If taking only design into account, I'd probably rank Kabuto in top 3. I love that suit.

Kabuto doesn't like explaining itself. If you watch Kamen Rider Kabuto the Movie: God Speed Love, you can say it was because of a time paradox.

I'm not a big fan of bulky stuff in Toku, from my experience the bulkier it is, the cheaper it looks.

Well, in the movie, the meteor that hit Shibuya is larger than the one in the show, large enough that the Earth's oceans dry up, in addition to releasing Worms on Earth. Seven years later, ZECT tries to use an approaching comet to replenish Earth's oceans... or so they say. In actuality, ZECT is going to use the incoming comet to release more Worms on Earth to wipe out humankind because... survival of the fittest. Opposing them is Neo-ZECT, an organization that split off from ZECT because... wind. Tendou works for both sides, depending on his mood, and has the Kabuto Zecter all along, his ultimate goal being to obtain the Hyper Zecter, which is in the possession of Kamen Rider Caucasus. However, after learning of ZECT's plan, he goes into space to stop them, along with Kamen Rider Gattack. After a battle in space, Tendou obtains the Hyper Zecter from Caucasus, and uses Hyper Clock Up to take the comet into the past, causing it to crash with the Shibuya meteor, reducing its size so that the oceans still remain. However, a younger Tendou still gets trapped under some rubble, so the future Tendou (whose timeline has now been erased) descends down to his younger self and gives him his Rider Belt, which gives the younger Tendou the strength to get out of the rubble and save Hiyori, his sister, as Tendou vanishes from the space-time continuum, which resets to allow the events of the show to occur. This is where the paradox arises. By taking the comet back in time and causing it to impact with the Shibuya meteor erases Tendou's timeline, meaning he would be unable to save himself from the rubble and give himself the Rider Belt, because he wouldn't exist, as he is from a timeline where the larger meteor impacts Earth. Because that Tendou doesn't exist, he cannot take the comet back in time to impact with the Shibuya meteor, meaning the larger Shibuya meteor impacts Earth, and the God Speed Love timeline would be restored, meaning Tendou would go back in time and cause the comet to impact with the Shibuya meteor and save himself from the rubble, erasing his existence and preventing himself from performing those actions, causing the paradox to kick in once again. Given the fact that we have no records/confirmations of what would happen to the universe in the event of a time paradox, it is safe to assume that the timeline would change itself to allow for the continued existence of a universe/multiverse.

However, in the show, Tendou receives the Rider Belt from the Worm that killed his father. This could be a change the universe underwent to ensure its existence... or it's just ignorance of the movie.

You mean Ryuki, right? Because Dragon Knight is the name of that ***** 4Kids of $#!% adaptation that seemed to not know what the purpose of a Toku show was (which isn't surprising, as it was 4Kids of $#!%, who had no idea what anime was supposed to be).

Watched the first two episodesbof Hibiki and the first eps of Blade and OOO. I liled 'em all, but I really need to settle on just one. Or maybe two, I dunno.

Blade seemed interesting, though I'm kind of confused as to what's going on. Tjis series has two riders already, but they're both a part of this government organization out to fight the monsters, so it makes sense. I like the whole playing card thing as well as the setup at the end, with that one rider betraying Blade and the organization at the end.

Hibiki was weird, but interesting. I knew it had a music theme, but I didn't know music would be...everywhere in it. Hibiki seems cool though. Gotta give props to a suerhero who changes into costume via tuning fork and kills giant spidera by drumming on their back.

OOO looks like a lot of fun, but I'm not sure how to pronounce the title. The whole Greed idea is pretty imteresting, and I like OOO's Rider suit a lot. Weird how he cjamged forms in the very first episode, though. Also as for that police officer Ankh took over....is he, uh, dead or what?

Oh and a motorcycle vending machine is an amazing idea.

I won't read that yet as I've only seen the first episode of the series! :lol

Wow if that is a 4kids adaptation it is extremely dark, I'm amazed they allowed all that they did allow in the adaptation.

And I know everyone likes kicking it around on this Board for whatever reason but I still really love it, it's the first Kamen Rider series I could stand right until the last episode.

So I just watched my next recommendation, 'Kuuga'. It was...okay. Nothing about it really stood out to me other than the fact it seemed to take a lot of aesthetic choices from Hammer Horror. Plus you can certainly tell it's almost 15 years old, wow those effects and suits look tacky.

I will admit though that the Kuuga and the spidergina dude fight was actually really epic, probably the most epic fight scene out of any of the ones I've tried yet.

And my final one, Agito. I loved pretty much everything about it, it was like a blend of all my other recommendations but also with a sweet suit design. About the only thing I disliked was that the cop had the cooler suit but then it was useless. The way he had to get the suit on was really shit as well.

G3 gets upgraded and improved as time goes on.

One thing I, nor you, would have known watching the first ep of Agito is how slow it is. I'm talking snails pace. Barely anything worth anything happens for the longest time, and plot points take ages to develope. The villains motivation isn't even made clear until almost two thirds in. It tries to be a mystery, but the "let's just not explain or hint at anything for ten episodes" mystery. It sets some stuff up, then just sits on it without even reminding us which questions are being asked. Spoilers, It took until the last six or so episodes to reveal just the second most important plot element. Most of the show, realistically, is just Agito faffing about until he just randomly decides to fight a monster while the police stand around asking questions.

Also, minor spoilers, but Agito as a person has got to be the most disconnected from rider stuff of any main rider I've watched. When he's not fighting he's literally doing nothing relevant, only having spidey sense at literally random times to go fight the monsters, then goes home and never even acknowledges what happened. It's like his in-suit and out-of-suit segments are cut from two different shows.

It's pronounced Oh's. As if you said the letter in plural.

Also it's less weird that he body-swapped a part when you realise how many medals there will be. Also the detective isn't dead, but he's close. Ankh's keeping him alive.

Also yeah, ridevendors are way cooler than they sound.
