... you do realize that was entirely addressed to TokuKnight89 and not you with that particular part, right? Like I was saying that THEY were trying to get a rise out of people.

Like I agree with you on hamfisted virtue signaling and not wanting it in your entertainment. But what I disagree with is the reaction to it, not that you can't express your opinion. And in my opinion, what they're doing in Donbrothers isn't all that bad.

Nah dude, the only one saying they want to force people to act a certain way is you. If a girl wants to dress sexy, that's totally fine. No one is opposed to the concepts of masculinity and femininity, the only problem is telling kids it's the only option. If a boy likes trucks and GI Joe, great, if a boy likes dolls and stuffed animals, also great! Let kids be themselves!

So you're saying it's okay for people that made a living before the world "changed" , like racetrack girls, to be left in the dust?

Well, I do know that Todd Phillips, the guy behind the Hangover movies and the recent Joker movie, feels he can't make comedies anymore because of snowflakes complaining about everything. Creators can't express themselves fully anymore without the fear they might offend someone. They're walking on eggshells these days.

I'd be a lot better than the progressive crap the west is pumping out that's for sure, smartass.
That last part makes you sound like "the West" shouldn't be progressive, or at least that they shouldn't show progressiveness in the media.

If its crap that marvel, DC, and star wars did to alienate and lose lifelong fans with progressive changes then yes stop putting out crap that is universally disliked. Now if these companies want to create new characters with their own origin stories to create new fans that appeal to people who are unrepresented then I see nothing wrong with that. Just don't destroy the characters people grew up with that made them huge Star wars or Marvel or DC fans, etc.

Can you cite examples of progressive media that are universally liked? I'm curious to see what kind of answers people will come up with. I think there's a good chance I can think of more examples of go woke go broke that blew up in the faces of these out of touch executives like Kathleen Kennedy that clearly don't know what the fans want.

Yeah I just looked at the article to see what exactly what it says and it really shouldn't be provoking such strong emotions against it unless you're internet poisoned. Can we not try to have a conversation that could get members suspended or worse?

"universally liked". It's basically a guarantee that bigots won't like progressive stuff. There are times when attempts at progressiveness in media have failed for exactly the reasons you stated, but "universally liked" is by no means the criteria to use.
