I think it's fine.
It's not as good as the current standard, but I haven't really had a reason to not start begging for a SS Emperor Kiva yet.

I'm not accustomed to pre-ordering, and I really really really want to get my hands on an Amazon Alpha, but I have no idea when to start keeping my eyes peeled...

Picked up Ultraman today. I'm loving the accessories, the figure itself isnt bad but it doesn't beat Ultra Act in looks and design. Articulations is about the same as Ultra Act 2.0, quality is definitely better but why is he so freaking tiny...he looks like a little kid if you put him next to any Ultra Act figures.

The Ultraman Figuart looks like he is using the new hips. I take those over the old hips that the Ultra Acts had.

Seeing as Sentai Figuarts are dead in the water and we haven't had a release, let alone announcement, since last year, I wouldn't hold my breath.

But we did received a lot of Sentai Figuarts in sequence in the last years, did not we?

If by that you mean Gokaiger through Kyoryuger, yes. But even Go-Busters is incomplete and Kyoryuger is missing everyone beyond Kyoryu Gold. Goseiger only ever got GoseiKnight and that was about two or so years after Goseiger ended.

Literally the only reason we got all the Zyurangers was because of MMPR's popularity over here. The same can be said of Hurricanger/Ninja Storm.

Tamashii get no credits for GoseiKnight. It was the result of an online poll, right?

Amazon Alpha goes up for pre-orders tonight.

Speaking of, surprised it never got posted here nor a news article made about it but yes there is an Amazon exclusive version that just has some steam effect parts just like Omega.

Alpha secured, plus SIC Drive. I got what I wanted tonight without much effort, thankfully.

Ordered without a hitch tonight.

For a moment, I didn't think my preorder for Alpha went through on HLJ, but just got email confirmation. Their site is having some major lag and time out issues.

HLJ is having Checkout issues. I got KR Amazon but other stuff is not going through, yet.

Yeah HLJ got some server issues apparently, first time I ever saw that. my Amazon Alpha order went through though.

This is what happens when you put valk and metal build drop on the same night. I think I got my hlj orders in, i got two emails apparently saying I double ordered but I also can't check my orders and when I placed it order, it said nothing was in my cart so I have no idea whats actually going on .

I was just able to check my pending orders and Alpha is there. So that along with email is a relief. Only went with HLJ because I got Omega through them as well, might end up shipping them together to save some cost.

28 minutes of this nonsense....


3:50 AM order has finally been completed, I very seriously considered going back to sleep.

Here's how the last 15 minutes played out...

Discovered that Amazon Alpha had already gone up for preorder overnight.
Panicked.
Logged on to AmiAmi.
Panic confirmed -- I missed the Alpha pre-order window at AmiAmi.
Freaked out for 2 minutes.
Went to HLJ.
Found the preorder.
Rejoiced.
Ordered.
Didn't get an order confirmation AND couldn't log into my newly created account.
Freaked out again.
Got email confirmation.
Threw a parade.

What a stressful saga. :lol

Belatedly got to some Figuarts that came in.

Ghostriker is...a bike. I like the matte black that's used, and think it could've really popped with different colors over orange and a muted clear green. Like with most things related to this series, Specter-related stuff (Machine Hoodie) looks more interesting to me than Ghost stuff.

Bikel is solid and goes nicely with Fire. The visor is a little loose on mine though.

Lord Baron is as detailed in-hand as its looked in pics. Despite the skirts hindering posability, he turned out nicely. I wish we'd get more Gaim Riders/suits announced with this latest one out.
