Woah how are you getting such a perfect black background?

I have a large black cloth backdrop and a mirror on the bottom to get the reflection then I do some editing to the photo and to get the black background I just increase the contrast.

I'm no good with photo editing software, I just crop and resize my pictures. Occasionally I'll adjust brightness and clone out dust.

Ah, I don't do anything too crazy like Photoshop. I just use a free program called Paint.net which is just like MS Paint with more features. lol.

You don't give yourself enough credit. Your photos look great without the need for any editing!

Wonderful pics as always, how do you think that it compares to the other figma Link? I've seen a good amount of pics that make it seem a little more fun to pose around (probably due to all of the extras of the EX set).

I don't have the Skyward Sword version.

Actually, I gues I lied because my text is gone.

What I said was:
So I've spent some time with my new Link and I really like him. The size does make it a little hard to switch out his hands though, especially since the peg joint is like the Figuarts rather than the one Link and Samus have. It also doesn't help that the left hands prefer to take the peg out with them instead of them leaving the peg. That is kind of annoying. I know he didn't have it in the game, but I do wish he came with a sheath so I could still have his sword with him when I'm using the other accessories.

Speaking of the accessories, I love most of them. The hookshot is my favorite and bad ass. The bomb, jar, rupee, and little findus thingy is cool, but I'm not as thrilled with the tornado rod as I thought I would be. The spin effect is just a piece of laminated paper and it is hard to take the top off the rod to put it on. And then the handle also likes to constantly detach, especially when it is in Link's hand. His hand also can't go far enough above his head with it, so it looks like Link is about to chop his head off with it. Oh, and Ravio's bracelet gets annoying because it has a tendency to spin around his arm. I'm kind of tempted to just take it off.

The paint job is absolutely superb and I don't see a single stroke outside of the lines or anything. This is easily one of the best painted figures I have ever seen.

Overall, I can't wait to add the Twilight Princess duo to my Zeldaverse and I'm kind of tempted to get that Nendroid WW Link, but it would be nice if they would give us a version of Ganon to fight these Links.

My favorite part of the figure is the way both the shield handle and sword separate so you can stick them in the hands without fear of breakage. That is a great piece of engineering that will save a lot of ham-fisted collectors from breaking accessories on their 50 dollar figures.

Thank you good sir, I too am rather excited for the TP versions of Link and Zelda. I'm trying to pace myself with my recent haul, limiting what i open to one thing every night or two. I feel like I got too much all at once and might not get a chance to appreciate things for what they are in order to move on and open the next one. I'll try to keep your notes in mind when trying out all of the accessories.

Little touches like that really help elevate a figure intended for the collector's market. It shows that the manufacturer cares enough to enable the consumer in enjoying their product.

Let no one convince you that pulling off this pose without chipping any paint is an easy feat. I think I pulled it off though, just barely. To avoid scratching anything requires a level of attention that I'm not comfortable with.

I just got mine today and is it just more or does the Mark 3 feel kind of cheaper in hand in comparison to the previous Iron Man figures? I still think he looks great but he doesn't feel as good as the other figures which is a little disappointing.


Also, only thing better than trunks is SSJ trunks! (though Gotenks might beat out trunks as my overall favourite but no SHF of Gotenks yet. Haha)

I don't sense much of a handfeel difference between this and the Mrk 45, personally. Although maybe I'm just glad that the Mrk 3 doesn't have as many sharp edges that could potentially scratch up the rest of the figure if you pose it recklessly. :lol

Maybe it's just my particular figure or I need to handle it more to get a better feel for it.

So we had our Christmas party with our friends tonight. I had the Qubeley on my Xmas list, but the added bonus of the original Gundam was quite surprising. I already knew what to expect out of the Qubeley and it does not disappoint. It's my favorite non-Gundam mobile suit after all. I do wish the funnels were a bit more... mobile because they were tough to put on and they can't move. This is one time I would have rathered had some type of bendy wire, especially given how fragile they are.

As I said above, the original Gundam was a true surprise because I had no interest in it, but holy crap I am so glad I got it. This thing is awesome. The amount of accessories he comes with is down right outstanding. I think the only things missing are the Gundam Hammer and the lance. The articulation also seems to be improved over the other Gundams I have and he doesn't feel as fragile. Oh, I did have a laugh at the packaging yet because it says anime on it. Like no **** sherlock.

It says anime on it because the Ver A.N.I.M.E. range is the new subline that deals purely in "ultimate" editions of the suits from the original series.

Out of that entire thing, the only thing you bother to respond to is the one sarcastic comment I make? Why even bother?

Because it was 7am and that was what stuck out to me the most. But whatever, now you know why it has "ANIME" on the box.

The figure does look great though. I'd have probably bought it if I hadn't gotten the revive kit about a month before it came out. The Z'Goks on the other hand I do need to get around to buying at some point.

Yeah, it really does as I'm quite impressed with it. Of course, getting Amuro's Gundam now makes me kind of want to get Char's Zaku.
