I just thought of this: what if S4 is Korra?

Follow me, Avatar and MLP both have basic first seasons that say "here's the characters and the setting, enjoy." Like all good first seasons. Not to mention the pilots and finales are both huge affairs.
S2 for each gets more intense, it has the fanbase. So it gets more in depth and becomes a very strong season.
S3 is short and some have qualms with it, and the finale, while the episodes themselves are still good. And the defining moment in each finale is divisive.

So what if MLP:FiM S4 is like Legend of Korra in a sense?

Legend of Korra isn't Season 4 of The Last Airbender. It's a sequel series.

So yeah, the Apple Family Reunion was fun. Nice to see Bab again even if it was only a couple episodes okay. The song was enjoyable and upbeat so grab a new partner here we go!

Babs was quiet, timid, and reserved (Outside of her stint as a bully).
She's farther from Momo than Sweetie Belle.

Yep. It feels like it went by too quick though. Only one episode plot, when it feels like it could have been more.

Yeah, the first two episodes are considered by many to be mediocre at best.

MLP has a current total (that I've seen at least) of four two part adventure arcs. three being the season premieres and another being a season finale. Now this is just my opinion but the absolute best of the four is the premiere of the second season which is the next one you'll see.

However, for the time being I hope you enjoy the rest of season 1!
