I've managed to get both Kivala and Sango recently, but I've been having some technical problems.
For Kivala, get holding hands seem to fall apart and Sango's antennaes broke off whilst I was trying to fit the muffler in the ballsocket.
Now I want to know what type of glue I need to find to solve this problem.

Any ideas and advice, guys? :(

Chaser & Winspector Fire turned out really pretty. Kabutolaw's also a nice bike; the red is so vibrant, it being a more monochromatic bike than most isn't a bad thing at all.

Same thing happened to me when trying to put on Sangou's muffler. Had to remove the head just to do so, but putting it back on broke the antenna off in the process.

That said, regular super-glue should work fine. Just use less than a dot of it and make sure you line up the break as neatly as possible so it looks clean.

Easier said than done on my case.

Pity the normal super-glue that I used was runny and I had to keep my cool in order to get it aligned.

Even when I used less than a drop, I still left some mark on my figure sadly enough, but ah well. I hope to get a better super-glue.

I think they are releasing that - the release info above it is only for 2700 yen, so unless there's another effect set that we can't see in those scans it seems a fair bet that its that stuff.

Man July is going to be a really busy month.

EDIT: Oh that's a relief, Baltan is apparently August.

And then there's the "50th Anniversary Edition" set which contains Baltan and a "Special Color Ver" of the Option Act. Building. That one is 8,000¥, and maybe a Web-Exclusive? Mabye it also includes Ultraman himself? Would make sense.

Oh nice, I might pick up that Anniversary set for Baltan then. I take it that's an August release too?

Looking at Taghobby, I think the 50th Anniversary set just comes with Ultraman. The "Baltan" bit is referring to the spaceship rather than the figure.

And Baltan himself is an August release.

I'll wait for better pics to decide what I want then, the 50th Anniversary pack is a good deal but I might want grey buildings instead colored ones.

But I'll definitely need Ultraman, Baltan (the figure, not the ship :lol) and at least one version of the buildings. These will look great together with the figures!

Talisman, I got mine from Amazon, to replace the slightly off Barizun with my original. If you're interested, and it isn't too costly to ship, I might be willing to part with one of those. You'll of course be getting the other Barizun, one of the cross locks at the bottom fell off & can't find it. Everything else looks and works as expected. Oh, and I think one or two Astroswitches are missing. Just pm me, we can work it out.

While I appreciate the thought, the entire reason I posted that reaction was because I'd just bought a Cosmic States off of Amiami for about $20. So I have one already.

Ech... it has only been like 4 months since Tamashii Nations and I'm already getting really impatient with SS Gatack. Crap.

Damn you Tamashii for showing off completely finished figures and then wait months or years to actually release them. I hope I don’t have to wait an entire year like I did with Lord Baron. Or that it ends up in pre-release hell like Kamen Rider Mars or the Kikaider Reboot figures.

I feel the same I want Kamen Rider Mars since we saw him at Tamashii Nations 2014 so I can finish my Gaim collection already. Ugh I starting to worry we might never get them the reason is bandai has to many lines to do at once. It seem like they only want to make money on what sells and not finish other lines. This has me concern about the ghost Figuarts if all the main forms will be retail or web shop. A lot to worry about with kamen rider Figuarts

This has really nothing to do with how many lines Tamashii Nations does at once. Showing off finished Prototypes and then never releasing them is something they do since they exist.

Well that's the economically sound approach.

Again, you see this all over the industry. Case in point, the Concept Case that Hasbro showed off at Joecon a few years ago before putting the line on hiatus. Sure, a few figures have made it out since then, like Kwinn and the Data-Viper, but many of them are still just that- proof of concept.

Sadly that the truth about bandai. I miss the days when bandai would release a kamen rider figuart every month or two in one month.

I know but Gaim was very popular and I would believe bandai would keep the line going with new releases that what I mean.

And they released every important figure from that line.

The world is a very different place from 2012. Oil, and thus plastic, is more expensive. Japan has suffered a number of economical and ecological setbacks that makes producing things difficult and cost prohibitive. Figuarts themselves have substantially increased in quality, making them more expensive to produce.

Point being, Bandai no longer has the luxury of shotgunning releases. They have to be SMART about what they release, and when. Though the "When" seems to be an issue, such as not releasing items for the current series until nearly halfway through the original airing, but the point still stands.

Wow I forgot about the economical stuff that happen in Japan. But you know they seem to not mind the many repaints of the star wars sandtrooper. I think they just open preorder for third or fourth with armed or something? What would you have to say about bandai making that choice? It seem weird to me.

Except for Phasma, they're not repaints. And as for why:

They are an extremely, universally popular character/design, and it's a very, very simple design- the FO troopers are literally the EXACT SAME figure, just with a different accessory loadout. No paint changes, no tooling changes. They have to change NOTHING for it but the weapons they come with, which means it is extremely cheap to produce, and they can churn them out and they will be eaten up left and right.

The thing to keep in mind is that Bandai is, on some level aware of the US Market, especially in regards to Star Wars. But due to Hasbro's bullshit, they cannot market Star Wars Figuarts over here.

I'd grown accustomed to months without Sentai figure announcements, but a month without a Rider announcement? That stings...! /aigaron

I suppose they're trying to pace their toku releases? That'd probably be a wise course of action. Ultraman, an Ultraman villain, Walther... it's a lot. Maybe they're learning to avoid competing with themselves?

Still a few days left in the month, they may be planning to announce some more Rider stuff between then and now.

FYI, I did get an order processing email from NY on Orga the other day, so hopefully that will be in hand around this time next week (though everything out of LA's customs office has been processing very slowly the past month, even EMS, so who knows). After next month, I'll be pretty much done with them for exclusives.

Regarding the dearth of toku SHFs lately, at least compared to previous years...has anyone attempted compiling a list of at least Rider-related things (Riders, forms, vehicles, other things) that Bandai hasn't released yet? I know there's several things that have been shown off (other Gaim Riders & forms, Ryuki monsters, remaining Showa bikes, some Drive stuff) and other things we keep waiting on (Kiva, of course, plus J).

On top of different circumstances between now and a few years ago, at the time the Figuarts line was still only a few years old and had plenty of Rider series to plow through, so several releases each month was easy. Flash forward to now, and a lot of big stuff's been crossed off. How many more major releases are left to do? Don't get me wrong, I'd love it if more things came out more quickly (specifically stuff they've shown off), but I guess I can see why there'd be a slowdown in Rider announcements.

About the only thing they could do in that regard is either major antagonists, MOTWs (highly unlikely), and Renewals/Shinkocchu Seihous. Off the top of my head, the only things really left untouched are Movie exclusive Riders, and a few major gaps like Wild Chalice and the Hibiki Riders.


Oh, and Kiva. They have done jack and squat with Kiva. But it's not like anyone cares about Kiva... :p
