A lot of fans seem to think that Ruby & Sapphire remakes for 3DS are in the pipeline now.

Apparently several people you meet in X/Y are from the Hoenn Region and tell your character "you'll find out about that soon enough."

A remake of R/S doesn't excite me, probably less than a handful of pokes from that gen that I like. Don't particularly like any of the starters either.

I will totally buy it though as I'm a sucker for pokemon =p

The only thing that interests me is the possible reintroduction of the beauty stat, letting me get a Milotic without having to pray on a intercontinental connection not breaking.

A R/S remake means i can get my Rayquaza.

Not long now until I don't sleep for a week. The anticipation is killing me.

I'll most likely put me a Nintendo 3DS, Animal Crossing, and Pokemon X or Y in layaway saturday. Still debating on which to get, X or Y?

Just look at the version exclusives and decide from that. A lot of people are choosing Y for Yveltal. And a lot of the people choosing X are for Mega Charizard X and Mega Mewtwo X.

As for the regular version exclusives, I like the ones in X better. I'm getting both, but X will be my main game. It seems to be a trend that I never pick the "red" colored version as my main.

Pokemon X or Dual Destinies, one of these games will knock KH3D out of my favorite 3DS game.

I only do that as a last resort when i need like 10 more dollars and i can't find any around.

Why would they drop it?

Considering i missed Gen 5, I for one welcome unlimited TMs

Things change things from generation to generation all the time.
They dropped the ability to have your running shoes on permanently, they dropped having your lead Pokemon follow you, they dropped Apricorns, they dropped the Old and Good Rods, they dropped animated battle sprites after Crystal, they dropped the ??? type, etc etc.
Things change, and having an infinite number of any TM could be one of those changes.

Ok, ok I get it.

But most of those are minor or aesthetic changes, unlimited TM dramatically changed the gameplay, going back to one use would be... well... a dick move.

Like eliminating one type.

This Saturday is gonna feel so great! Watching Toonami while playing Pokemon and sitting on the couch. It's like i'm a little kid again.

Except it's not.
It's not a massive gameplay change and, really, it could be argued that limited TM use actually kept the game balanced, by restricting moves such as Ice Beam to either stupid levels of difficult to obtain (Grinding the Battle [X], getting 3 BP every 7 battles with the TM of choice having a BP cost in the thousands), or a move such as Stealth Rock only being a viable TM option for one Pokemon with no other way to obtain it beyond the one you're given.

I'm completely against removing the unlimited usage, but it's not like they're shifting the Super Effective/Not Very Effective charts if they do remove it.

I suppose that if it had been changed, it would have already been leaked.

Since I've stopped following leaks over the past week, even if it had been, I wouldn't know.

Considering one of the focuses of X and Y is making competitive training easier, this seems very unlikely.

I do hope however, they get rid of HMs. :lol

Apparently yes. Aron is only found in X while Larvitar only appears in Y.

Not really a concern since I'll be eventually transferring some... But I sure hope that doesn't mean the Mega stones are exclusive too. :/ I really want to train a better Aggron now.
