So, like Dead Heat, it looks like Toukon Boost is a mass release.

Which means that Grateful is probably going to be a Web Exclusive.

Which means we ain't never gonna see Mugen.

Toukon Boost has a cool design to it in my opinion. So I'm happy that it will be a retail release.

Oh, I think it's miles more worthy than Dead Heat was, design-wise. But I don't understand why they keep making an intermediary form a mass release and the proper "Super" form web exclusive- they'd been getting it right since Fourze, I don't see why they'd want to change the pattern.

Admittedly though, this is all based on speculation.

I don't think we have a reason to assume either Grateful or Mugen will be web exclusive right now. One or the other may be, but so far this is just the fourth retail release in the Ghost line. Necrom will probably be a fifth, but there should be at least 2 more figures after that (hopefully; both Gaim and Drive had 7 retail Figuarts). So say we have 2 left, what are they gonna do, Deep Specter and the Machine Hoodie? It seems more likely to me that we may finally see all 4 of the main Rider's main forms released this year.

Or at least I can hope.

In any case, I like Boost more than Grateful, and honestly considering Boost has pretty much completely taken over the "default form" role for Takeru at this point in the show, I would have been bummed if it was web exclusive. Definitely a more relevant form than the past couple of early upgrades.

edit: though...are we sure he's a retail release? The price listed is exactly the same as the web exclusive Musashi, about 1000 yen more expensive than Ghost and Specter. Why would he cost so much...? Hm...starting to worry now.

Looks pretty cool, easy skip for me though. The show is mediocre at best and the designs do nothing for me. In fact, Necrom would be the only Ghost SHF I’d be interested in.

Looks neat, I'll likely plug in a preorder for it whenever it goes up.

Sadly hibiki figuart did not sell well and I know this scare Bandai away from releasing other hibiki figuarts. Before anyone attack me on this how do I know is just looking at the other Kamen Riders that got renewal treatment and they still have stuff coming out "cough" "cough" Kuuga.

Man, the last Toku Figuart I bought was Agito. I really hope Bandai reveals something that I must own soon (like Kiva or Wild Chalice).

Especially Kiva so we can Garulu, Bassha, Dogga and DoGaBaKi forms. And then SS reissues on Emperor and Dark that have better, relaxed capes.
Also please let it have a second orange Kivat for the belt. That would be so cool.

And maybe Arc and Rey can get Figuarts with Arc's winged final form as a Figuart Zero.

And then Figuarts of the Arms Monsters. And the Checkmate 4. Or at least Rook and Bishop. And the Spider Fangire for shits and giggles.

Kiva had awful sales compared to previous years as far as I understood, which is one of the reasons I think they're hesitant to make Kiva at all. If there was no demand when the show was airing, why would there be demand now? Even if they do finally get around to Kiva form, (which they've GOT to, right?... please?) I very much doubt they'd even consider going all in on a series that was unsuccessful to begin with.

Well at least do Base Kiva for completeness' sake.

Last one I got was Drive Type Speed when he came out...so it's well been over a year since my last one.

Oh yeah, you're right. It was almost a year ago since Drive came out.

Now the last Figuarts in general I got were Kylo Ren, gold Freeza, and blue Goku, but ever since Bandai canned the Sentai line, I haven't really been all that enthused to buy anymore Toku Figuarts. I kind of want that Ultraman set with the buildings though, but moreso for the buildings.

Yup, he was on display at last year’s Tamashii Nations, they have already sculpted a good bunch of the original Ultra Brothers as SHF's. When and if they release them is another question.

This is not true! While, Kiva sold poorly compared to its predecessor Den-O, it actually outsold Blade, Hibiki, and Kabuto, and did almost as well as Agito.

So, low toy sales isn't the reason we haven't gotten Kiva in this case since we've already gotten figuarts from the series' that Kiva outsold. Personally, I think Bandai doesn't feel like they perfected Kiva to their standards to warrant a release.

Plus if it really sold so poorly, why can't I find a cheap (Dark) Kivat Belt like how I can drop $30 on a new Drive Driver with Free Shipping?

Well, maybe in units sold yeah. But if I remember correctly Kiva was a lot like Drive in the sense that the series before it sold so surprisingly well that they overshot demand and ended up with a surplus of product. I've seen pictures from toy isles with rows upon rows full of max clearance DX Kiva toys shelf-warming hard before the series was even over. The same kind of horrors we saw with Drive; maybe worse.

Not really even sure why this is a question. Kiva came out like eight years ago and Drive isn't even two at this point. Plus, the aftermarket is often pretty unpredictable.

Finally had a chance to pop open some recent Tamashii Nations stuff, including SS Decade & Orga for Figuarts. I don't know if my Violent Emotion faded since I got it or not, but the pink looks so much more faded on mine compared to the SS.

With Ultraman becoming apart of the SHF line, I hope we get a SHF Ultraman X figure. It seems like the Ultra Act line is probably dead at this point.

By the way, is his skirt piece hard plastic or soft plastic? Looks like hard plastic but I could be wrong.

The skirt is bendable plastic, but not what I would call soft. It's been a while since I messed with any Wizard Figuarts, but I think it's harder than that, but it's not hard like Knight or Batman, but not quite as soft as Vader's or Kylo Ren's inner skirts.

I don't know anything about Orga either, but, he looks rad and he would have been the only Faiz figure I didn't have, so I had to get him. And I don't regret it.

He looks great no doubt, but for a Rider that I don’t know and from what I get only made a single appearance in a movie I won’t pay the Web Exclusive-price. But that’s just me.

Also thanks for answering my question, as long as it isn’t rock hard plastic like Kiwami Gaim’s stupid shit cape that would be good enough for me.

I regret getting him quite a bit, what with Yuji being one of my characters in Faiz and Paradise Lost being my favorite Ride (tie-in/alternate) movie. Hopefully he won't get too heretic in aftermarket pricing.
