The metahuman is Atom Smasher.

No there's another one. One not in costume. Around the 13/14 second and 49 second mark. I don't know if that's a metahuman or just a normal criminal. Doesn't really show any powers.

I found out that they're making Atom Smasher a villain because of that one Justice Society of America comic where he goes to Central City to kill the Flash.

Hawkman and Hawkgirl costumes. They look alright, it;ll probably grow on me. Don't really have problems with changes to original source.

Those are some awesome ass suits! Helmets looks decent and not very gaudy. And the cowls slightly remind me of Night Owl from "The Watchmen".

So several comics will end in November and December. In November, Doomed and Green Lantern: Lost Army will finish with Issue #6. In December: Justice League United, Gotham By Midnight, The Omega Men, and Lobo will end with Issues #16, 12, 7, and 13 respectively. Also digital series Batman '66 and Sensation Comics Featuring Wonder Woman will end as well in December.

I'm a little bit disappointed that GL: Lost Army is cancelled. I found it interesting, but luckily writer Cullen Bunn said that he'll continue its story in a mini-series or another Lantern series. I don't really care much for the others that are being cancelled except for probably Gotham By Midnight, I kinda liked that series.

I'm fine so long as JL3K isn't cancelled. That one would break my heart.

Also Robin War and it's tie-ins were revealed today as well:

The first month of the main story will consist of: Robin War #1, Grayson #15, Detective Comics #47, We Are Robin #7, and Robin: Son of Batman #7.

Tie-ins will include: Gotham Academy #13, Red Hood/Arsenal #7, and Teen Titans #15.

The story will end in Robin War #2 a month later.

I AM. Absolutely one of my favourites of the DCYOU comics. I love the twist on his origin and I can't wait to see how the story plays out in the end. So far, it's probably the main DCYOU comic that I'm heavily invested in the story

So first look at Red Tornado in Supergirl. I don't like this. I've never really been a fan of Red Tornado but I don't like this look. I know they tried to make it as realsitic as possible and stay close-ish to the original source but I'm not really digging it. There might be a few things missing like CG/effects to make him look more robotic (plus he's missing his cape) but I don't like it.

Recent DC animation thoughts:

Vixen - You were... a thing. It really felt at the end that this was a single episode chopped into tiny bits. Left overall with feelings that not a whole lot happened at all and that if it ever comes back, its "episodes" are longer.

Also, new Justice League cartoon announced.

Airing on Cartoon Network. So my only thought is to expect it cancelled this time next year. :/

Because heaven forbid we get a better super hero show on CN. Though this might survive and may dethrone Teen Titans GO as Cartoon Network's darling.

Seriously why do kids like TTG? Do children just like crap or is there some underlining moment I'm missing because TTG is cheaply made and insults other, better cartoons.

Right now the network's doing a "Stop Bullying Week" and nearly everytime I tune into the channel TTG is on. Kinda defeats the purpose of a anti-bullying week, yes?

Either way, what was the problem with the animation on either of those?

Young Justice I believe was cancelled because merch was not meeting up to expectations despite the awesome animation and story and character designs.
That was what I heard(correct me if I am wrong) and I was really sad when it did not get another season cause it was one of the best DC cartoons I have seen in a while.

Off-topic; any Batman Brave and the Bold fans here?

JLA/JLA Unlimited. It was very.....generic if you ask me. All the guys were drawn the same way body-wise, only difference was height and width. Same for the women. Cookie cut out heroes. That's what I called JLA/JLA Unlimited.

I thought the premiers to both Arrow and Flash were great. Loved the Green Arrow announcement and we just got our first hand in the multiverse on Flash. OH YEAH!!

I disagree. Generic is what made it work because it allowed them to do more actions and stuff. Plus, it had to be in that style for continuity reasons since BTAS, Batman Beyond, and STAS were in that style. You know what series it belongs to when you see them drawn that way.

Really? You have to watch the show in order in full to see the over arching plots, especially for Cadmus. It's spread all throughout the first two seasons while Season 3 is all about Lex and his obsession to bring Braniac back while working for the Legion of Doom.

BTW, I'm referring to JLU for that one. Nevertheless, the show as a whole is easily the best super hero team ever in animation. There are maybe 5 average episodes in total, which are still better than anything else to have ever come out before and after.

The episodes I kept catching had to do with Lex turning into Brainiac, Cadmus trying to destroy the tower, Super Girl's clone Galatea, and that military guy turning himself into a monster to fight the JLA. *shrugs*

I just love it cause it was a fun mix of old-timey and modern elements.

My favorite episodes are definitely more of the modern styled ones like the one with Damian taking over the mantle of Batman and the one with Spectre and Phantom Strange when Bruce found out the truth about Joe Chill, but I highly enjoyed the series. I love the episode with the different Flashes when Barry got trapped into the future by Reverse Flash along with the Birds of Prey episode with Matches Malone. However, the show was great because it embellished all eras of Batman and not just one (which worried me because the first 5 episodes mimicked the Adam West stuff and I HATE the Adam West stuff).
