I made my character a gender swapped version of my Moon character, complete with a gender swapped Rowlet.

FYI, Nendoroid Lana went up for pre-order last night.

Still don't care about her whatsoever as I don't watch the anime, but damnit the Wishiwashi she comes with is adorable. GSC exclusive is fortunately just a stand this time (although it is nice looking), but Pokemon Center Store includes a Dive Ball too.

Not ordering yet, but my completionist side is nagging at me since she'd be a hole in the collection.

So my current team in Ultra Moon is easily the most variety in types I've had in the series.

Within four Pokemon we got Grass/Ghost Dragon/Fighting, Fairy/Ice and Psychic/Dark.

Welp my Shiny luck in USUM began today. I was leveling some Pokemon I'm EV Training up on wild Chansey in SOS battles and found a Shiny Chansey. The Chansey was even a Bold Nature and the SOS went on long enough for it to have 4 perfect IVs in Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense and HP.

So pretty much, I captured a perfect Shiny Chansey some how XD

I just made it to the fourth trial and I have al six party members.

Deadpool will be voicing Pikachu in that live action pokemon movie. I was expecting someone like Nick Offerman or Thanos himself but fine by me. For now.

Nintendo seriously needs to start making an Earthbound Netflix TV show if they got money to spend on a Stuart Little + Sherlock Holmes film. I could care less about this or a Mario film. Gimme Earthbound Netflix Live Action TV show, a cup of chamomile, a rocking chair, a fireplace, some snacks, an ugly Christmas sweater and I am good.

I just did the battle with Ultra Necrozma in Pokemon Ultra Moon, what people say is the hardest fight in Pokemon history. So what happened with me was that my party was down to one, i had no revives and Potions and my only Pokemon left was my Kommo-o, my weakest party member.

Its down to 1 HP and Necrozma keeps trying to hit her but because her affection ratibg was so high the attacks kept missing, the Ultra instinct song from Dragon Ball Super came to mind.

Why is this trending?

Because Ash looks beautiful compared to his current comedic look in Sun Moon perhaps. It does look like a stepup design-wise so I can understand the positive fanfare surrounding this. The art was by an animator by the name of Shizue Kaneko and she seems to have done a lot of Shin-chan and Doraemon stuff prior.

Ash looked very feminine in the 21st movie trailer, so someone decided to add some more femininity

It’s trending because the next Pokemon movie is being animated by Studio Wit, and people are running wild with the slightly more effinate art style they’re using for the film. That picture is exaggerated of course, but the art style itself is gorgeous. Really looking forward to the film, especially since it seems like the movies might be following the “I Choose You” continuity going forward.

To those that saw the I choose you movie, how was it?

I really liked it. It's a bit silly in places and not-Misty and Brock are incredibly forgettable, but it felt far more notable than yet another "Ash meets legendary Pokemon" movie. The fact the movies seem to be going off into their own continuity has gotten me far more interested in them.

The Charizard arc in the film is really good too, even if it is a little rushed.

I see, yeah I plan to give it a go in the future when I have time. Did the Pikachu speaking part feel out of place? I got the notion that people found it jarring, odd, etc.

It does throw you a bit if you aren't expecting it I guess, but I knew about it going in so it probably didn't phase me as much. It perhaps might come off better in the original Japanese audio, as the English voice is pretty ill-fitting though.

Honestly though, I think a lot of the people who complain about it are over exaggerating. They act as if the scene is meant to me taken literally, when to me it felt symbolic. Maybe that's just me reading it differently though *shrug*

I actually used Togedemaru as one of my full-fledged team members in my playthrough of Pokemon: Ultra Sun.

It comes across a whole lot better in Japanese mostly because Pikachus actor is the same.

Not bad. Still really like what Takara's been doing with actually adding articulation though. Some of the WCT ones have are a little, but just barely. Had the Litten/Torracat/Incineroar pack in my hand ready to buy the other day and backed out but kinda want to go back and hope I can still find it in stock..

Meanwhile, Mattel's still IMO knocking it out of the park with their Mega Construx. So much to look forward to there.
