The only dekaranger minipla I own is dekawing.
I missed my chance on dekarobot and dekabike robot minipla but I found a soul of chokogin version of dekarobot. Don't have the dakabike robot for now.
Dekabase is quite ugly and I found another toy version that is more beautiful and only a bit taller than a minipla (not the dx size).

I don't really have a favourite. I loved them all... I could say shurikenjin as it was the first one I bought while travelling in Japan. At that time I wasn't sure if the result would be great or not and that I would end buying a lot after that.
Super miniplas are also really great as they a more detailed construction pattern.

Yes, I tried to have most of the robots, including gattai, so I have several copies for some of them, if I can find them !

Concerning shurikenger, I miss only UFOMaru and PaonMaru (I found surfer maru while traveling in japan). But otherwise I have shurikenjin, bison king, Lionhao (one in robot version and one combined whith shurikenjin), shurikenjin clear mode with dinomaru and gekiatsudaioh and king shurikenjin

Just seen the new scans for Ryusoulger mech. Lots of awesome mech coming! Can't help but wonder how the next few sets of MiniPla are gonna pan out. As in, what mech in what set. Do they usually do MiniPla for the movie mech?

Set 03 is for july and should be "KishiRyu Neptune" (preorder are open but not real infos on what it is)
Set 02 has no date (a rumour told of may and a 8 box set)
The movie mech has a release but usually not a set, you have to but the whole box with lot of duplicate or using a middleman /mandarake to buy only the part that interest you. I don't think this year will be different, but who knows...
It usually go out on august. So it should be set 04.
Other release, as they are almost only power up for kishiryuoh, may only be released later ( october/november) and may not have a set (like last year with vs vehicules 05)

Curious to have infos on the clear miniplas that should be release, mmmh, perhaps in june like last year (hope it is not not only a prize for the minipla photo contest)

I'm thinking set 02 should be Tigerlance and Mineedle, though not sure what would round out the set? Perhaps the raptors?

Guessing Dimevolcano may come in set 03 but only time will tell. I've already pre-ordered set 03 but not found anywhere to order set 02 as of yet, if and when I find it I shall post it here. Dunno if I will bother with the movie set but THE GOLD LOOKS SO NICE.

I'm not bothered about glitter set but I hope it's mass release or an exclusive at least for those who want to get their hands on it.

Also. Jet Icarus looks amazing and I hope to pick it up at some point. Never watched any pre mmpr Sentai by the design of that mech has always been lovely to me. That and Liverobo which I missed out on haha. Got into the line too late!

I agree for tigerlance and Mineedle. Dimevolcano could with it or set 3. Not sure for now. Perhaps a complete set with kyshiryoh to be able todo kishiryu five knight, but they have never re released a set so soon, so I will not bet on that.
But it usually follow the release of the DX toys. Usually the same month, sometime later (vs vehicule splash,magig, victory striker and siren striker were only released in november last year) .
I like to make the big combos withe the clear miniplas (wild tousai dodeka king for example)
Jet icarus and garuda looks really great, I raelly hope they continue to do all sentai robots in the superminipla line.
If you can get an hand on galaxy mega (and delta mega), it was release in january. Really great too.

That's another set I regret missing out on as it's a DX set I never had when I was younger. I REALLY hope they do the GoGoFive mecha line. That will getting pre-ordered immediately!

Not for now. I did almost all Gaogaiger super minipla, but I begin to lack space, so I will continue anything related to sentai, but choose very carfefully what I will but when it is not

Ah a very wise decision! I thought about going all in on Gaogaigar but only got the 1st set, and HoRyu and EnRyu coming. As good as the rest looks, they all very similar molds other than GaoFar!

I think I'm all in on Ryusoulger though :) really love this series' designs :D

It should be up soon if it is for may. We already had this kind of release schedule for kyuranger (set 4, preorder was up just before the beginning of the month)

I just finished Tyramigo today and I am really impressed. A few hollow areas but the plastic quality is great and the build was very fun! After watching videos online of the MiniPla builds from Kyoryuger to Lupin V Pat, the Ryusoulger builds seem to rely a lot less on stickers!

I must say that it doesn't bother me really because I can have 3 knights ad 5 knights (and as I have bought already 2 set 01, will do dimevolcano too), but I understand that you can feel that way. I am worried to see how they will sell it : as a set only (with all 8 boxes) or in a big box only (and have to manage duplicates)

I don't mind the duplicate Three Knights really, but I do hope they release as a set. That would suck otherwise for a regular retail release!

Given that they released kishiryu 3 knight only one month before, I wouldn't be surprised to see only a big box. Last year series 03 and 05 didn't have a set only a big box. Let's wait for the preorder to open to see, it shouldn't be long now.

I think it is due to the golden week and the special 10 holidays days.
Amiami hasn't been updated since April 27th, it won't be until at least monday and perhaps tuesday (monday is shown as red and tuesday is blue meaning that there are no phone support on those days).

Now that it's here, feeling a little bit hesitant about having to buy a complete set 01 to get the ones I want from set 03... :/

Do we have ANY idea if the three new molds will be in set 03? I would be happy to wait to get them, and actually a bit annoyed if I ended up with duplicates of those three as well haha

Given that set 03 is 5 box and that it wil be Neptune, I don't think you will have anything else in that set (I can be wrong of course...)

Yes, the set is 5 box. According to the price, it is right.
Last year the big box for set 2 was 12 boxes and the individual set was 5 boxes too.
But last year there was good striker, so I think that there was 3 good striker in the big box.
I don't think that they would do a set with 4 box for Neptune and 1 for dimevolcano and have the big box have 2 complete Neptune and 4 dime volcano...
I think that those big boxes are used in japanese shop to sell to kids (you can see pictures here and there were you can see the big box in the store).
Future will tell !

Rerelease are rare. This is the first time for me (perhaps for ninninger but I didn't bought miniplas at that time) that the first robot have two release within only a month.
Also don't expect Bandai to try to reduce the number of box for a robot, they will in fact do quite the opposite (usually 5 or 6 is a rule). Capitalism rules ;)
The only one where they tried to do an effort was for the moraimars with only 2 box (but 2 is too few for that and you can feel it once you have actually built the robot).

Partial rereleases aren't too rare, but a full one like this is. IIRC,Kyuranger had quite a few - two Shishis (Kyuren-Oh took up two sets to get all the main voyagers, so repeat of shishi) then included a second Sasori in set 3 and 4 other repeat limb voyagers in set 5 for Cerberios. LuPat had Good Striker twice (1 and 2), and blue and yellow twice (1 and 5).

It seems like they throw in repeats if there's a mecha that can't fit in one set, or a movie mecha that uses some parts from the main one. I guess this is because TigerLance and MilNeedle still need parts from Toricane and Ankyloze but the fact that that's the entire set is still weird

I agree that it must be to sell a complete robot to the kids that they do a partial or complete rerelease.
I think that we are in the same case that kyuranger with set 1 and 2 and they didn't want to sell a set with only Tigerlance, Milneedle and Dimevolcano.
So it make sense to sell it together with kishiryu 3 knights to make kishiryu 5 knights (even more if as you said you need parts from triken and ankylose to do any other forms with tigerlance , milneedle or dimevolcano)
Wonder if they will do it again for future release ( ShineRaptor, ShadowRaptor, Pachygaru)

I'm wary of ordering it, particularly because I already ordered set 3 sight-unseen. Also, I recently built set 1, and my feelings about it are a little mixed.

Good stuff:
- Easy build.
- Great articulation.
- They included some (unimpressive) extra gun and drill parts so boxes 1-3 can make a complete KishiryuOh, and these are useful for integrating into different mecha combinations.
- As expected, you can put together lots of different combinations.

The not-so-good-stuff:

- Dull gray plastic on Triken and Ankyrose doesn't look great.
- Design flaw: because you'll be constantly switching parts, the stickers take a beating. The sticker on the Tyramigo KishiryuOh head on mine got mangled because you have to apply a good amount of pressure to switch heads, and I've switched heads quite a bit.
- Ankyrose and Triken are not great mecha. Whereas Tyramigo is pretty good as a stand-alone, the other two are useless outside combinations.
- Connection ports and joints are weak and prone to falling apart. Stuff is constantly popping off of mine, and the elbows do not want to stay together. Given that you'll be switching stuff on the arms regularly, this is a problem. This is the finickiest Sentai minipla I've handled, and I've only owned it for a week.

I would agree with your points if I'm being honest, but I'm still enjoying it an awful lot :D just gotta be careful with it in a way I guess? Fun :)

I've gone ahead and ordered the set. I don't wanna miss out. If I end up with extras, I will deal with them somehow, or they will be good to have as back up :D

According to the blog and the google translate they intend to do the robot and the Jaguar Vulcan base (expect an expensive bandai premium release for this ?)
They seem also to go for showa series first (with robot and base)

I didn't know that Garuda was a Bandai Premium release! The Jet Icarus set looks so cool. I'm still sorely tempted by it.

Apart mandarake (but old set are usually quite expensive) and yahoo auction (some can be really expensive but I bought some that were not so expensive), I don't know where to buy old miniplas. Perhaps there are seller here on the forum ?Ebay can be a choice but I would'nt be surpised if it was only very expensive thing that could be found on yahou auction for less than that.

Amiami is good only for new release and doesn't have anything left only a few month after a set is out (not to say is already out of stock a few days after it is released !)
