed.

I'm not saying that they cannot have an association with Zordon and Alpha, just that those two cannot be the literal crux of how things should occur. Are the Turboranger suits good: Yes! However, their Sentai name is apparent on the suits and it shouldn't conflict as heavily when we already have a "Turbo" team in PR! I did have an old idea where the suits would serve as the basis for an original S.P.D. Team which occurred before Jack and Co., but a personal decision. If nothing else, a time-traveling Titanium Ranger (who's suit was supposedly designed after Turboranger) would be an interesting touch and would match well with Turbo Rugger!

Pre-Zyu Teams as aliens: Yes, but with a little flexibility there! Humans at the wrong place at the wrong time would also work, but sparingly.

I said that because of they could said that those teams was always with out messing with to much known PR History. As well they could have a team be from KO-35 and a team be from Mirinoi.

Flashman suits also have a great 80s aesthetic alongside Bioman I think.

From what I've heard Saban can use Go-Busters & Toqger for Power Rangers if they wanted to still, We are just guessing they'll do Zyuohger or kyuranger for Power Rangers 2019. Would you guys be okay if they use Go-Busters or Toqger?

If I remember correctly, they said Zyuohger's cubes were hard to work with for gimmicks, meaning Kyuranger's many globes are more appealing by default. And Saban outright mocked the ToQger suits

Well I just wanted to point something out.

You do realize that there are only actually about five actual actors required, right? Everyone else was a voice role and those are much cheaper.

The voice acting in the newer shows suck in my opinion. I do wish they would have anime voice actors again for the monsters and villains.
