Well Sony should’ve wised up and let Disney/Marvel make the movie, would’ve been a whole lot better and a lot less griping then.

Meh, I didn't have particularly high hopes anyway so I think I'll end up happy with whatever we get. Even if its bad I'll probably get a laugh out of it.

Into The Spider-Verse looks fantastic though, can't wait for that.

Yep. Same here. Feel sorry for Tom Hardy and Riz Ahmed, who have been in better stuff. My hopes are high for Spider-verse though. Movie looks like it will be fun.

The director wanted it to be R rated, but it seems like Sony decided to make the movie more friendly in order to hope that they will do crossovers with the MCU. Also, they have a lot of Venom related merchandise like toys, backpacks and t-shirt aim for kids. They want money from ticket sales and toys from younger people.

To which I would not be surprised if these folks tried to make a grim-dark power rangers film only to tone it down last-minute and have the Green Ranger be a mutilated-looking ninja turtle knock-off piloting the Dragonzord with a kitchen knife attached to a flute while the Dragonzord talks like Lord Zedd and say things such as "Like a turdddd... IN THE WIND...".:lolol

I wish Venom was rated R. It would have been cool to see him rip up some people limb to limb. I wanted a fun violent movie like how Blade was. Instead, we got a horror movie trying to feel a bit like the MCU. In other words, making the movie more family friendly. I saw a screening for this movie and it sucked big time. It was Daredevil all over again.

With Deadpool and Logan being R rated, I don't know why was it so hard for Venom to be R rated. I read Venom solo comics with him being more darker and violent that are aim to grown ups. Even Maximum Carnage felt like a horror movie to me.

I love how the Spidermen are animated differently. It really fits with the idea that these are people from another universe.

Yep a wise decision. It definitely makes each of them stand out in their own way. I love how Ham seems more classic 2d cel animation aesthetically. :lolol

I'm so burned out by Spider-Man, so I probably won't see the animated movie until it shows up on Netflix, Amazon or on TV (Probably FX or CN will probably air it).
