Igor looks pretty cool. I wonder what the Mega Ulorder-like bracelet is like in comparison to the actual Mega Ulorder.
|
I hope these eventually happens in the show
|
The new Super Ganma looks cool, and I would assume he's the one who build the bracelet Necrom uses to transform. And he specifically made Necrom's to work with Heroic Eyecons while the prototype/new version Igor caries works with Ganma Eyecons.
Also, since I believe that Gramps is/was the Ganma Emperor it could be that he used Igor’s designs or Igor's used his creation (The driver) to develop the bracelet. |

Welp. I guess it is just Specter wearing the Necrom Parka after all. I like that he keeps the hood up, though. Really drives home that the hood gimmick is signifying some kind of possession. |

In other news: Necrom Sanzo Damashii. http://i.4cdn.org/m/1453871356648.jpg It's interesting. I like how he uses the ring from his back as a weapon. The hood/crown thing is a little strange, though. |
I'll admit, I'm not a big fan of gold. But this is a BEAUTIFUL outfit.
|
Also, apparently the page says "Necrom Specter Damashii can cancel the Legendary Eyecon's powers, causing Ghost to rely on his power alone."
I wonder what makes Sanzo so special that he has an ability like that. |
Interesting.
|
My theory about Necrom was sort of right. The Parka Ghost basically "hijacks" a user. Sanzo looks pretty cool. There should be more scans coming soon right?

So Necrom will use Grimm and Sanzo while Specter has Necrom's own eyecon?

Who knows, maybe he'll also take some of Specter's Eyecons while he's at it. |
Looks like it.

I got 2 idea of how Makoto get free from being possessed by Necrom Eyecon!
Idea 1. Have Makoto attempted murder his younger sister, Kanon while being possessed by Necrom Eyecon but he doesn't and try to fight back Necrom Eyecon Idea 2: Have Makoto being the first opponent for Ghost's Grateful Soul because last year's Kamen Rider Drive's Type Formula first opponent was Chase! They probably going with Idea 2 because It's Grateful Soul! |
I wonder if Takeru will be possessed by Necrom's eyecon after Specter?
Plus wonder if Aran will later become a hero? And imagine the ending, depending if Takeru will live again or not, he and Kanon can get married before he leaves for the afterlife. |

I think I know how Makoto is going to get freed from Necroms control.
Because I've been thinking... man has it been quite a while since Takeru ever hugged someone to help them. Takeru's going to hug Makoto to break him out of the Necrom Hoodie isn't he? I will burst out laughing if I'm right. |
The words that the Mega Ulorder says after Mega Ulord for Necrom are, "Crush the Invader." Grimm's is "Fighting Pen" and Sanzo's is "Western Journey Road."

Also, I had a thought: In the scans, we've seen Musashi Boost, Robin Boost and Benkei Boost. I'm thinking if we don't end up seeing every single Ghost parka with a Boost variation, we'll at least see Billy the Kid and maybe even Tutankhamen. Seems to me like they might be going another round in trying to sell Ghost Gadgets and the Gangun Saber by featuring those forms most prominently with the new undersuit. |
Yeah, it's a weird phrase considering that in context Necrom himself would be most likely to be labelled an invader.
Who knows, maybe it's a goading phrase aimed at his opponents. Like "just try to crush the invader, come at me bros." Or maybe it's just a weird thing that doesn't mean anything. I really like the little jingles for the Megauruoda though. Just makes it that much sadder that there's only three of them... |
I think we look at this too specifically, maybe it’s not meaning "Crush the one who Invades" but "The crushing Invader". Meaning Necrom is an invader who crushes everything in his path. I would just assume that because it’s Japan and they wanted a cool sounding English phrase that it isn’t spelled out correctly.
Remember we had stuff like "Knight of Spear" instead of “Knight of the Spear” too. |

After watching a few bits from episode 16 now that hd raws are out (seriously lots of cool stuff in this episode) again, I gotta confirm my initial impression: Necrom's theme is fantastic.
My feelings on Ghost are pretty mixed, but if there's one thing about it that IMO has been consistently great, it's the soundtrack. Lots of good music in this show. |

Apparently the Mega Uloader is voiced by Peter Von Gomm, a voice actor from America who lives in Japan and is apparently pretty well known as a Japanese commercial narrator. Here's a demo reel of some of his work:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjqsAmaDf1E He was also the narrator for that Google Maps Pokemon April Fools thing, which is were I remember hearing his voice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YMD6xELI_k Glad that mystery is solved. |
The dude has a pretty good voice. And that would explain why his English is so good (still can't really make Megauruodo sound like a real word, but otherwise).
Speaking of Mega Ulorder sounds (gah that name is so meaningless. like goddamn condor denwor up in here) and the "Crush the Invader" weirdness. One supposes it's possible that it's actually "Crash! The Invader!" which...I guess. It would make more sense and considering how muffled the sound is it's not any less accurate. Plus it very appropriately describes Necrom's entrance. So I guess I'm going with that. |
The more I listen to it, I'm not actually hearing a "the" in the jingle. It might just say "Crash; Invader!"
Also, can we just agree to call the Mega "Ulorder" the Mega "Uloader"? That random 'r' in the middle is clearly a mistake. It doesn't even make sense given the pun is based on the word "uruou" and there isn't a second random 'r' in there anywhere. |
Yeah, I really don't hear the "za" in there, but the closed captioning says there is...probably a mistake or something, I guess.
Uloader does make more sense than Ulorder, though the random U is still odd. It's definitely one of those puns that only works in its native language. |

I'm reasonably doubtful. Although, if the Infinity Eyecon does turn out to be a real thing, I'm not at all convinced it will be Ghost's final form. Maybe a form between the mid-season and final, like I speculated before? I just don't think Toei would title the final form of TWO separate Riders "Infinity" within five years of each other.
|
They're not really the same though, for Wizard it was actually Infinity, in English. This would be Mugen, which does translate to "infinite" but not exclusively.
|
Even still, I can't believe that's going to be his final form until it's proven. Surely this new Specter form will be his final, though.
|
The Eyecon Driver G is beginning to make a bit more sense though...
Think about it this way, from a story perspective it works, not sure what they were thinking of in terms of merchandise but... At this point we know that the Ghost Driver can only be used by someone who is in some way, dead. Takeru's wish is to bring him back to life, and the Eyecon Driver G looks like it's what's going to come out of that culmination. So Takeru makes his wish, comes back to life but is unable to use the Ghost Driver anymore. So the Eyecon Driver G is made for him to use in it's place as that uses all of the Eyecon's power. |

Also, as for Mugen and Deep... I don't think "Infinite" should be the proper translation, as Mugen can also relate to "Dreams" or "Fantasy." That makes a WHOLE lot more sense because it ties the two forms together with the theme of "sleep," which also rounds back to the Eye theme all over again, or at least the closing of them. :p It's also worth mentioning that I think there's always been a small element of sleep, or at least dreams, from the start. In my research I found that in dream theory and psychological interpretation, when you wear the coat of someone else in your dreams, it's supposed to represent taking after their traits or assuming their position in some way... sounds to me like the Ghost parkas. |
How can Mugen Damashii be more powerful than Grateful Damashii or Eyecon Driver G?
I rather prefer Mugen as Dreams or Fantasy than Infinity! It's make a lot of sense Think about it, If Takeru successfully revived, How will he transform into Ghost again, His driver requires a dead person because Takeru was unable to transform in First Episode due his Eyecon being blank |
